The two women there were absolutely great! They helped me out & my best friend. this was our first time there, also our first time in New Jersey together. Definitely enjoyed the croissant & the hot chocolate I ordered. Will come back here if im ever in town again!

I came here today and ordered a spumoni latte which is espresso, pistachio, and mocha. It was my first time trying a combo like this, and it was amazing! I was a bit skeptical about having pistachio flavored coffee, but I highly recommend you try it. It's a small store, so there's no place to sit inside but they do have three tables and chairs outside along the side of the building. They have a few parking spots in the back and a spot on the street too. The employees were friendly, and the service was fast. It's a great local spot in Howard Beach! I'll definitely be back.

This place is such a gem, nice to have a cafe that's beyond the chain coffee shops in the area. The kind of places you're happy to find and know right off the bat it's going to be a favorite. My only sad note is that there is no seating. Cause I'd love to perch up in here for a a bit and enjoy the yummies . I did ask the girl at the counter about seats and she said they have some outdoor chairs and tables when the weather is warmer. That's something looking forward to. The coffee and drinks here are for coffee lovers . Craft concoctions that are downright treats themselves. Note that the proce range is from 3.00 to $6.50 . Where else are you getting quality coffee and specialty drink for that price? Can I just say again how happy I was to find this spot. I had the Shook Night, and a few days later I sent my hubby to pick up a Bullet Proof latte, not disappointed at all. I had a very awake week lol. We also had the Honey Ricotta Toast. Ahhh such a treat. Their toasts is sliced baguette, ugh I was sold instantly. Very generously topped with Ricotta and drizzled with the perfect amount of honey. What did I do to deserve such goodness. Hubby got the ham and cheese croissant and refused to share . He said it was delicious, I'll take his word but still mad at him for not sharing . On the menu- Lunch sandwiches, biscuits and egg frittatas, pastries, cookies and pudding cups. They have gluten free otions as well. I'll be eating my way through everything on this menu. *Parking area on the side and back of shop.

I was initially excited to have Etto Espresso Bar near my house until I realized that neither the pastries nor the coffee are good. The coffee came half spilled (over the croissant on top of that) and I doubt it was the driver's fault as I saw how it was packed. The spinach and goat cheese croissant was super dry and flavorless. Also, why use goat cheese vs. the usual feta? Odd. Sadly won't be trying this place again.

This will be my new coffee spot whenever I'm in the area! 100% prefer this shop than the busy freaking Starbucks down the road. Here's why... Food & drink: So I went with an order of their cold brew to actually try their coffee without all the fluff. Asked for the wrong thing though... I said drip coffee and got a hot coffee, on a hot day. Like an idiot. But the two guys were forgiving and handed me what I really wanted. Lol. Thanks, guys!!! Anyways, got that so I could really taste their coffee to see if I think differently than the negative reviews. And I do think differently. I'm not sure what coffee they were tasting because mine was great! It was strong, had a nutty taste, and was the perfect pick-me-up. My small coffee really got me through a crazy day... so I likey. They have a nice arrangement of pastries. I decided to get the Nutella croissant. Don't regret it at all. It wasn't overwhelmed with Nutella; had a great balance between croissant and Nutella in each bite. Interior: It is quite small, I would say like 3 people can fit in there without feeling like they're in someone's space. Luckily, not a lot of people were there so my stroller fit inside. This is not a complaint though since I'm used to good coffee spots having little inside space. Lol. This isn't inside but on the side of the shop, there is a cute seating area. Perfect for the summer and warm, Fall days! Service: Friendly and quick!!!

Prosciutto di Parma sandwich that was supposed to have arugula.

Spotted this tiny coffee and brunch place and decided to give it a try on an early Sunday afternoon. It's basically a take-away spot for drinks or a quick bite. No seats. I was hungry and already had my coffee a little earlier so I didn't get to try the coffee although the drinks looked great. No prices on menu for food or drinks which I thought was odd. Got the prosciutto di Parma sandwich. 3/10. Baguette was okay but not toasty enough for me. 2 slices of prosciutto, got spinach instead of arugula for whatever reason and barely any Brie cheese was spared. $14 for mostly bread. Not cool. My girl got a mini mushroom onion and cheese frittata. Nice small portion for $5.50. Delicious. 9/10. She also got the Burrata avocado toast. Nice size but for $18 and no meat on it seems a little cray. 8/10. The ladies are nice at the front although communication could be better when distributing change and giving a receipt since you don't have prices listed. Don't recommend the sandwiches if that's how it's done. Otherwise it's a cute and convenient spot for quick bites and drinks.

Just got into town to visit our daughter and this cute little gem in Queens. Tasty drinks and toasts. I had the S'mores iced latte, and it was rich, with a very distinctive flavor profile. I'm an admitted coffee snob, and this totally hit the spot!! Not too sweet, very well balanced. The Pesto burrata toast served on fresh baked baguette was excellent. Baguette layered with freshly chopped tomatoes, onion, dash of garlic, burrata, pesto, and demi glaze, oh delicious!! Will come back when I'm in the area again.

10oz cup, strong regular coffee !!!

Hey yelpers ..... It's a no go for me & the wife totally based on their regular coffee... I'm sure some would disagree but their regular coffee is very strong ... $3.00 bucks for a 10 oz fare price for a coffee joint ... Very clean place very small, very impressive set up in regards to their cold pressed coffee set up ... ( if that's your stick ) Also had a very yummy looking donut & fritter selection out on display would have definitely gone in on a few of those stuffed donuts but our New Year Resolutions you guys know !!! The male barista was very polite & helpful in explaining their drink menu .... Would definitely return again to dry a cappuccino and a stuffed donut ... Thanks, Greg D & family

Tried Etto for the 1st time today . We ordered 2 small capuchinos, 1 croissant with nutella and a sugar pastrie . It came out to about $11. Unfortunately the coffee was not what I expected . The size small is a little bigger then a sample cup . The pastries were nothing special . Won't be returning. UPDATE - (based on owners rude response ) it's called a review since it's based on MY OPINION . I lived in Howard beach all my life , I will be having the best laugh when I no longer see your little coffee shop - OUT OF BUSINESS. I give it 6 months to a year . I rather the coffee at 711. If you had more then 1 keyboard on your iPhone (meaning you were bilingual you would understand " capuchino ". ) but no you're just an arrogant business owner that can't handle an honest review . Like I stated , I will have the best laugh . WOW THIS GETS BETTER . I just received a message from OBVIOUSLY the owners wife . Stating I have no life for wishing his business bad. What a coincidence a small hole in the wall coffee shop with 13 reviews and I get an email 2 days after my review . THIS IS PATHETIC AND SO SAD ! NOT EVERYONE WILL LIKE WHAT YOU SELL ! GET OVER IT! Stop sending your family / friends to message me .

I have never received better customer service than I have at Etto. I had received a bad order through Uber Eats and I decided to message the Etto Instagram account to voice my concern. Frank the owner of Etto reached out to me personally and not only was apologetic towards the situation but went above and beyond to do right by his customer. The food is absolutely delicious and the coffee is the best coffee I've had here in Howard Beach. 10/10 recommend !!!

All the flavors and textures just tied in so well that it didn't feel overwhelming. The vanilla bread was indeed very spongy and had just the right amount of strawberries decorating it. Even though the fruits were glazed, it wasn't with the kind of glaze that's overbearing and sweet; it was quite neutral (as advertised). The 4 stars is only because I don't think one cake warrants a 5 stars; I need to go and experience the hospitality and other cakes first. At the back middle and along the right side of the wall there's seating for about two dozen people at small cafe tables. They are a classic bakery so from what I can tell, they don't carry items that are gluten, dairy or nut free. I've purchased their apple pie, fruit tart, berry napoleon, red velvet and chocolate fudge cakes from this or other locations in the past and they're all solid choices for desserts to share with a larger group, though I find a lot of their cake options to be on the richer side. My most recent encounter with their cakes came in the form of a slice of their seven layer cake $9.95 which is thin layers of yellow cake alternating with chocolate cream mmm pretty tasty, and their caramel cake $9.95 which had a layer of chocolate cake in the middle, sandwiched by caramel cream and white cake on either side.
