This is by far the slowest Starbucks I've been too. When you're trying to get to work and you're stuck in line whether drive thru or not expect to be stuck in line for a good 20 minutes! I visit this location several times per week. They are friendly and fast. You're going to get the same product you get at any Starbucks - not necessary for me to review that here. There is limited seating here indoors so I'd love to see a couple outdoor tables here too. It is one of the smaller locations. The drive thru customers can make it a bitch to get through the parking lot. Today the barista made my coffee for me before I even got to the register. That was AWESOME! read more

Have been going here on and off for the past year when we are in the area at Target or the movies, etc. I am never satisfied with this location, ever. First of all can I just mention that whoever designed this plaza either did not expect a drive thru to go there, or they were an idiot. The set up makes NO sense, and it's very confusing to ones who are not familiar with it.. Often times there are cars coming from both directions trying to get to the drive thru, which not only makes the drive thru a pain in the ass, it also makes it a pain to park in the parking lot as well. Now to the coffee. I have gotten drinks with whip, after specifically stating no whip. I've gotten the wrong drinks, or not how I wanted them, I would say about 80% of the time. But I eventually just stopped asking for specific changes because I gave up, so that may explain the other 20%. I used to ask for light ice, but I never ever for that not once, so I stopped asking. Same with no whip. These are simple requests.. I'm not asking for some crazy drink here.. It shouldn't be difficult to just put less ice or no whip. The employees on drive thru have been cycling for a while. I've seen many come and go now just over the last year, and have been a fan of really any of them. The new guy on drive thru seems to do better than the rest had, though. Nevertheless, if I want a coffee and I have the time, I will go across the street to the one inside Target. The WORST Starbucks in RI. They are constantly closed for days at a time without notifying customers. The lines for the drive thru are so bad they block traffic throughout the whole place. And if you think ordering ahead will get you a drink faster WRONG. I've ordered ahead and waited forty minutes for a latte. read more

Good luck trying to save time with mobile ordering at this location. It takes a good 10 minutes for them to even ask your name. And then another 10 to wait for your drink. Today, I was told they never got my order and questioned if I even placed in at the right location, except they never even bothered to check the already made drinks. The products are average. The customer service is the WORST customer service I've ever experienced at a Starbucks. No matter what time of day, the service is horrible. I can be the first or last customer of the day. You wait at the drive thru for several minutes before they wait on you. And this is not because of business. The older women that runs the register is so cold and rude every time I go in there. I have never felt so uncomfortable ordering a coffee in my life. This is the most unfriendly staffed Starbucks in RI. Don't get me wrong, there are a few awesome people that work there, but only a few of them remain. The friendly staff seem to suddenly disappear and are never seen again. I feel like most times I order, the person taking my order seems annoyed or put off. It's your typical Starbucks. Coffee and service is nothing special. It can be really busy in the morning during rush hour but they seem to give preference to the people waiting at the drive thru over the people waiting inside so that's your best bet even if the line seems long. read more

I'm a frequent customer of this location due to being in close proximity of my physical therapist's office. While I certainly have no gripe with the beverages themselves, my issue is with, just as others have pointed out, their service. This location does have a drive thru which I don't typically hit up since my drink of choice most of the time, is an iced coffee (which I absolutely prefer to prep myself as I'm picky about things like the amount of cream, etc). For those few and far visits for a frappucino or premade drink, the drive thru suffices and service is near lightening speed. The problem is, the other 99% of the time is not. The process of ordering and being rung up is usually without issue but it's from that point on that service can be extremely spotty. More often than not, I'm left waiting for my lone beverage while customer after customer at the drive thru is serviced. When attempting to flag someone down to see what's up, more often than not, they're too busy scrambling around.. well.. the drive thru. Last week was a perfect example of this. I ordered breakfast for myself and the hubby one chilly, late morning: two baked goods, an extra hot chai and an iced coffee. The iced coffee was ready in a flash and I was promptly called down for the baked goods. No problem. I waited patiently at the bar after prepping my drink: a bitter faced barista was busy replenishing stock, there was a dude at the drive thru and two others ringing people up/making drinks. Keep in mind while the drive-thru was of course hopping, the inside was backed out the front doors... with all of one other customer. I waited. And waited. ....and waited. Drink after drink was being handed to the drive thru. I attempted to flag down someone after about 5 minutes to no avail (I'd like to assume they didn't hear me..). I actually made eye contact with the chick putting away cups, etc but she literally turned away before I could open my mouth. Finally, the dude at the drive-thru took one look at me, looked at one of the cups that had been sitting out the entire time and randomly came over stating "oh you're all set." Um no. No apology, no offer to reheat, nothing. Just a lukewarm, $5 chai that had been sitting out for like, six minutes by the cold window. Yeah, it happens to the best of us, but my biggest complaint is that this type of lukewarm service wasn't a one time incident. And especially when I'm willing to dish out a five-er just for a drink, I expect decent service and my chai..well, hot. read more

Every single time i come to this Starbucks they somehow manage to get my order wrong or put dairy in my DAIRY FREE drink when I specifically check and make sure. Ive had to repeat myself multiple times on multiple occasions and the drinks still come out wrong. Not sure what it will take to get it correct. Ive contacted management in the past, they sent a $5 gift card from corporate, wow im sure the workers cared! I stopped going there and avoided starbucks all together. I decided to go with my partner after they told us the pumpkin spice was VEGAN. When we got there i confirmed and it was in fact not vegan. I got a different drink the next day and they once AGAIN got my order wrong and put caramel drizzle in my cup when I specifically stated not to. Never going here again. read more

Crew are great, service is very nice,,,,I'm a regular but big issue in the winter and I have mentioned it,,,,the place is an ice box! There are no heat blowers to keep the cold air at bay when the door opens. Often, the wind also keeps the door open for 10 - 15 seconds and it is like an artic BLAST. This is not a comfortable, warm environment to sit have coffee, read or do any computer work. One is frozen in 5 - 10 minutes. The staff are even cold!! I am not the only customer who feels this way!! We are many and ALL say the same thing! The place is an ICE BOX which I believe completely destroys the "Starbucks Experience!" This is the exact opposite to the marketing concept that Starbucks works to create! read more

I actually had a girl who worked there be so rude to me the other night, that my extremely quiet husband stepped in! This is not the 1st time that the workers have been rude either. The coffee is great. It is always the perfect temperature. The staff is nice. My drink is always correct. Hey have some snacks. The bathrooms are clean. But the atmosphere of this Starbucks makes it hard to meet a friend for a coffee or linger over a scone. It has very few seats, and some of them are adjacent to the line, making things unpleasant. Ok, i have been coming to this location forever, atleast 10 years. The bad reviews here, are just ALL wrong. Maybe the people leaving bad reviews have never worked in the service industry and just don't understand what it's like. People who work in the service industry are human, treat them as such and it will make their day, which in turn will make your day every time you walk into the store. In the 10 years that I have been coming here I have never had a bad experience. Yes mistakes have been made but they were always promptly corrected, with a smile, and with a ticket for a free coffee next time. At this point everybody knows my name, when there are long lines my coffee is ready before I hit the register. I love the staff, all of them! This location is extremely inconsistent. I am not usually one to review unless I'm impressed or in this case, disappointed. I order the same drink, and have been frequenting this location a good 2-3 mornings of the week as it is the only convenient location on my way into work. I have had my drink made wrong here a handful of times, and usually just suck it up. Today, I ordered my drink as I usually do, however, whatever was in the cup I was handed was not what I ordered. The printed label on the side indicated the correct order. I went inside and while the re-made drink I was provided the second time was seemingly more correct, it only tasted a little less than awful. Not to mention the top of my venti drink was foam and air before even taking one sip. I don't pay close to $6 for a 3/4 full cup. At this point, I was out of time to bring this to their attention and walked out. This Starbucks is doing a great job of making me not want to return here. I had a wonderful drive thru experience today. Immediately after my order I get this unprofessional female response, "Can you say it slower?". The correct customer friendly response is "Could you please repeat that order again sir/ma'am?". So I repeated it again very slowly then pull forward. I am greeted with a death stare by a woman with black shoulder length hair in her low to mid 40's. She then proceeds to rip (yes rip) my Starbucks gold card out of my hand and processes my payment. Again very unprofessional. She then hands me my coffee with the same miserable stare she greeted me with. I understand everyone has a bad day but I'm paying $5 for a cup of coffee and I'm paying your salary you miserable bitch!
