I only ordered iced green tea, no food. They did not give me any issue with the free refill. One less star because the bathroom ran out if hand soap to wash your hands. Echoing other reviews: the drive-through should be avoided at all costs! I think it's because they usually only have 2 staff working whenever I walk in, so things get backed up. I could almost guarantee you will have a bad experience in the drive-through lol. It takes them a few tries to get my latte right (they usually add mocha or other flavorings when I just ask for plain) but I'm out the door within 5-10 minutes. Nothing major, but a little slower than other Starbucks in the area. Their selection of tumblers is always amazing! read more

Due to the regular Starbucks in Hasbrouck Heights being closed for renovations, I passed by this Starbucks to get my fill of my Venti Skinny Cinnamon Dulce Soy Latte. As I walked in, I was NOT greeted with the normal, warm, welcoming Hello that I am use to getting when I frequent my other locations. What I was greeted with, was that obnoxious, snobby attitude that gives Starbucks a bad name. The baristas behind the counter were rude and cold. My coffee (that was ordered hot) could have been delivered ice cold with the attitude that I received. The only reason this place gets two stars is for their adorable decor and merchandise found inside this store. Bigger than most Starbucks and more desks than normal. Do yourself a favor: Go to the Starbucks on Route 17, either in East Rutherford or in Hasbrouck Heights, if you can help it. read more

Not only is the staff friendly and charismatic, but they provide excellent customer service by helping you choose a drink that you might like if you are indecisive. What I like most about the staff is that they know how to deal with the pressures of the caffeine rush hour and seamlessly provide customers with their endless amount of orders correctly and effortlessly. They are courteous as well as hard working and ensure that they provide the customer with an all around great Starbucks experience! I've come to this Starbucks location often because of its convenient location and cozy interior design. You'll find an array of seating choices along the wide windows and walls along the space. There are charging locations in every corner of the seating areas or against the walls and now on the table against the window! This location makes it a great place to study if you don't mind the hum of a blender or low chattering of conversations all around you. A bit frustrated with this location. My regular sbux drink is a Chai Tea Latte - almost every single time I order it here it just tastes like warm milk in a cup, very watered-down. I ordered a shaken expresso which is a mix of light and dark I got a lot of milk in mine and the girl seemed upset that I asked for it darker. I normally like to give a general overall rating of a place, but I'll write this review exactly how I saw (and smelled) this place. Me and my cousin came to grab a burger at the nearby burger place, Way Back Burgers. Afterwards we decided on grabbing some coffee. The place had a nice size line on their drive thru, so we decided to walk in and place our order. As soon as I opened the door and walked to the counter, I smelled this strange odor. Honestly, it smelt like a urinal. I don't know if the fresh coffee bean smell was mixing in with something else, but it was awful. The service was quick, the price was cheap, and the coffee was pretty good. Aside from that strange odor, everything was fine. Place looked really clean, so I'll definitely be back. This is a pretty bad Starbucks. I've been going to Starbucks everyday since the early 2000s--- I'd rate all the ones I've been to 4 or 5 stars--- except for this one. Every time i've been there the service has been a bit rude... I can see beyond that but and I've ordered mobile drinks from them three times now and every time it has wrong. This is the ONLY Starbucks I've ever been to since Mobile began that got my mobile drink order completely wrong. I didn't think it was possible until I went to the Little Ferry Starbucks. Now I check my coffee every time I order it. Thanks for making me paranoid, Little Ferry. One time it was a completely different drink in a cup with the correct sticker information on my cup. Two other times they at least got the coffee part right but failed to add the sugar and milk that was on my sticker--- all the times I picked up right on time and every time the coffee was cold. How is that even possible? I can't be the only person that happened to. Though all these things are forgivable, multiple times in a row, with rude employees backing it up, definitely says something about your store. I won't be coming back. read more

Went through the drive-thru asked for an oat milk latte and brown sugar. I got a mocha. Didn't notice until I drove away so I had to get out of my car and go inside to have it exchanged. No big deal. I asked another barista if they could give me what I originally asked for (an oat latte). I watched her use regular milk (I thought it was for someone else's drink ) she then hands me the drink and I asked this is oat milk right? She said yes. So I believed her. The violent stomach pains I had afterwards proved that was a lie. When people ask for plant milk MOST of the time they're asking because of dietary needs not because they're being picky or annoying. Don't tell someone you used a dairy-free milk if you didn't. Own up to your mistake and just make it right. These people in here are always messing up orders & I understand they're busy at times but if you can't be efficient under stress then maybe this isn't the job/location for you. As I stated, dietary needs should be taken more seriously. We're not trying to be annoying, we just CANNOT have certain things for specific reasons!!!! This has been one of the worse experience with Starbucks!! I ordered at 11:10 am on Uber eats when the Uber came only 1 item of my entire order was sent! I called and spoke with the most unprofessional "supervisor" by the name of Rob! I was told by him I would have to come to the Starbucks for a refund or to pick up my order! I don't drive so my friend had to come take me! We literally spent 25 min in the drive through alone before we got to the intercom to let them know we were here for the refund! Finally we got to the window where you pick up orders. Rob was very rude and condescending ! I stated you know given all what I had to go through to get my refund back the least you can do was give us a discount or something for compensation. He said no rudely and said either we take the food or my money back! I took my money back because it's poor customer service! If you don't like your job or have no good customer service keep your ass at home! When you serve people it's your job to make sure the order is right and if it's not the least you can do is make it right! He was also very condescending when he returned my card and receipt! I had to pay $4.00 in tip and $3.99 in delivery fees to only get my ice coffee and not my other 4 items! The fact that I spent $23 dollars for my entire order and I was only refunded $8.76 it's and got no type of meaningful apologies for an incompetent "supervisor" is what pissed me off! read more
