This Bucks is on point. At least the past year and a half or so. I've never had an issue. The employees are friendly and hard workers. This location is always busy so you may have to wait a bit for your order. No big deal. The best thing about this location is the consistency of their drinks. They always taste the same and are delicious. Other locations in Jax very inconsistent. Like the McCormick and Monument location. I stopped going there. The one on Beach Blvd by the Goodwill is pretty good. I spend way too much money at the Bucks. read more

I will preface this by saying that I do love Starbucks. Unfortunately, I've been let down one too many times at this location. I am a huge proponent of the mobile ordering feature through the app, especially in the morning on my way to work. Being able to bypass the lines in the morning is a huge convenience for me. For the longest time, I never had any issues with mobile ordering, however, for the last three times that I came to pick up my drink, it was not ready. At first I thought I was ordering too late. So I then decided to order earlier to give them at least 15 minutes to make it. The app was even telling me "Your drink may be ready before you arrive, are you sure you want to order now?" The first and second time it happened, I was annoyed but didn't say anything. The barista's were sweet and apologized for the delay both times. The third time it happened, I was acknowledged but then the barista proceeded to chat while slowly making my drink. She would pause for long periods to look up and respond to the person she was talking to. At one point, she was just holding my drink that was already finished, it just needed the lid. She held it in her hand to finish talking to someone else. I ended up being late for work that day and haven't ordered from them since. read more

I have the best experiences at Starbucks. However, this particular one did not have the usual charm. Not a single welcome or a smile. Although a tad small, the place was real clean and tidy. Once acknowledged the service was very good. My order made to perfection, there was no long wait and every option I asked for included. The ambient atmosphere and the lack of a crowd allowed me to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the outside world. No real complaints here. Why must the service be so horrifying? I am convinced managers and business owners purposely hire ANY BODY to prevent this side of town from flourishing. Not only did I have to wait over 15 minutes as the only person in the lobby, the guy placed a drink on the TAKE OUT COUNTER and of course I assumed it was my drink. I go to grab it and he literally yells "that's not yours!" so loud to the point I felt nervous. Even another worker, who was a woman, gave him a shocked look! That is freaking disgusting and I hope women workers are not getting abused by him. I just wanted my coffee, and after waiting so long as the only one left in there, I had no clue I was grabbing someone else's drink. Why not train your staff or hire someone that has studied customer service? The comfort in making customers startled is weird! I am a woman and a TALL MAN yelling at me feels scary and nearly abusive. Differing personalities and perspectives should ALWAYS be considered when approaching customers. You do not know someone's life! And to be yelled like that, by a man, was really triggering for me! I am not saying he IS abusive. However, I am saying that AS A WOMAN that has SURVIVED ABUSE from men, him yelling at me reminds me of what I have been through and it feels abusive. I do not deserve to be taken aback to such crippling times by an angry worker at Starbucks, that is SO unfair!! Close-by to my house, this Starbucks is your basic run of the mill location. It provides counter seating which is cool. Service is great here and it does get busy since this is a bit of a central location for the Arlington area. I usually frequent this location when I need a quick and expensive unnecessary coffee drink on the go. read more

While I have seen this model a few times, this location is the first time I remember seeing a SBUX with the counter seating. It's also where I really learned the team likes to get creative with their own personal blends. I can't remember what they called it, but the barista behind the machine that day made me a sample of a chai tea latte with white mocha sauce in it. Divine! This location can have a line to the door in the morning rush, but when you go in at an off-peak time there's plenty of room to get around. The condiment counter was well stocked, slightly disorganized and messy but surely it was from a small rush. I preordered two iced vanilla lattes with almond milk for my friend and I before heading to Disney World yesterday. Both coffees were ready when I walked in and everyone was very sweet. About half way to Orlando I started experiencing horrible cramping. Probably ten times worse than menstrual cramps. They were so bad tears were filling my eyes. Once we got on the ferry to Magic Kingdom, it was so bad i felt like I was going to throw up. Then the next thing I know my friend is waking me up. I had fainted for the first time in my life. After getting my color back and drinking some water I went to the bathroom and then it hit me... I'm pretty sure the barista made a mistake when making my coffee. Starbucks are the same all over the globe. Ok this started out as just a tip, but it's true! Yelp thought I should add additional info. I have been fortunate in my life and have traveled most of Europe. One thing for sure the coffe in many of these countries leave me cold. So while I laugh at the people lined up at the Arches in Paris or Rome they now probably laugh at me running into Starbucks for my morning starter. Paris, London, Rome, and Turkey. Yep and it tastes just like home. Same decore, young hip Barista' s and all the flavors I need. Take me to the local restaurants I'll try any food once, just don't screw with my coffee. One of the big differences that was noted, the outside patio area is much larger in Europe than any I have encountered in the states. Got a late night Venti Caramel Iced Coffee here last night, and it was one of the tastiest iced coffee I've had in Jacksonville.
