I must say, I have gone to various Starbucks locations all around Leander. But this one has some of the most wonderful crew. They always go above and beyond, not just to make your drink your way, and if your like me, with all the crazy asks to go with it, but they also try hard to remember who you are!! I have a special drink I like, and the other day I went to the one by Walmart in Leander, the guy made the drink fast, the worst ever, blah! I found the employees to be pleasant. The barista taking orders greeted me with a smile. The one calling out orders was polite. That said, the staff operated as though they were very stressed. I didn't observe the typical well choreographed flow that Starbuck strong stores have. They had high traffic in the drive thru and people waiting for drinks and food the entire time I was enjoying breakfast. That is definitely pressure. All that said, I didn't see anyone complaining about their orders, and my items were correct. I noticed that the space people stand to wait for their orders is cramped. When there's multiple people, the two-top table, next to the space, gets crowded. I would hate to be sitting there on a busy day and have people hanging out in my personal space waiting for their coffee. This is a poor design of the restaurant. read more

Please don't train people during the busiest time of day on the intercom. We have our order so many times and she still managed to type it in all wrong. They spend more time talking over you than listening. Once we received our order that was all wrong it took 3 people to issue a refund! Sad. We come here every morning and the past few days has been horrible service and horrible coffee. Please train the staff to listen to the order and pay attention.. focus. this location is so inconsistent. i have ordered the same drink multiple days in a row and each time it taste completely different and is a different color every single time. today i decided to get the pumpkin cream cold brew, the drive through took forever and by the time i got to the window my drink was completely watered down with melted ice, the pumpkin cold foam had no taste whatsoever the entire drink just tasted like water. read more

Manager, could you teach your employee how to pack my coffees better? One day, I placed an order through the UB app. When the order's rippling bag arrived, the driver had to cancel it and mark it as damaged before realizing that the lids hadn't even been closed! I was fully refunded before I placed another order, however the second one arrived messy as well. I even text the driver to let the staff know what had happened to the previous one. Drivers are not at all to blame! From the store to my house is only a little over a mile away! Additionally, the bag arrived damp and unsealed a few days ago as well! Why didn't you check the lids again or carefully close them before sealing the bags? Plus they're very slow even I order for pickup through its app, when I arrived I was still have to wait for just a cup of coffee, I saw them chit chat to each other not intend to work. Please don't buy any bakery or sandwiches items, they didn't make to order, its from grocery or frozen! My experience with Reagan this morning was not Customer Service friendly. She does not understand what Customer Service is. Her attitude towards several customers this morning was terrible. I cannot believe how bad she is. She needs training. Backstory - She takes my order without putting it in. She says to wait. I wanted to pay and make sure it was being worked. After 5 customers came in after me and left, I asked again. I was told that I had to wait. More customers came and left. I visited this location last Saturday morning. I had placed a mobile drive thru order and waited in the drive thru line to pick it up. When it was my turn to order, I let them know I was just picking up my drive thru order. Turns out I ordered from the wrong store on the app. Totally my fault. I said no problem, and that I'd just place a new order here. I was going to call the other store and just tell them to give away my order over there, and I thought I was just going to be out the $13. Instead, when I got to the window to pay again, they gave me my order at no cost and told me not to worry about it,l -- and to have a great day. What???? That was so kind -- they totally did not have to do that, as it was absolutely my fault. That type of customer service really impressed me, and I really appreciated how they were empowered to make that call. Great Starbucks location! I usually stop here a few times a month to grab a coffee/breakfast after a workout. It's usually super early (6am or 7am), and the staff has been super friendly and welcoming each time I've gone. Order is prepared quickly and accurately, and I am on my way! Starbucks Rewards™ Visa® Card perk for March was not working. Staff did not know how to correct it. I was told a myriad of reasons; 1) Couldnt be used in the drive thru, had to come in tge store, 2) only works with licensed stores and finally 3) Corporate must have changed something. I've had tge card for quite a bit of time and have monthly redeemed my perk thru the drive thru at that location. Drink, once again was not made the way I requested with no foam. I should be able to have consistent and reliable service at a Starbucks. I simply will go to another Starbucks or some of the competitors going forward. read more

This business does not cater to the area it serves. We have a lot of walkers and they close their door at 12.30 to walk ins with a sign that says to place orders online or use drive thru. However the close the online ordering down to orders. Anyone out walking cannot get a coffee! I drove yesterday to another location! I will not return. Too many times we come to this location out of convenience only to get subpar drinks and sometimes bad service. Today we weren't informed the drinks and food were ready, seems like they are under staffed or most employees are new. It was chaotic. Next we had one drink that had almost no ice but the drink was filled too high, with a loose cap. Next drink, no ice, soy and sweetener. I usually don't complain and deal with it, but this was the last straw. :( read more

This woman was doing the drive through and me and my mom asked for a caramel macchiato and then she ordered a chocolate almond milk thing (I don't remember the name) then as we pulled over to the next window we see my caramel macchiato and a strawberry looking thing, and she had told us she heard almond something and then macchiato, which was weird as I ordered my macchiato first, and then she made the right thing for my mom. SLOW SLOW SLOW SLOW! This location needs extra help and better management. People are nice here but it's almost like the inmates are running the asylum. Most of the time I come here, I see ONE person working there tail end off while all the others are gathering. This is definitely not a "see a need fill it" type work environment. My guess is they need new management. I've been going to this place since it opened. The first year it was not like this. But it's been really bad for the last 18 months at least. Started off my morning with a coffee from the Starbucks in 1890 and when I received the drink it tasted like watered milk, and burnt. No coffee, no sweetness, not even an almond taste from the milk. Okay so this is my go to Starbucks location I go all of the time! And usually never have an issue other than long waits . Today they actually gave me a free drink for the long wait was very nice . The thing that upsets me is today was get your free red reusable cup when you order a holiday drink . Now Starbucks is a huge chain and is always busy and you would think they would understand they would be busy so they would have back ups if they did run out of cups . But when I asked the lady said I'm sorry we ran out since we were busy this morning . I understand you have busy mornings so why don't you have back ups or tell me to do a rain check tell em a time where I could come back and get one . I have been going to Starbucks for about 4 years now and I absolutely love their coffee. But I have been going to this Starbucks location for about 7 months now and these past few months have not been going well for the store. Im assuming there is a new staff because I have not been seeing my regular baristas that I grew to love, and its taking a toll on this location. I have been going to this Starbucks since they opened, and they are definitely the B team. The staff is a bit out to lunch. I had previously had a grande latte ordered through the drive thru that was half filled with foam. I stopped and went inside to show them how laughable it was. I had to wait while they made me a new one. As someone that handles coffee all day, you don't have to have spidey-senses to know when the cup is half empty. It FEELS empty. Yet, they didn't care enough to catch it before sending it out. Today, about a month later, my husband picked me up a grande latte through the drive thru. I could tell as soon as he handed it to me that it was half empty. I took it out and poured it into a measuring cup and only 9 oz of liquid! It is supposed to be 16 oz. I did not pay almost $5 for a child size coffee! Unfortunately, he had to get back to work and so did I so I had to suck it up with my few sips of coffee.
