I came in for my free birthday drink. The drink was 10/10. A woman after me- I could tell from the way she was speaking, was impaired mentally, she spoke like she was trying to figure out how to word things as she was saying them and attempted to explain her birthday was October 13th and she wondered if she could get her birthday drink. She had wallet in hand to try to provide proof if it had been requested. She was immediately denied and turned away. I understand that people lie all the time, that there are policies in place but she did not get the great customer service I received. She did not get the benefit of the doubt. The cashier did not even attempt to go higher up to ask for an exception to be made. As I was waiting for my drink, one of the baristas explained excitedly that this location was the most heaviest in all of DFW due to the location. As a store who is not struggling whatsoever financially and has such high foot traffic all hours of the day- I would expect more. I haven't been to Starbucks in a while since I moved. We have a private owned coffee shop in my town, so I've been frequenting there. I was at the discount tire next door and decided to get a coffee. I pull up to order and I asked for sweet cream in my coffee. Two guys inside (one on the speaker and one in the background) starting mocking me about my order because of the sweet cream. The guy on the speaker says in a very sarcastic way "well cream it up for you real good" and they both laugh. This was September 16, 2025 at 10:46 am. I will leave you to properly handle this situation and talk to your team about customer service and how to act towards customers. Usually, I would consider it lowly to post a negative review of a Starbucks, just because it is easy to see this is a corporation that does NOT treat their employees well. However, the service provided at this location is just as shameful. I asked for an iced beverage, and when it was made hot, I went back to the counter to politely ask for it to be re-made. The gentleman behind the counter would not speak to me, but did take my drink back. I was confused as to what was going on, so I returned to my seat to pack up and take my study session elsewhere. I heard my name called out, and picked up another hot drink. The sticker said iced. Take your business to Huey's! They are back to a five star rating in my opinion! I don't know that they are fully staffed again but it feels like they are comfortable again and producing their coffees in a quick fashion. Covid was rough on everyone and this family seems to be recovering nicely. The restrooms were clean and I was able to order and get my drink in a timely manner. And the workers do seem to be smiling again. That makes me very happy because this is our only Starbucks in Greenville. read more

The food ordered was warm. No real complaints. The coffee was not up to Starbucks heart level. The team was really nice. The inside of this facility needs a serious upgrade now not later. With the traffic at this store they are in need of a large facility. This team deserves a nice place to work. Terrible management. Andy the manager is a horrible manager and and can clearly see he doesn't treat his workers correctly and the workers are very uncomfortable around him. I have known some of the workers for a long time and always love their service when the manager is not there and I get my drink very fast almost every time. I do everything I can to avoid chains, in Greenville you don't really have that luxury. However this Starbucks is a gem and the staff and management do customer service better than just about any coffee shop I've ever been to, and equal the best. Even being busier than I see just about any other business in town they're still able to give the customer service that I expect and rarely happen to see. Don't place mobile orders here if you're in a hurry, they don't make them very quickly. I go to Starbucks frequently, probably too frequently for a $6 glass of flavored milk, but either way and I still keep coming back, but after visiting this location, that I think needs to change. I have been to this location several times and every time they are a failure. Either they are out of something or they get the order wrong or you are standing there for your mobile order and none of the 5-8 people behind the counter are acknowledging your existence or they have long drive through lines. They literally seem to be doing everything in their power to detract customers. While they NOW have a mobile pick up area close to the register where someone should help you faster, it still failed. I walked in gave the person working the mobile area my name, she said it and looks for the drink and I guess it wasn't there and just start calling out other names for 2 minutes. She said nothing to me like "it will be right up" or "I don't see it here, let me look". It was like I became invisible. It was so strange. So I moved over to the order line and asked the guy there where my drink was. It was still being made even thought it was 10min past the latest time they said it would be ready. Then when it was done she put it with the drinks that where order in the store, where it stat for at least 5 more minute and I had to say "where is it" and he found I there. This place is so messed up and not managed well. The store manager that calls herself "queen bee" according to their instore bulletin board, needs to do so much better then she is currently doing. But I think I also found out one of the problems on the customer service side. They are being led by a District Manager named Dawn that doesn't care about customer experiences either. I called her over two weeks ago, the day this all happed, and she never called back. So if she is not calling customer back, I can only imagine how she coaches and training her mangers to provide even the basics in customer service. For the price we pay for Starbucks products, not only should things taste good but customers that are of sound mind and not being crazy people and just looking for standard customer service should be getting it and the fact that a District Manger doesn't call back says a lot about how they lack respect for their customers. read more

Worst Starbucks I have ever been to. And I go to Starbucks a lot! The staff all have a terrible attitude and just do not give a damn. They have 30 cars in the drive thru but because I am passing through town, I'm willing to wait and hope it moves. I finally get to the order screen after 10 min and they have no pastries left, and only coconut milk. So I cannot order any food or drink and now I'm stuck for 20 minutes in the line waiting to get out with nothing to show for it. Being out of stuff completely on a Saturday happens.... But I've seen many Starbucks deal with it in a customer friendly way by putting a sign at the beginning of the drive thru: we are out of pastries! Or Only Coconut milk today! Dirty- all trashcans overflowing, bathrooms hideous and out of toilet paper, etc. Slow- we literally waited 20 minutes for 3 drinks (that doesn't include line and time to order) Incompetent- our drinks were both entered incorrectly and made wrong. Plus our names weren't taken for the cups so it was a disaster pinpointing what happened. There was one blonde girl making frozen drinks that at least had a sense of urgency and was busting her ass. I really don't understand. There were 7 people on the team working, and it still took 15 minutes for me to get my mocha frap anf for my boyfriend to get his iced mocha. This Starbucks IS, indeed, pretty bad. They're very inconsistent like has been stated before. My husband goes several times a week (I'm pregnant and because they forget to make it decaf even tho I ask, I just gave up), and he orders the same thing every time. Some times it's good, sometimes it's awful, sometimes it has cream, sometimes half and half, sometimes milk, sometimes they forget extra shots. Sometimes they remember the extra shots. Sometimes they get it right even though it's just filter coffee, heavy cream, four sugars and 2 shots. Not complicated, but at this place it can be. On the upside, they're really nice so it's hard to get upset cause you can tell they're trying. There's one guy that's been there awhile and he works the drive thru a lot, he's really knowledgeable and friendly, but if he's not there.... Yeah...that's bad. It's a Starbucks. Only accessible headed East on I30 on the frontage road. Or if you're from the area you can take the back way, but I find its location accessibility annoying. So yeah. Good luck read more

I like to study here bc you get refills on iced tea and iced coffee with your gold card. This starbucks is always busy. I have come at all different times of the day and night but there is a line inside as well as the drive thru. I went through the drive thru ordered a caramel frap with extra extra caramel drizzle. The attendant took my order quickly and repeated it back correctly. Waited almost five minutes to get the drink and the car in front of me was served my frap. I could see all the drizzle on the top of the whip cream when he passed it to them. They gave it back to him and he gave them theirs. I pulled up and got mine, paid with my app and left. My frap had already started to melt because it wasn't the icy frozen drink it normally is. My suggestion is to make the drinks in the order they were received which will cut the confusion for the drive thru attendant, and save the customers drinks from melting while they are waiting to get to your window. read more

The staff tends to get easily backed up and if you are not careful your drink will end up last behind the four people behind you. Tonight the Husband and I had long drive back home and happen to spot a Starbucks on the way. We needed to Re-energize So we decided to walk in. As we entered we looked at the menu and noticed a few Baristas behind the counter. We never got acknowledged and as we walked up to the counter where the Barista (Kayla) was too busy counting her tips and didn't even look up until we asked about a certain drink and then again she hesitated to answer until she was done. We continued to just proceed with the order even though we felt we were a inconvenience. After we placed the order and walked towards the pick up area we were greeted by another gentleman even though he was busy cleaning so that's why we gave the 2 star review other than that I wouldn't bother.
