Man this Starbucks location is horrific. I came here one morning before heading to my gate for an Ice Shaken Expresso along with a pastry. The milk options were extremely limited; only whole or soy milk. I prefer oat milk and reluctantly almond milk. As far as the pastry is concerned, I ordered a blueberry muffin. The wait time is awful. There's a lot of people gathered up and forming a large crowd in order to obtain your order. On top of that, the employees show a lack of enthusiasm and are not friendly. The menu is set and fairly consistent regardless of the location, although some locations do offer more or less. So, essentially, it boils down to staff, service, cleanliness, and layout Frankly, it must be very difficult working at an airport coffee shop. People are anxious, uneasy, and often in a rush. I ordered two mocha Frappuccinos with an extra espresso shot each. The person taking orders was friendly enough yet somewhat curt. They seemed to have good backup staff, and the product was moving well. I did detect a bit of confusion as to who was doing what. There was a good number of people waiting. My order came up in ample time, and frankly, it was exactly what you expected from Starbucks, all rather routine and ordinary. The two female employees working 5/8/25 @ 6:30am JetBlue terminal 5 by gate 500 need to be firstly retrained in making drinks and/or fired, I been ordering iced caramel macchiatos upside down, extra caramel for years and never have it looked like what I received it was dark brown colored like expresso and no caramel whatsoever. No garnishing drizzle, nothing. It looked like a drink someone would make on their first day but made wrong. Secondly, the attitude on both women. The first girl I told her that my drink looks wrong and it OBVIOUSLY has no caramel. But if you follow directions. EXTRA CARAMEL upside down. The color was dark brown. A caramel macchiato is light brown in color anybody who drinks coffee would know that. So this girl gave me an attitude and said I was wrong and it's supposed to look like that, and wouldn't fix it. The coworker working behind her instead of doing her job was instigating, looked at me and smirked and rolled her eyes. Real ghetto-like but what would you expect? I was flying to Michigan and I NEEDED a coffee. I could see that the line was very long and slow, but honestly what do you expect? The person who took our order was really kind and got our orders right. I ordered an iced tea for my sister, a latte for her boyfriend, and a matcha latte for myself. The only thing that I would have changed about the experience was that they added toasted vanilla in one of the lattes instead of regular vanilla which is definitely not a big deal. This location does so well for the number of people they have on their line every day. I would love to give this location a shoutout for how fast and efficient everyone is. Most aren't looking for much; just a solid cup of something strong served with a smile. And this place can't even do that. After countless visits, I've pretty much noted: * The wait: Whether it's in line or for a drink, people are constantly waiting. I've seen some people abandon receiving their coffee because their names are called over the intercom to board. (#2). Which leads me to... * The staff is slow: Even when they're hustling and bustling with a full staff, they somehow are wildly inefficient about getting stuff out and quick. * Mishaps are common: Have I walked away with someone else's drink or found mine to be slightly off? This has happened to me almost all the time. When in doubt, check your drinks before leaving. * Every day is a case of the Mondays: It's all about attitude and one can get plenty of it here. Maybe it's ranting about all the other aforementioned points that has gotten me some serious 'tude from the staff. Even if I say nothing, I somehow still end up here. Essentially don't come here in a hurry and have low expectations. This was not a mere inconvenience -- it was a profoundly disheartening encounter that soured the final moments of our trip. I've been to many airport Starbucks, but this one was alright. The person taking my order seemed very rushed and annoyed, but she did take the time to make sure she got my order right so that's fine I guess. Their drinks are standard for Starbucks. This location is inside of the Jet Blue terminal as soon as you enter the hall to the left. I appreciate it in having the option to use the app to order, but the accuracy is nowhere near on point. Many items were sold out in the app, but available in person. It took 40 minutes to make an iced espresso drink and they even forgot the syrup/sauce, when pickup time waa 10-15 minutes. I didn't complain because they were swamped and the manager wasn't helping at all. In-person orders seemed to take precedent. I'll take that into account next time. read more

This Starbucks is located in terminal 5 which primarily services JetBlue flights. The line here is usually insanely long especially when I arrive early in the morning on a red-eye flight. On my last visit, one of the employees was shouting which items that they did not have. They were out of cream and breakfast sandwiches, so I couldn't get my usual caramel cream cold brew and sandwich. I ended up getting a Caffé Americano. I skipped that long line and placed my order on the mobile app. That saved me a lot of time from not having to wait in that line! read more

Worst Starbucks ever! I went up and said explicitly I wanted to use my stars for a hot tea and I made sure they would accept it for the tea I was getting. The cashier said yes and insisted I scan my card but she charged me the full amount without applying my stars. Then this other lady said that I didn't have enough points IN THEIR OLD SYSTEM and they couldn't update it. I was really upset that they didn't tell me ahead of time and pushed me to scan before I was informed. I had a previous situation where I went to another Starbucks and they didn't accept my OLD rewards so I had to switch over, so to lose out on MORE stars BECAUSE of the old system is just frustrating. Also my egg bites came smushed and a little crunchy on the sides. It was fine, I like crunchy, but hard to cut through using a plastic fork. The icing on the cake was when the other lady said there's nothing they can do and then began muttering about how some customers just want to escalate things. Umm????? It moved quickly. I ordered a tall vanilla latte with coconut milk. It cost $5.50. Yes, it costs more here than your regular Starbucks - people be trippin' in their reviews about how expensive it is. It's an airport. Everything is marked up. I mean a bottle of water is like $3 or $4 at the airport. By far the most unorganized Starbucks within an airport, I've ever visited. I simply ordered a Grande French Vanilla Misto. The cashier asked me do I want that hot or cold. That was a red flag right there, that she had no idea on what type of drink I was asking for. Nevertheless, she rung me up and I paid for the drink. I waited nearly 15 mins for this drink...and of course the drink wasn't made. It was semi busy...so I understand things happen, but come on, a customer is standing there, no acknowledgement at all, in regards to "hey did you receive your drink yet/what did you order"... I finally got a young lady's attention. She asked me what kinda drink I was waiting for. I told her, she didn't even know how to make French Vanilla, yet alone if the milk had to be steamed or not. Restaurant or quicker...Jamba Juice, Baked by Melissa, Cheeseburger Cheeseburger--I like the name ...via a classic SNL sketch w/the great ones.
