Came into the drive-thru to order a few drinks, after giving my order everything looked right on the screen and my order was an iced vanilla latte decaf with brown sugar and oat milk. Once I got to the window I guess they forgot whether it was hot or iced and I reminded them iced please, they gave me a regular iced vanilla latte and I didn't notice until I was home and I even tipped larger than normal . Then I was given a drink carrier but no stoppers for the drinks so they spilled on the way home a little after a few turns, at least the wife's drink was made correctly. read more

There should be an option for zero stars. Went to the drive thru at about 12pm 1/26/26. I ordered a matcha latte with oat milk. I asked if the whipped topping had dairy ingredients and the female employee responded with "your drink doesn't have whip" I replied with I understand but I would like to know if the whipped topping has dairy. I got the same response 2 more times. I wanted to order another drink with whip. Ended up ordering one drink and then proceeded to drive through. I paid with a gift card on my phone and then asked if I could get a stopper. The drive thru is configured weird so long vehicles have about a 1-2 ft reach to the window. I extended out my hand holding the cup and asked if she could put in place . She kept saying here you go , so I finally extended other arm to grab the stick. So annoying!! We are currently living with a coronavirus pandemic. This has caused most of us to make changes to our daily routines. A lot of businesses are temporarily closed. The ones that are open have changed their hours and done whatever they can to eliminate people from congregating in groups. This means there is no "dine in" seating available anywhere. Starbucks is still open but you can only get your food or beverage "to go". There is no seating available indoors or outdoors on the patio. When we visited this Starbucks today, the employees were friendly and cheerful. The food cases were neat, clean and well stocked. Our drinks were made correctly and although we could not hang out here, at least we were able to enjoy a bit of normalcy drinking our Starbucks. The drive thru is open and it was busy. Most of us are not venturing far from home right now. I go to work and visit businesses near my home. We are all doing what we feel comfortable with at this time. One thing is for certain, the baristas at this Starbucks really seemed to appreciate the customers that came by today. We appreciate them as well. read more

Disclaimer: for just coffee by myself I tend to go elsewhere. When I need food too and/or have my kid ( and her friends) with me, this is the go to. This is absolutely our favorite Starbucks. We have come here for years and years. It is on our route to many of our doctors, it is in the path to my old job and my kid's various activities. The parking lot is scary and busy. We prefer the drive thru. The baristas are super friendly and our drinks have always been spot on. Recently they were out of juice for my teen Princess' beloved pink drink and they were quick to offer an acceptable alternative. Even though it was not as good it was pretty close and Princess would have been utterly stuck without their help, creature of habit that she is. Like most Starbucks drive thrus they do not list all their available food and beverages on the menu sign so we have to guess. They have consistently been patient with us. Sometimes we guess wrong and choose a seasonal item when it is past it's season. ( RIP holiday panini Lol). Then we have to scramble for yummy alternatives. We have found some new favorites with their help. The chicken artichoke flatbread turned out to be pretty tasty per the girls. FYI. Recently they were out of quite a few things when the highway to Seattle was blocked by that terrible train wreck and their shipments from the bakery could not get through. They explaIned the issue to us pleasantly and we found something else edible because we are flexible like that ( even the teen). This is pretty much a standard Starbucks in term of the menu. There are espresso drinks, frappuccinos, tea, packaged lunches, warm sandwiches, bakery treats, and light snacks. Though others may complain about having five Starbucks within a mile of each other, but I actually love it. Especially because of the fact that the service can vary drastically. Thankfully, this is one of those Starbucks where the baristas are actually friendly. It's smaller, but it seems less crowded and it always l looks pretty clean when I come here. The drive thru however tends to be very busy in the mornings. But the good thing is that they have numerous employees working when it gets that busy. Ordered: Crystal Ball Grande Frappucino-- This is essentially vanilla bean frappe with peach flavoring in it. Pretty good and very Instagrammable. Service: Excellent! Watch out!! This was my fav Strbx, because they were the first drive thru in the whole suburb high tech hillsboro area since 200....3? One of your average Starbucks locations. This is the one I hit when I'm out doing errands on a weekend, usually. The drive through is fast, and efficient. My order is usually delivered perfectly, but the amount of cream they splash in there varies wildly. I wish there was some way to standardize that. You know, by measuring...? Slow. Slow. Slow. I placed a mobile order that estimated a wait time of 4 minutes. I arrived 4 minutes later but my drink was not ready. As I waited I noticed several empty cups sitting on the counter. The 2 girls behind the counter ran around like over caffeinated chickens with their heads cut off. Finally a manager appeared, and a few minutes later another employee came out but yet I wait. If your promotion starts at 3, schedule breaks accordingly. In total I waited 14 minutes for a drink that should have taken 4 minutes at most. I got no apology, no 'sorry for the wait'. I came in on my break to get a whole milk chai no water no foam extra hot. the person who was at the drive thru seemed rude right off the bat. I just got vibe from her. she gave me my drink and all should have been fine but realized my drink wasnt made right. so I went through the drive thru again and asked that it be remade. she said okay and upgraded the drink to a large for some reason. I got to the window and she gave me my drink but asked for the old drink back. I used to work at Starbucks and that's a health code violation. I told her I thought it was weird but she said her manager told her. Twice now I've had a bad experience here. Bought ground coffee for cold brew... Opened 2 weeks later and it was the wrong grind - too fine to use. Yes this coffee chain is everywhere! This location is quite busy every time I visit since they're located near a hospital (Kaiser), an out-patient clinic (VA), a shopping area (Tanasbourne Mall) and several other businesses nearby. They have a few couches, tables and chairs for you to study or have meetings. But I think they have more outdoor patio furniture than the other Starbucks in the area. Their drive thru is just as busy as it is inside! Bathrooms are a bit unkept (possibly due to the fact they're so busy pumping out drinks for customers, this area is unattended). But alas, same old drinks from the cookie cutter chain! read more

I will say one thing about this Starbucks...and that is the new manager is a wonderful woman who is heading in the right direction with this location. I had an issue with a member of the staff at this location and she was kind enough to hear me out and take care of the situation in a professional manner. Greatly appreciated. Other than that, it's pretty much your standard Starbucks in suburbia. Nice little outside area, and an even smaller inside area. As a coffee shop, one is expected to be able to order and receive items displayed on their menu. Countless times I have been told they are out of something, half of the time they have already charged my card for said absent items. I can understand if this happens once and a while, but I am starting to get pretty fed up. At 8:30am, a place of business shouldn't be out of anything. Luckily, Starbucks isn't an everyday fix for me. It is more of a monthly or bi-monthly treat. So, when I take time out of my busy day to do something for me, it's rather disappointing to have wasted the 15 minutes I have to only receive half of what I was expecting. Lately my husband and I have taken to coming here to sit and read. Him his work specs and me, just a good book. The drinks are made well, and we've had good luck at finding a place to sit. Normally I'm not one to complain especially when it comes to Starbucks but this location must have newer people working because I was standing in the mobile pickup line and was ignored by not 1, not 2, but 3 people who all looked at me but didn't acknowledge me. I practically had to stand right in front of the girl doing the mobile orders while she did 2 other people orders even though mine was done. When someone finally DID acknowledge me they acted like I was an inconvenience and practically threw my order at me and the coffee I received was horrendous in comparison to the other Starbucks I go to. I ordered the Caramel Ribbon Crunch frap and it just looks like a hot mess. Didn't come with the appropriate frap lid and I wasn't even given a straw or asked if I wanted one. The baristas at the Schendel Ave Starbucks are amazing and always make my drink exactly how I expect it. Don't waste your time going to the one on Stucki, the few extra minutes to get to the other one is so much more worth it and I will strictly be taking my coffee business to the Schendel Starbucks. read more

I totally utilize Starbucks app to collect stars for free drinks. The app allows you to go to your purchase to tip them, but it doesn't allow you to tell them they messed up your order when you're already 20 minutes away and there's no way in the devil's house you're going back. I ordered an Americano with peppermint. Why? Because it tastes like Candy Cane Coffee. It just *tastes* like Christmas. When I finally tasted my coffee it was sans any peppermint. Stopped by here this morning while running errands. Wasn't sure if they were still doing the oatmeal with blue Berry's but turns out they were. Ordered that with a large water and a pupachino for my pup. Wasn't charged for either of those. If I hadn't already had my morning cup of coffee I would have went with my go to vanilla latte. Usually will stop by this Starbucks often and study. Friendly staff but WAY too loud. The staff here are really loud, like seriously I'm not even exaggerating. I will have my headphones full blast trying to study and they are screaming while talking to each other. I hope the staff here see this review and think about customer courtesy because most of the time people are here working. These guys are wonderful. Sadly I can't remember all of their names, but they all remember mine, and my drink order. I come here almost everyday. The staff is always friendly, and my drink is perfect every time. They are fast as well. I never have to wait more than 5 mins for my drink even when the drive thru and line inside are huge.
