Today I went to this location in Grand haven to order a pecan oatmeal Cortada listed on their sign and was told they no longer have it as i it's a seasonal item . The only thing they had for " seasonal " was pumpkin spice Latte'. I ordered and went to the window to pay . I asked just to be clear what season it was and what are the drinks for whatever season we are in , she answers " fall". So very tired of not ever having what they advertise or are out of the syrup . This Starbucks are super crowded and busy. With the social distance now, they remove the self service counter for the cream and sugar. Instead, you need to ask for it. The issue which I ran into was the first day I asked for the sugar and stir stick when I ordered. But the items were not given. End up we have to ask again, but the staff only gave us regular sugar and not the raw sugar. Second time, I ordered from the apps. I asked for a package of raw sugar in the app. When I pick it up, I didn't see the sugar nor the stir stick. The staff told me the whole package of sugar was already poured into the coffee. I told the staff I only want a little sugar but not the whole package. They re-make the coffee, but then this time they poured too much milk into the coffee. I found it is difficult to get exact coffee I like with this kind of process. They should think about getting package half and half, and leave the customer to pour the sugar and milk themselves. At the end, each customer has their own taste. And this is a cafe charging higher cost with a concept to let customer customizing their taste. I would not think the fast food concept should apply here ( even fast food store will not add your sugar for you). Other than that, service is okay, but not super nice as everyone are super busy. read more

When caffeine is needed, there is only answer: Starbucks! Went through the drive-thru as we were in a rush! There were a few cars ahead of us, but they flew thru as the staff inside was on top of things and cranking drinks out! The only let down was I dont think they put in the extra shot I requested, and my hubby had to remind them to add vanilla to his chai. But other than that, the bacon gouda sammiches are what we always get there when we hunger, and they made the drinks fast! Thanks Starbucks for the pick me up! read more

The drive thru employees are very friendly and great at taking your order but who ever is making the iced caramel macchiato is putting way too much caramel in there. Your sucking up huge globs and the cup is super sticky when its handed to you. Just need a little more effort of the employees. read more

Nice people, serious internal supply chain issues. After placing our name on a waiting list for Grand Havens very own Morning Star Cafe, my party decided to utilize the 30 minute wait period to grab a cup of coffee at Starbucks. After a short 3 minute drive to this respective Starbucks, we were able to place our order quickly. That said, we waited ~25 minutes for our drinks to finally come out. I am willing to give the staff of Starbucks the benefit of the doubt and assume that the lack of timeliness is attributed to internal supply chain issues rather than employee effort. Audrey was a fun loving barista with the type of spunk you want out of the woman making your coffee. That said, her attitude was not enough to counteract the inconvenience of a 25 minute wait. The review gets a 4 star rating because of the fact I've simply converted to Peet's Coffee now having moved to California. The staff at this Starbucks are fantastic! They always seem to try their best to remember your drink, and always smile. They strive hard to make the customer happy, something you don't see very often in the service industry. Once, my drink took about 5 minutes to make, but they gave it to me for free and apologized repeatedly. You're in for a smile if you get Kathleen as your Barista! read more

I always tend to hit up Starbucks after a day at the beach. It is perfect as it allows a restroom break as well as grabbing a delicious cup of coffee or cold drink before heading back to my parents house (I'm from out-of-state). The staff has always been real friendly and the inside is very clean and organized. The bathrooms are clean and well stocked. Sometimes during busy times the time it takes my order to come out can be a bit long, but normally drinks come out rather quickly. They do have outdoor seating if you want to sit and enjoy the sunset or just chill out after a day at the beach with friends. If you are in a hurry, they do have a drive thru. read more

This Starbucks has a friendly staff and overall makes good drinks. The atmosphere is usually lively given that it's popular with kids/adults as a hangout spot, as well as many people working and vacationers. I gave it a 4 because it is small for how busy it is...not a lot of inside seating space. It's also a pain to get into the lot given the road configuration, but that's not their fault. The staff at this Starbucks are incredibly friendly! I go in (almost) every day to get my usual drinks and food items. They are definitely busy at the expected times (Sunday morning especially) however, the staff is always working hard to pump out the drinks as fast as they can. Aside from the occasional long lines, this Starbucks is good and quick! I also use the mobile order feature pretty frequently and my order is almost always waiting for me by the time I arrive. read more
