Because Starbucks are standardized on their drinks and food, I reviewed here the parking, store, and service. Stopped at this location after an early high school cross-country invitational. Because we were headed inside to order and hangout, I noted the location of the drive-through and parked towards the Lake Mary Blvd. side and away from the entrance to the drive-through. The inside has ample seating for groups, with a combination of individual seating, long tables, and smaller tables with versatile seating. The mobile pickup area is immediately to your left when you walk in which makes it easy to locate, pick up, and leave. The service was very good on this morning. Orders were filled quickly and correctly. The baristas successfully multi-tasked and sped up the process towards the eventual finished drink; and they were pleasant and friendly throughout. The long lines shortened quicker than most stores I've frequented, and I'd have no hesitation in returning here. Last observation: The drive-thru lane was backed up into the parking lot when left. This was an unacceptable experience. This Starbucks is usually a refreshing treat after a nice long day. I had a frustrating experience and it was NOT worth the money. Here's some things that occurred. 1. They were out of lemonade at 9 am. 2. A worker recommend a DISGUSTING drink that was over 6 dollars. 3. My croissant did not come out for thirty minutes and when I approached the pickup they hadn't even made it... it makes me think- are they just trying to take my money? 4. Starbucks is pretty standard across all its locations as far as menu, cleanliness and service. But this one in particular is always VERY busy. There's not another location nearby so this one is always busy with customers. However, they are still very fast in making your drinks whether you order inside, on the app or the drive thru. As any other Starbucks, this place is crazy in the morning. To avoid getting caught in traffic or waiting longer than expected, I highly recommend downloading the app and having your order ready upon arrival. I will say that some orders, "don't go through" and when you arrive they don't see the order so you have to wait anyway. If you like customizing your coffee, and they're out of the ingredient, they won't make the beverage until you arrive. I used the drive through so I can't say much about the inside only that it looked as crowded as the drive through was. It's definitely a busy location since its centered in the business district of Lake Mary. I ordered the hot White chocolate and egg white bites. All together I spent around $13. The hot chocolate was good, my favorite during the holiday season, however the egg white bites were small and disappointing for the price. I asked for a venti water cup with my order. After driving away I go to take a sip of it and see that the lid is dirty making me think that it's a used lid. Not only is there residue in the lid there is also a pretty blatant finger print near where I would put my mouth (it's easier to see in person than the pictures). I didn't want to wait in the backed up drive thru again to get another water, instead I decide to call so the staff is aware of it. Stephanie picked up the phone and was rather rude in my opinion after I explained the situation. At best she was tired and unhelpful if I give her the benefit of the doubt, however it came across a little sarcastic and annoyed. 4 cushy chairs in the corner, 2 long skinny tall tables with stools, 6 two-tops with booth/chair seating,a few bar stools near To-go area and 3 regular square tables with 4 chairs each... Plenty of inside seating... And then there are tables outside for those brave Florida souls. I prefer this location to the one on International Parkway because of the seating options. They seem much faster over here, too. The only downside is parking. It is always difficult to find a spot. Verizon has labeled 2 of the spots as theirs and threaten to tow if you aren't visiting Verizon. I'm not sure how strict they are on this, but I wouldn't chance it. The drive through gets really backed up in the mornings, too. Honestly, parking and drive through efficiency seem to be a problem for many Starbucks locations. I guess it's worth it for good coffee. The reason for 4 stars is because I never heard my name called for my coffee and it wasn't visible on the cup when I finally got up to investigate. After asking, I was directed to a messy looking cup that already had a sleeve on it that covered my order sticker. The coffee inside was perfect, just the presentation was lacking. read more
