Excellent. I went due to an appt I had at the hospital and the workers were great. Helped during a hard time. Delicious falafel pocket. I visit this Starbucks regularly because it's convenient--I live right across the street. However, this location consistently runs out of items on a daily basis, and the drive-thru is extremely slow. If there are more than three cars in line, expect to wait at least 10 minutes. If you're in a rush, especially heading to work, I wouldn't recommend using this drive-thru. The staff here has generally been friendly, but my experience today was disappointing. When I asked why they always run out of items, the employee at the drive-thru told me they "sell a lot" and that I come "towards the end of the day"--which didn't make sense since it was only 5:15 PM, and they close at 9 PM. They were out of pink cake pops and cookies, so I had to change my order. When I reached the window, I mentioned that they should manage inventory better since this is a recurring issue. Instead of acknowledging the concern, the employee got defensive and told me, "Sir, you're always complaining, go down the street and order somewhere else." He then contradicted himself by saying he had never seen me before. What really caught me off guard was his behavior when it came time to pay. When I handed him my phone to scan the app, he refused to give me my order until my payment went through--acting as if I was going to steal my own order. Meanwhile, he left another customer's drink outside on the window ledge and walked away. He was dismissive, unprofessional, and condescending, repeatedly calling me "boss" instead of simply apologizing and handling the situation better. I usually have good interactions with the staff here, but this employee was completely out of pocket. Starbucks should work on improving inventory management and training their employees on basic customer service and professionalism. read more

Came to this spot while visiting family in Jersey and after going to a couple others that were sold out of the new pumpkin cream cold brew--I was on a mission! And the drink did not disappoint. The top layer of "foam" is where you'll find the drink boasts it sweetened pumpkin flavor. The creaminess of this first layer is then preceded by the bold rich flavor of the cold brew coffee. The ambiance of this Starbucks was typical of any others. There were some cute retail items which I debated purchasing only because I didn't really need another coffee mug. Other hopefully useful tips are there is no drive through and parking can be a bit tricky. The Starbucks however is centrally located and Hackensack hospital is within walking distance. read more

Needed to waste some time waiting for an outpatient at the hospital around the corner and decided to grab a frap here. Parking lot was full, but cars are constantly in and out so easy to find a spot. Line to the door, but it moved very fast. Ordered my hubs his mocha frap and the chocolate pound cake. Cashier was really friendly and place was clean. Unlike other Starbucks, they didn't ask for your name and just marked your cup with what you ordered. However when waiting at pickup, it was rather noisy from the crowd and overhead speaker blasting music. We didn't hear the server call out "mocha frap" hence it sat there with us all staring at it for a minute. I finally asked whose is this and after looking at the fellow patrons shrugging their shoulders we assumed it was ours, grabbed it, and left. Hubs downed it and said the poundcake was really moist and hit the spot. No complaints here! Just prefer if they stick to writing your name on the cup. read more

I'm going to say yes due to to good service at this location for two reasons- 1. I was so goofy that I hadn't downloaded my two gift cards before placing my order and the guy was still really cool with that. I basically paid after my drinks were made and he was nice about it even though I know it was bad on my part and 2. When I ordered two caramel Frappuccinos-(one decaf for my daughter) he informed me that they could actually make it with no coffee at all which was perfect for daughter. The interior is just as most other Starbucks, it's nice and clean, but this location is a bit small. It's in a little mall strip with a decent amount of parking space. read more

Service is very slow, but it is a very high traffic shop. I think they are under staff and need some improvement. Busy place right next to Hackensack medical center. It is a smaller store so not too many tables. This is more of a take out spot in terms of coffee than sit down. You do move quickly through the line so that isn't an issue. The coffees come out hot and nicely done. Starbucks is Starbucks so not much to report here. There are couple problems with Starbucks overall, and both exist at this location. #1 The food case/enclosure. Almost all the Starbucks I visit have gnats flying around in the cases they are very hard to notice unless you look closely and I noticed them at this location. The case was not necessarily dirty but it did have crumbs all over the bottom, not meticulously clean as needed to avoid the bugs flying around the enclosed case, on and off the food, very nauseating. #2 I love frappucino's when they are made the way they are supposed to but unfortunately I am lucky if I get it made right 50% of the time I order it. It happened to me the other day at this location I could actually tell just from the way the girl had to pound the lumpy "drink" out of the blender container that something was missing, or not measured right. It cost like like $6.50, it tasted like lightly coffee flavored snow cone, I assume too much ice was the culprit, who knows. I hate returning my drinks especially after I just waited 20 minutes, I feel like a jerk even though i shouldn't. I wish I could just jump back there and make it myself! read more

Every time I come here I always have a great experience! The employees are very nice and friendly! They are also doing a very cute and sweet idea of putting out sticky notes and markers so customers can put nice notes for others! When I ordered my drink (strawberry acai with coconut milk) and a plain bagel with cream cheese the cashier had an attitude, which I didn't appreciate. The barista made my drink quick but I waited more than five minutes for my bagel, and it was pretty soft even when I asked for it to be toasted. I went for a coffee before work! And In the store there was two guys and one girl! One guy was cleaning and the girl and guy took about 15 min to even try and make my drink! What got me upset is that there was only one customer in the store and it took them 15 min to even pick up my cup, so I asked for a refund and I had to wait another 5 min because she couldn't even find a pen! This Starbucks is very convenient as it's right next to my place of work. They're usually fast and polite. They mix their drinks well. They have plenty of seating for a break or to do work/school work. I've never had them mess up my drink order which is a huge plus. read more

I went here to get a drink while waiting for my bus to arrive. The barista at the front was having a fleshed out conversation with an employee who was off duty about mundane stuff and how life was going. The convo lasted 10 minutes, I timed it. The line got to about 7 of us, all visually annoyed that he noticed us yet didn't even seem to care that we where waiting. Parking can be tough in the adjacent outdoor lot, and you don't want to linger there for too long, as you might get a ticket. However, there is no such problem in the underground garage. I love my neighborhood Starbucks. My wife and I stop by at least once a week for our refreshing drinks. There's a lady that seemed to be the manager (I did not know her name as she didn't have a nametag), she was very nice, polite and friendly. I'm a Veteran, therefore I asked her if Starbucks offers any deals for Veterans, she mentioned that they don't have that option on their register but that she will offer me a free drink. I was pleasantly surprised and grateful to her for the offer. I ordered Strawberry Cream with whip cream and my wife got the cold Green Tea Latté. I must say Jonah did a marvelous job on our drinks, both our drinks had the right amount of sugar content. It tasted divine! The meals and drink makes Starbucks the place to indulge, but the staff is what makes it a joy and a pleasure to visit. They did an outstanding job! read more

Very slow. This shop also has the worst parking lot and worst store layout of any Starbucks I've been to. The counter where orders are picked up is right next to the entrance and causes a very cramped and uncomfortable 15 minute wait.
