I stopped at this Starbucks on my way to Mount Evans this morning. I love how spacious this location is. Plenty of seating and it's not too noisy. I can tell they do a lot of business at this location. The barista who took my order was very friendly. I was also impressed that they had Espresso Roast brewed. I rarely see this one brewed at Starbucks anymore and I've been to a lot of locations. Can't wait to return here! Check this one out if you haven't already. read more

While driving back to Denver after seeing the continental divide in Loveland Pass, we stopped in this Starbucks to get a drink for ourselves. I got a caramel macchiato and it definitely standed out from other ones I've had from Starbucks. (I've had some that have tasted burnt, I'm no coffee expert so not sure why that happened.) Along with a chocolate chip cookie which is always good from Starbucks. My grandson got the mocha cookie crumble frappe which was so good. It was like chocolatey cookie bliss. If you love chocolate and cookies, you've gotta try it. He also got a cookies and cream cake pop which is always good from any Starbucks location you go to. This is the most modern Starbucks I've ever been to, why cant they have them this nice in NC? Also our good came out quick with great customer service. Bravo Starbucks! read more

Why do workers at Starbucks expect to be tipped before the order is even done??? I guess they expect to be tipped just for existing. And shame on you if you don't tip. They'll make sure you know they're not happy by shorting you on the drink. My venti shaken espresso was an inch and a half low once the foam settled. I am so sick and tired of this expectation of a tip without earning it. Here's a tip for you, Starbucks. Bad management and employees were not reading back entire order. I asked politely to read it back and she verbally said it correctly but I noticed on the receipt she put something else. Took 30 minutes to get the drink with the wrong order. No apology was given, and after being asked politely to remake the drink since it was not what I ordered, there was complete attitude and no sense of teamwork between the employees. I was not the only one in the same boat, there was another client as well. They need to do better. read more

I was very surprised to see less than five star reviews for this Starbucks. It was definitely had the friendliest service of any Starbucks I have visited (and that's a lot of Starbucks locations!). I stopped here three times while in Idaho Springs, and my drinks were always made well, and the food was prepared as expected. The counter personnel were always very friendly when I visited, and I had three different people take my orders. The space has lots of varied seating options and the restrooms were clean. read more

This Starbux isn't really all that much better or different from any other version execpt for the location. I LOVE pulling into Idaho Springs, stopping here to grab a latte and to hang out checking the fast moving river behind the shop. Your standard Starbucks experience food wise. I ordered a latte and a pesto breakfast panini. It's right next to the freeway so very convenient to get on and off while driving through. There's a lot of space to sit and chat; however what did not go well with me was the cleanliness. It was wet all over with water beneath the couch. Not returning at this location. read more

This Starbucks sits perfectly right off the interstate and the right spot for getting a quick drink before heading to Frasier, CO. The only downfall is no access to the stunning dining area; all made of wooden décor and mirrors. It's my favorite Starbucks thus far. I'm currently chuckling at the idea that my friend's son was playing Pokemon Go and found a little animated easter egg at this Starbucks location. After ordering a few coffees and my favorite Pink Drink Small, we enjoyed the outside view of the mountains. We were in Idaho Springs after all. I'm not a frequent consumer of Starbucks, however my friend used her Gold Card Membership with this order and received some well deserved points. The customer service is very delightful here, super patient and well rounded conversation. I did enjoy the interaction the most. read more

As many other reviewers have mentioned this location is right off the interstate heading west so there will be a lot of traffic both coming and going but that didnt seem to affect the level of service here. As we drove in, the parking lot was full and the drive thru had a line of cars around the building, as we waited in line, I was expecting a long wait, but it actually went pretty fast. We placed our order and everything was smooth and all the items were correct. The prices are more expensive than at other locations, but this is a mountain town location and that is to be expected. I rarely go to Starbucks, but when I do, I like to "treat" myself. The service is prompt, inviting and friendly. The ladies bathroom, when I visit it, was kept cleaned. Yes this establishment is tiny, inside to seat but I say it can fit like about 10 to 12 seats comfortably. They also have a little patio with some seating outside. The parking space can be limited but it doable for us since we came it before the crowd. If we come back to Idaho Springs, and I need that "Starbucks" fix, I dont mind returning. Nice big seating area inside. Very roomy! Looked good! Very Convenient from the highway (I 70). Nice outdoor seating with beautiful view of the mountains in both sides! No one was at the register when I went to order, and no one said anything to me like 'be right there' or 'just a minute! I just stood there. Finally, someone walked up and took my order. The person was friendly. Thankfully, this locations accept rewards here and let me order my free birthday drink (which can only be used on your birthday). This Location accepts the mobile online app order, so that comes in handy especially if you're just doing a quick Starbucks on the go the drive-through it's quick and easy to maneuver through unfortunately the end store was closed it's understandable due to the Covid. True, I usually am a fan of most SBs but when they do it right, which they mostly do, I have to give them 4 stars. They made a custom drink just right, the espresso flavor was right on. The place was busy, but clean and organized and the baristas were friendly. Genuine smiles and meaningful conversation. This SB is much newer than a nearby highway location and truly full service, with a Drive Thru, at an easy off/easy on exit. Perfect for a trip to or from the mountains for skiing or any other endeavor. This was my first time here and certainly not my last. read more

Starbucks isn't usually my first place to stop for caffeination (I prefer to patronize the mom and pops), but I have to remark on this particular spot because I had a celeb sighting here yesterday. Yes, while in line waiting to cash out my sister's Starbucks gift card and get some caffeine and sustenance for our drive to Steamboat, we spotted Travis Stork. Now, some of you might be saying "Who?" but I would direct you to wiki to refresh your memory. After some awkward "I'm your biggest fan" ramblings, I got back in line for a peppermint mocha and breakfast sando, and we went on our way. This location is generally always slammed with ski traffic, especially on the weekends during the season, so just be prepared to wait for whatever you order. And be patient. I was able to swing through the drive-thru and pick up not only a fabulously comforting salted caramel mocha, but a grande-sized cup of very hot water for me to warm up a baby bottle for my munchkin in the carseat.
