I've been coming here since they opened about 18 years ago, and I still enjoy visiting. The staff is very friendly and personable, often trying to remember customers' names. I always get a positive vibe, which is essential for any coffee shop! The manager, Dena, is always very friendly, and the baristas, Blake, Mia, Angelina, Laura, Luther and others are fantastic. I prefer coming here because there's no drive thru, which makes it less chaotic. I wish they had more comfortable chairs to stay and relax longer. They also have nice outdoor patio tables under a palm tree, which I love. The food is consistently good, just like elsewhere, Starbucks. If you stay there, I highly suggest using a house mug. I tried the new Sugar Free Protein Latte. I ordered I'm the App. Walked into the Bartram location. It's big and staffed. Nice music playing in the background. Lots of tables open and folks working and chatting. Employees are super friendly. The barista took the time to explain the amount of protein in the drinks. It tasted the same. The service is always nice and pleasant. When you walk in it doesn't matter how busy they are the employees will greet you. The music and vibe is pretty chill. This particular location of Starbucks is conveniently located right next to Baptist Medical Center and is in the same building at the Applebee's. It is also not too far from Interstate 95, so it is convenient for travelers of that highway. It was also close to the hotel that I stayed at, which is what brought me here. Honestly, coffee is overpriced and the total experience was rather underwhelming. If you are familiar with Starbucks, you know what you will be getting. If it wasn't so close to my hotel, I would have sought elsewhere. It was literally a two-minute walk from the Courtyard Marriott where I was staying. I really like this location of Starbucks. They have some of the friendliest staff I've seen at a Starbucks location; greeting people as they enter the store and quickly filling orders. I have ordered in person and via app, and service has always been on point. The location is nice too, with ample parking in the parking lot. The store is laid out nicely from where you place your order to where you pick up your order. There is plenty of seating inside and out at this location. I love getting my coffee here, the baristas are nice and very fast with making your drinks. My favorite is the special drink consists of Ice Venti cup with 3 pumps of mocha and espresso. This Starbucks is such a great location! The only downfall is that they do not have a drive-through. It is located directly in front of Baptist South hospital which has proven itself very convenient for while in the hospital or after doctors appointments! My last two encounters they are included a flat white and a vanilla latte. Both were rude to perfection and the barista's were friendly with smiles and great attitude. I went to this Starbucks while visiting the area. Wanted a breakfast sandwich and cold brew, and also wanted a place to sit to do some work for a few hours. I found this location on Yelp and went in at 8:30 on a Friday morning. Contrary to the review from a few months ago, I was happy to find that they had my breakfast sandwich available (sausage egg cheese). I do understand the frustration of when Starbucks is out of sandwiches, which has happened on occasion at locations in other states (even pre covid). So I was compelled to make it known that this location did have them. Hopefully that reviewer will have better luck next time at this location. One thing to note is that the indoor seating was closed temporarily. The barista at the register was kind of enough to explain this politely and offer alternatives in the area for extended hour seating. I decided to get my order here and be on my way. Also of note, there were a ton of mobile orders that I could observe while waiting for my order. This Starbucks is very close to my office making it very convenient. I have ordered in store and through the mobile app and have never had an issue with an order. I have ordered between 1 and 4 drinks and haven't had any issues. I can order my drink just 3 minutes before I get there and it is always up on the counter waiting for me!! This place is addicting especially since I work next to it. I walk to the Starbucks at least 3 times a week (of course I kept forgetting to check-in at times). The staff is nice and always prepare my order correct. I usually get the Green Tea Latte, Vanilla Bean Frappacino, Regular hot green tea, peppermint mocha (seasonal), and now at this time they introduced the Tuxedo Mocha. Very delicious and love the taste of both the dark chocolate, mocha, and I believe vanilla is in there too. Instead of the normal milk, I get it with heavy cream because it's less sweet. Lasted me a few hours which I needed to stay focus on my work. It's also in a very good area since it's located near business buildings, a hotel and hospital. Sadly this Starbucks is not convenient to my morning commute, otherwise I would frequent it more often. Especially since they carry items not found at the store closest to my work. Today I opted to try a cold foam iced cappuccino, my first time trying this tasty beverage. I didn't know foam perfection could be possible on an iced cap, but it worked out wonderfully for me. I did a mobile order, and my drunk was up quickly, I'd say I'm less than the eight minutes my app had quoted me. The bariastas moved the line quickly, and there was not much a line when I walked in. The entire store was clean, including the bathrooms. I'm thinking hat may become part of my future reviews: "but how does the bathroom look?" HAHA. Now normally the wait time can be longer than normal, but considering how big the store is, I wouldn't call it excessive. Mobile ordering can go a long way towards cutting down on your wait time, since you can opt to stay in the car, versus standing around. Just food for thought. read more

If you are a Starbucks fan, this one should be on your bucket list. The location is unique right off 95, and conveniently beside an Applebee's and close to Baptist South. Pace/Feel: Relaxing yet up tempo, perfect for conversations, studying, or recreation. Atmosphere: Many Starbucks are "L" shaped, this one is square, which enhances the open concept aesthetics. Comfort: Plenty of seating inside and some seating outside. The service, drinks, and food here are really good, but be careful with a too exotic drink using the online service app. Luckily at this Starbucks, the barista informed me they were out of stock and gave me a free drink card to make up for it. ~Try doing this sometimes, making an exotic order using the app while in the store. Just to see what they say or do if they do not have the supplies to make it. (any online service)~ This location is one of the very few spots in town in which you can order your Applebee's and Starbucks online reasonably at the same time. [Recommend Applebee's is done first (slower)]. If timed right you can get the best of both worlds fresh and ready to eat at the same time. I give this Starbucks two thumbs up, always clean, always friendly (w/ one goofy barista). No drive thru though and you need a compact car to park beside the building. Lastly, keep in mind the big weekend pay-per-view days at Applebee's (parking) in the evening which could potentially take up too many spots. read more

This was my first time at this particular Starbucks store and I was pleasantly pleased with the layout. It appears it has some updated aesthetics compared to some of the other stores in the Jacksonville area. This may be due to its location being near Baptist south on old Saint Augustine Road where there are numerous businesses popping up and the residential area has boomed over the last decade. This wasn't my planned destination as I'm not a fan as of late. However, I remain objective and curious when it's one of my only options when there aren't others presented. The layout was modern and the door cling advertisement screamed Blonde roast is the rage of the moment inside. Outside was clean and inside was equally impressive. I ducked inside to get out of 5 o'clock rush hour traffic on a Tuesday to just hear some Spotify coffeehouse tunes and nose around the clearance wall ( all the Ho hum clearance offerings and I purchased a full priced Swell 20oz bottle). I ordered a grande Smoked Butterscotch (yummo) and tried to ask the cashier about her day and give a compliment to the store. She gave a sheepish grin and playbook pleasantry with a smile and I proceeded to the pick up waiting area. I did overhear a return guest who bought something earlier lodge a complaint but the partner handled it with great professionalism and undivided attention. I was assuming she was the manager. The noise level was quite low and most people were in their zone except me checking out the digs, the service and taking pictures of which seemed of interest to the order taker and a fellow partner. I flashed the same low wattage smile and grin she gave me and proceeded to check the floor for debris and the over-the-counter area for cleanliness. A-ok! The guy who prepared my drink called my name and I took my drink. He had the appearance of a zombie and the personality of a bed pan. I said, "thank you" and he wasn't reciprocal but gave me a blank millennial stare and proceeded to make other coffee concoctions. He lowered the 5 star to a 4. They were going so well. I got in, and it was packed, but still, the line was shorter than that of the hotel's breakfast bar (not included with the stay, mind you). Even though they were, in fact, packed, the line ran smoothly and quickly... the cashier was nice, got my name right on the first try and passed the correct order to the baristas. I got my chorizo and egg sandwich. Decent, not great. And my sausage sandwich. Very nice. Both at the perfect level pf juiciness and temperature. I got into my car. Took a sip of the cappuccino... Someone didn't clean something well enough. There's a minty taste in my coffee strong enough to notice it, but faint enough to know it isn't a mixup in the order. And I've been dreaming of a good coffee, I've been drinking for two days now the hotel room's excuse for a coffee and something in the office that can't really be confused for coffee. I was entering the final leg of my Saturday trip from Enterprise, AL to Melbourne, FL. Had just gotten onto I-95 when I realized I needed to caffienate up a little bit. This Starbucks did just fine - there was a bit of confusion when I ordered my chai latte with another Tim who ordered a similar drink (but looked nothing like moi), but staff handled the situation with aplomb. Over 20 minutes to get two orders but the guy who came in with list from a store after we waited the first ten minutes got his order. Asked staff got told it was coming up. Well I can start by saying it's in a very convenient location. I'm not really a coffee person but everyone talks about Starbucks nonstop at the office. I decided to come here and get a Frap and I must say it was really good. The staff at this location is very friendly and didn't mind when it took me forever to figure out exactly what I wanted. They also gave me good suggestions on what they thought I would like best and their input was much needed and very helpful. The store is clean and well put together and I must say that this was a trip that I enjoyed and might just make again some day. The only thing I wish was better is that the food is ready the same time; I usually have to wait for the food even though the drink is ready. They did ask politely, but you still shouldn't enforce it when the state of Florida doesn't have a mask mandate.
