Pros: i visit this particular Starbucks frequently. Most of the staff is friendly. Cons: I'm usually the first 5am customer. The only negative comment is there's an older woman who works behind the counter...lets just says she's not a morning person. I say good morning and she either ignores me or just grunts. I'm not ecstatic about being up that early either but my morning moca makes it all better. I just wish she was a little more friendly at that time in the morning. The rest of the staff is very friendly even though its 5am. Thumbs up to this location. read more

News flash for Baristas - iced coffee is not cold brew. And it's extremely easy to tell. When you hand me a room temperature drink with most of the ice melted I know it's been sitting out. The only reason I go to Starbucks anymore is because of the cold brew, with 65% less acid I no longer have stomach problems. You give me coffee that's been hot brewed and sat out, I get acid, and it's not worth four and a half dollars. Do your job and make sure you have the stuff on hand. read more

Driving to New Jersey during with an impending blizzard, nothing sounds better than a hot cuppa coffee. We were trying desperately to travel North on 95, despite numerous weather-related traffic accidents, snow plows and snow moving equipment. Our typical drive through MD took a few hours longer than normal due to the blizzard chaos. We veered off our course for some hot and tasty coffee. Arundel Preserve is a new strip center next to a bunch of condos/apartments and offers a corner Starbucks, along with another wine shop, which was second in demand only to Starbucks during the cold weather. I ordered our usual grande coffees- we're no frills, unlike most who want a double this, no whip that, skinny this, soy that. What I found inspiring enough to write about was the fact that this Starbucks was open, very busy (most people just walked over), and very friendly and courteous. A lot of times, I find that if your order is simple, people assume that you are, that you don't need courtesy or pleasantries. Wrong! The cashier/barista was very friendly. He did something that no other Starbucks-er has done for me. He directed me to the cream/sweetener mixing bar area. Let's face it. There are a bajillion Starbucks out there. The coffee station with sweetners/cream/napkins can be any number of places, from the front to the back and halfway in between. I thought this was a particularly nice detail and showed true promise in terms of helping the customer have a nice experience. Right on you Mr. Barista. Just because I order a simple coffee, doesn't mean I don't want some lovin'. Well done Starbucks Arundel Preserve. You were truly an oasis! read more

My boyfriend and I lived in the apartment complex right across the street from this Starbucks, and we just absolutely loved it. The staff there is so, so knowledgeable, and friendly, and fun, and happy. My boyfriend liked this one drink, and he explained it to the barista, and he knew the name of the dink and told him what was in it, so he would be able to order it at other Starbucks locations. The seating there is so cute, and the drinks are always awesome, fresh, and delicious, just a wonderful place, and I miss it so, so much! read more

Typical Starbucks, when I visited it was very busy and there was a long line. They were able to get through all the customers orders very quickly. I took my coffee to go but noticed that if I wanted to stay there weren't very many open tables. This seems to be a very popular location. The staff was friendly and very quick. read more

I always get a tall macchiato w/whipped cream. Well this one Starbucks ALWAYS shorts my tall. My cup is always light and filled with coffee and whipped cream there's room at the top for more coffee. I've never complained but next time I will def tell them to fill my cup. Other Starbucks fill my cup and with the WC on top it's touching the plastic cup cap. read more

I cannot say enough great things about this location. If you are a regular, prepare to be treated extremely well. The staff is wonderful, the store always looks great and is clean and the coffee done perfectly. Even if you are the occasional visitor, you will be well taken care of by some of the nicest people who truly care about their work. Wonderful Starbucks. Great staff, service and products. My only reasons for not giving 5 stars are the extremely uncomfortable chairs and they keep it "meat locker" cold at the location. Update 9/2016: Please clean the ladies room more often. It smells awful and has some "pretend" air freshener in it that is very unpleasant. For a high traffic store like this the rest room should be cleaned and sanitized every 2 hours. Try Clorox!!!!!! read more

I'm a starbucks regular and try to visit them when i am traveling. This Starbucks is way too small for its location and volume. I have stopped here twice now while traveling on 295 and have not been impressed either time. The first time I just used the bathroom (dirty) and skipped the coffee because the line was just so long. The second time, the line was long again (to the back of store) but we ordered coffee anyway. To the staff's credit, the line did move quicker than anticipated. We were there around 11 am and much of the food was already gone. The atmosphere there is just crowded and stressful (not what you want after being in the car for several hours). I think I'll skip this Starbucks from now on. read more

This Starbucks is in a great location right off 295. It's also across the street from the Arbors at Arundel Mills apartment complex. It doesn't feel as cramped as the other 2 Starbucks in town and the baristas are friendly. The coffee is the usual Starbucks quality. read more

They still have a long way to go regarding customer service but the drinks / food are always on point. I'm still convinced they hire people from the circus. I've never seen so many piercings, hair colors, and tattoos. The parking lot is the main reason I stay away from this place. Terrible set up. Stopped by since I was next door getting food. I ordered 2 drinks, a java chip frappe and a caramel macchiato. Both drinks tasted off to me. The macchiato was the worst. I've ordered this drink from other Starbucks and found it do be almost worth the ridiculous price they charge but this location has the most disgusting drinks. Both tasted a little sour and the macchiAto tasted like it had no espresso in it. It's tasted like watered down milk with a little flavor. If I had not tasted my drink until I was 15 miles awhile I would of definitely returned it. If this was my first time ever having those drinks I would never drink at Starbucks again. But since I have a gift card with more money on it I will try another drink, definitely from a different location! read more

I am usually pretty fair, but I live near this Starbucks and the service is horrible. There are a couple of employees that are okay, but most of them are unfriendly and lack social skills. They barely look you in the eye when they take your order and they often get my order wrong. When I confront them about the mistake they will often argue. From my experience with customer service, it must be a problem with the management. Also, they do a very poor job of emptying the garbage inside and especially outside the building. read more
