I've come here a few times and never had an issue. I usually do order for pickup. Today, they messed up my order, so I had to ask them to add vanilla sweet cream cold foam to my espresso. I stood at the register for a few minutes while the 3 girls just behind the counter stared at me like I had 2 heads. Did not want to help. The one guy was nice enough to ask if I needed help. He handed my drink to one of the girls and they just left it on the counter and prepared another order. I stood by and watched until finally someone acknowledged my drink. Honestly, not my favorite Starbucks and I only come when I drive to Staten Island for work. Today was a really horrible experience and I may possibly never come back. The drink tasted like hot water. No mocha at all! I specifically order three shots of espresso and it tasted like hot water! There were two full coffee beans in my mocha. How that's possible, idk. Clearly negligent in making my drink. I came here about 3 weeks ago and ordered my triple mocha and they gave me iced mocha! I had to double check my receipt and the label on my drink. Sure enough, it said cafe mocha. NOT ICED MOCHA!!!! I was running late so I didn't have time to argue and ask them to remake my drink so I literally threw it out. They had a relatively clean bathroom which is always a good sign as well. Starbucks is one of those places that you always know what you will get. The consistency is impressive across all locations. This is a very nice well kept Starbucks located in the heart of Linden Plaza right off 1&9. Just as in any Starbucks, the staff is always nice and welcoming this location is very clean and convenient if your in the area and going shopping or just coming from the movie theater. It's very spacious inside, the drinks are made very well and the music is always pleasant. I personally like the Java chip coffee with whipped cream on top (although it's not the healthiest). I come here periodically and always get very good service here. Additionally, there's plenty of parking around so it's no need to worry! I've never walked in here where it's been too crowded so if your looking for a Starbucks, I would definitely recommend. read more

So glad that Starbucks is open on thanksgiving morning. Came here for a morning coffee before our long drive down. There was a line that morning but it went by pretty quickly. Nice Starbucks and nice workers there. I brought my reusable cup for $.10 off my latte. Was able to use their bathrooms as well before we left. There was plenty of parking in the front of the store. I've been going to this Starbucks for years and I haven't really had any negative experiences here. They recently changed up the inside seating so there's more individual table and chairs versus the hightop long shared table. There's also plenty of outdoor seating so it's great when the weather is nice. This place can actually get crowded on warm nights so keep that in mind if you're bringing a group. The baristas are always friendly and provide great service. Since the location isn't that big at times it gets super busy so keep that in mind if you stopping by during prime morning time if you're in a rush. The one thing that would make this location even better would be if it had a drive thru but the way the building is it won't ever happen. Great place to get work done! read more

This Starbucks is conveniently close to home, and has a sunny storefront, but I have major qualms that are starting to really sour me. The layout does not use the space well, and regularly results in a shortage of seating. The shop is a triangle floor plan. Four 2-man tables line one wall, four arm chairs fill in a corner, a 6 seat communal table fills the third wall, the ordering counter is on the last wall. Another high top communal table with eight or so seats runs down the center of the shop. Customer service is entirely hit or miss, and is the main reason for the low-star review. Sure, some baristas are friendly. Most are either in full grouch mode, or are smiling through clenched teeth. When the supply of stirrers, straws, napkins and milk sometimes run dry, it's normal for a customer to ask a barista for a restock or for one to suit his own needs. What's not normal, or polite, or right, or good business, is for a barista to explain to a customer that they're making many drinks at once and can't stop to help them. Keep your supplies stocked, and you won't be interrupted. Problem solved. Yes I just watched that happen - not for the first time. Also, they are super stingy with prices of add-ons here. A hot tea with steamed milk will be up charged as a latte, even if you exclude the myriad syrups, whipped creams and toppings. Many other shops will steam milk as a friendly courtesy. Not here. I just walked out of this Starbucks. I frequent Starbucks but I have never experienced such rude service. For one, the line when I walked in was out of control. I walked over to the merchandise walking in the hopes of purchasing a gift. They didn't have what I was looking for so I walked to the line and stood there for 5 Minute ls for he rude barista to finally notice me and tell me they are closed. Tucked away in the Aviation Plaza shopping center, near an AT&T store and Gamestop is a nice respite from the madness of shopping, a Starbucks. Here, outdoor seating, spacious indoors and a clean store await. I'm not a regular at this Starbucks so I cannot vouch for its consistency in terms of service, but in the few times I've visited over the years I've always had a good experience. Orders are taken promptly by a friendly staff and the drinks always taste good. I've sat in a couple of times and it was always pleasant and comfortable. I remember when the building this Starbucks is in didn't even exist yet, so I was happy to see one crop up in the area. Granted, this is out in the boonies for me, but this shop is here to refresh me when I have to come to the deserted mall in the wee hours of the morning. This is on the best side of Aviation plaza...less hectic. I dunno if it's because Linden is fairly quiet compared to let's say....NYC...but I've never had a problem with an order. Usually, when I am at a Starbucks...someone takes my stuff or it takes years to get out of there. You can really see the teamwork here and it makes the experience all the more worthwhile. You're in and you're out. Unless you're staying...but even then, there's outdoor seating. read more

There are three people standing out side 10-15 minutes as some ahole inside is getting drink after drink brought to him. I can see my coffee sitting there so I go around to the other door and ask to pick it up. The clerk gave me my coffee but said next time I had to wait outside. Well, I ordered hot coffee, not iced coffee, genius. Would like to drink it while it's at least warm, seeing as some guy is apparently ordering everything off the menu from the mobile pick up desk. I understand that now with corona everything's confusing and crazy but I mobile ordered a drink and a croissant and when I got there it was closed !! But the workers were in there. I was outside and got one of the employees attention and was pointing to my phone trying to tell her I had a mobile order (btw they took my money). Instead of someone coming out to talk to me. They wrote on a paper and put it right at the window that I was standing at saying "were not taking mobile orders call Starbucks for a refund" then I call the Starbucks three times AND THEY DIDNT ANSWER!! A few years back when an employee by the name of patrick used to work there, I would go in there regularly and they had refills for coffee at 53c per cup. I love starbucks coffee and in the afternoon I would go for a 2nd or 3rd cup til i realized he was spitting in my coffee. Prior to that, i asked for a refill but I didn't have my cup to prove that I already had one before and he gave me a dirty look after arguing with me and acting rude in front of other customers. I felt embarrassed and offended so other girl acknowledged that I was there earlier and he had no choice but to give me my refill. After being humiliated I was telling him that I will pay the full price but he angrily obliged to give me the discounted coffee. He poured it into a smaller cup than what I was supposed to get and placed it on the counter with it being 3/4 filled... I guess I got my 53 cents worth. Honestly I wasn't going there for the discount, I just love a harsh coffee. Harsh patrick poured a sour batch of hatred into my soul as I omitted that place in the afternoons as that's when that was his shift. He wasn't there shortly after that and actually I had the same issue occur to me in Brooklyn, Ny except this time the little angry girl charged me extra for a refill as I was there frequently. Just horrible manners on their employees as their fast food cafe has no decency and class.
