My aunt and I have made it a point to stop in every-time we're in Indy, and have never been disappointed. I typically stick to their iced chai, which is very refreshing and one of my favorites. It is the sort of place that feels special the moment you walk in. A lot of people rave about the beautiful space, and quite right too. The shop has a gorgeous, old-world feel in a historic Fountain Square building, plenty of seating, and a lovely outdoor area that is very dog friendly. The staff always boast a delightful disposition that makes you want to smile and enjoy the rest of your day as well. As for the coffee, I love the iced Mayan Mocha. It is like a mocha with a kick and extra flavour depth, and it is absolutely delicious. The dark chocolate, honey, cinnamon, and cayenne give it a little warmth and complexity without losing the joy of a proper iced coffee treat. They also have some really high-end pastries to choose from. I love the lemon loaf, and some of the more complex, unique pastries make it feel a bit more elevated than the average coffee stop. It is a bit challenging to find parking but there are a few spots in front. I parked down the street and walked which is always an option. They have various food items but I absolutely LOVE their peanut butter energy balls! In fact that is why I came to this location as this is where the magic happens. They make them here and send them to other Tinker locations! They are the perfect blend of savory and a tad sweet and go super well with their coffee and/or London Fog tea. Yum!
