The service has been quick and accurate both times I've been in. Unfortunately both times the Wi-Fi didn't work. My device connected, then there was no internet connection. The primary reason I go to Starbucks is to get some work done on occasions when I can't work from my home office. The first time, power was out at home. Easy fix, just go to another location. The second time, I had dropped my car at Clifford's Car Care and needed to get some work at Starbucks done while my transmission was being serviced. Good lord, it was Thanksgiving afternoon and all I wanted was a little pick me up after a lunch feast. Ordered a matcha lemonade, got to the drive thru window, received an ice matcha latte. Waited over 30 mins and still received the wrong damn drink. She made a green tea lemonade. NOT THE SAME THING! I literally and specifically told her before she remade my drink that it's matcha inside a lemonade. She said yeah green tea lemonade is the same thing. NO ITS NOT. She also made my husbands drink wrong. Asked her for 8 pumps of classic sweetener in a passion fruit tea, there was absolutely no sweetener. Also, don't give me short straws for a venti cup. Third time was definitely the charm for me when visited this particular Starbucks. I had went to the Target down the street to pick up a gift card and thought I could quench my frap needs in one step. Lo and behold, when I was finally waited on, they couldn't make my strawberries and cream frap because they had run out of the ingredients for it. Darn it. I proceeded to drive west on 1960 to get my car washed and decided to swoop into another Starbucks. The line wasn't long, but the Baristas were moving in slow motion and I was pressed for time. Dang it! After washing my car, I decided to find the new nail salon that I bookmarked in Yelp and see if I could get a quick pedi. Wala! I ran into this giant Starbucks! The parking lot is configured a little weird with a bunch of curves, but plenty of parking. Would highly suggest that one enters this Starbucks from 1960 sue to a lot of residential traffic from Timber Forest. Upon entering, you know its Starbucks with its signature dark wood color palette. This one seemed much more spacious than most with a huge dining table area that could seat 8-10 people and tables sprinkled around the interior. You could easily spend all day here soaking up wifi waves--if only the Baristas were a little more welcoming. I didn't get greeted until they were ready to take my order, which was about 5 minutes after I entered and stood at the register to order. I don't know why people don't know that a greeting will go along for a customer. I use to work in fast food. I know it gets hectic, but acknowledging a customer is customer service 101. I probably would have gave this place 5 stars if it wasn't for that incident. Mind you, it wasn't busy, so I take it as a ego trip these baristas were having that day. Minus two stars because they should know there's a Starbucks on every corner and not being courteous to customers will make people pass them up to get to the next one on any given day. This Starbucks location has unfortunately gone very down hill. I have been contemplating writing this review for weeks, because most of the girls (boys, they's & gays) here are so sweet. But yesterday morning solidified my need to write this, not to be rude or attack anyone, but in hopes that management will read it and consider making some much needed changes to how things are operated. I have been coming here every day (yes, 7 days a week most weeks) for 3 years. The drive thru line has always been long, but it used to move quickly, as the employees were very efficient and you can tell they were experienced and trained well. For the past several months, however, the line has been long and moves so slowly that I can't even stop in the mornings before work, as the wait will likely make me late to work. Not only that, my order is more often than not, wrong. I make the instructions very clear when I'm ordering. Most of the girls know me and can repeat my order without my even telling them, that's how often I come. However, the person taking the order is often times not the one making it, so even tho they know my order by heart, it's still made wrong by someone else. I hate holding up the line or being difficult, so most of the time I just take it the way they've made it. It's just insanely frustrating to spend 7.69 a day on ONE coffee, just to have it consistently made incorrectly. First world problems, I know. I feel silly even complaining about coffee. Yesterday morning, however, was just unacceptable. I waited at the order box thingy for well over 10 minutes before my order was even taken. There were only 3 cars ahead of me. In total, I was in line for 30 minutes and guess what? MY DRINK WAS WRONG. I always ask for extra Carmel drizzle (I'm outing myself here) and sweet cream cold foam. There was zero Carmel and zero cold foam. When I told the girl there wasn't any cold foam on it, she looked me dead in the face and said "yes there is" ummm....Am I being punked? Instead I just said ok and went to take it from her anyway, but that's when I noticed there was no Carmel. Again, extra Carmel drizzle is 60 cents. Sooo if I'm paying for it, call me crazy, but I want it. So they remade it. This time with so much Carmel drizzle that I couldn't even drink it. I just took it and left and threw it away when I got home. I wasn't about to hold the line up any longer. Soooo I waited in line for 30 mins, paid 7.69 and my drink was made incorrectly twice. Back in the day when the line was exceptionally long, they would hand you the drink and say "this one's on us, so sorry for the wait." or even if they don't give it to you for free they used to at least say sorry. And that small gesture goes a very long way. They do nothing of the sort now. I know in the grand scheme of things, $230 dollars a month isn't gonna make or break Starbucks, but that's roughly how much I spend EVERY month at Starbucks. It would just be nice to be able to count on my drink being made correctly. It's not the workers fault. Something like this 1000% falls on ownership/management. It's important to equip your employees with the tools necessary to do their jobs correctly and efficiently. I've never been one to be rude to service workers, even when I'm frustrated, but many people are rude and disrespectful to them and they don't deserve it. ANYhoo that's my two cents. This is by far the worst Starbucks in the Humble/Atascocita area. The service is slow and subpar. I have had 3 of my last 10 orders messed up. I guess they do not understand the difference between grande and venti, but they will charge you for venti and give you a grande and then ask you what is wrong. Don't waste your time here. The one at 1960 & Townsend and the one at Atascocita & Will Clayton are much better and the access is easier. read more

This is the Starbucks I frequent most as it's on the way to work each morning & has a drive thru for convenience. I visit Atleast 3-4 times weekly and most recently, as in 4 weeks ago, there's only been ONE time out of all of those visits where my wait time was less than 10 minutes. I'm assuming that they are extremely understaffed, and while one or two times in a month is understandable, being 90% understaffed is absolutely unacceptable in order to deliver excellent customer service. They are usually apologetic, but again, it's understandable if it's infrequent but it's not. It's ALL. THE. TIME which, at this point, becomes negligence on behalf of management at this location. This is the slowest drive thru line I've ever sat in for Starbucks. 30 min with 5 cars ahead of us. Not an isolated incident, it's every. single. time. Will not return to this location again. We waited in the drive through line for 30 minutes on Thursday around noon. There were 3 cars ahead of us when we pulled in. I thought perhaps there was just an issue with one vehicle in particular but as we got closer I noticed every vehicle was staying at the window for a very long time. Once we pulled up the guy working didn't acknowledge the insane wait time, just said that'll be $10.58... I was like SURELY you're not expecting people to pay after waiting this long? He was dumfounded and got his manager who was totally oblivious to anything going on with the drive through ... she said "well I don't think your drinks (an iced tea and a iced latte) should be free!" I said I don't think we should wait half an hour for two drinks... she mumbled to her co worker "whatever, comp them". I would have no issue paying but it's the principle of the entire situation. Had he said hello and sorry for that long wait we're getting behind in here or anything along those lines that would have been acceptable. But no apology no nothing. Probably the worst Starbucks I've ever been to. Although they are nice, they are clearly very understaffed and are not good at working under pressure. They had to close the entire store and only have the drive through open because of how understaffed they were, and it wraps around the building and traps people in the parking lot!!! I never leave reviews because I get it, everyone has a bad day and I don't take how people in customer service treat me personally, but today, I do. After going back and forth about leaving a review, my girlfriend said I should do it so here I am. A few days ago I stopped in this Starbucks with my girlfriend and I mobile ordered our drinks just to make it easier for everyone. We get off to get our drinks, and as I walk up to the counter and my girlfriend goes to the restroom a barista says "umm that's a women's restroom" I stopped dead in my tracks and said "excuse me she's a woman." Not an apology to my girlfriend. Nothing. Just an eye roll. They had also messed up our drinks so I ask if there was a way I could get it remade or even just buy another one? And someone in the back mumbles under their breath "you people are always like this" I said "excuse me?" She goes on to say "you heard me" I ask to speak to a manager come to find out she is the manager, "Aide" is her name. Safe to say we will not be returning to this location after the homophobic comments made to us by a manager someone who is supposed to be setting an example for their employees. read more

This has got to be one of the worst Starbucks locations. Made an online order thru the app and got here about 5 mins after placing order. Watched them repeatedly skip over my order to make new orders from walk ins. I get the customer is right there but you are giving me poor service when I have to wait 10 mins for you to make my order. The whole point of the app is to skip the line and have a simple way of ordering. I finally get my latte and it is half foam, burnt to cinders coffee. I frequent Starbucks a lot and this location is down the street. I often do mobile order and run in and pick up. When I do, I'm never greeted or spoken to and have to flag an employee down to get my drink. Today at 530 I decided to just do drive thru thinking I would get thru quick with no issues. It took 20 min from the time I ordered my drink to get to the window. Then another 15 to get my drink correctly. One drink. The employees apologized for the wait, but no one explained and seemed sympathetic about why it took over 30 min to get one drink. This is about my 3rd most frequented location. I usually go through the drive thru because it is quicker, tho definitely not the quickest by any means. I try to avoid going inside but today I wanted to reload my card with cash so I figured it would be easier. After loading my card I ordered 2 drinks. Waited about 3 mins, went to use the restroom and by that time my bf had his drink, but it was another 5+ mins before my cold brew with cold foam was done. This is not the first time orders placed after me were fulfilled before I got my not-so-hard-to-make drink. Frappuccinos were made before I got my drink. And to top it off my foam was not even made right. No caramel in it, just blended foamy milk.
