I'm only at this location occasionally (I frequent the reading location as its on my way to work). But I really do love this space. It's great for a quick cup of coffee. Arrived at Starbucks Lynnfield Marketplace on June 7, 2015 at approximately 7:30pm and was greeted by a very unfriendly Barista. I ordered a Pike Place coffee and she was trying to sway me into trying sometime else. I informed her that I would like a Pike Place coffee. She said we don't really have any available now. I replied, no Pike Place? She said I can make some by slow drip, which took approximately 14 minutes to prepare. Once it was done she gave the cup to me which was very light feeling. I asked if she could fill it up more. She replied don't you need to put cream in it? I said just a small splash. She gave it back to me and I had to ask for the cream which was nowhere to be found. I went to my seat and sipped a coffee that was Luke warm and three quarters full. Needless to say I threw it out and left this Starbucks and will never return. read more

I come here often because of the location. I usually use the mobile app but occasionally try the in line order. It takes LONG time in the morning to order today because they are training a new employee and she's the only cashier. I understand she's slow and it takes her sometime to look at the screen then place the order.what I don't understand is her trainer/supervisor who teaches her but doesn't let her touch the cups/ bags. I have to repeat my order to the trainer again so she can write on the cup. I mean it's sooo slow. Can't you train her some other time besides morning rush hour? Can't you ask another cashier to help speed up? Can't you let her handle the cup instead of asking customer/ the new trainee to repeat order twice? What a waste of time. read more

Starbucks is usually the best place and i always go there to get my regular drink- a strawberry açaí refresher with no berries and light ice but the workers here were just so disrespectful. They also just thought they knew everything and kept messing up my order and when I told them it was wrong they acted as if they couldn't be bothered. read more

Nice little Starbucks- pretty much identical to any of them. Stay away from the inside bench seating; there is a piece of wood trim work on the back that is very uncomfortable. If the weather is nice, there are some outdoor couches to spend some lazy time. read more

The staff is as friendly and attentive as expected. But, this location is loud. The interior is lacks noise-cancelling features (like a gymnasium). The volume of the music, though not as loud as a night club, is too loud for a coffee house. The site is usually busy and frequently crowded. As a result, everyone speaks loud to make them self heard over the din. read more

Awful service! I ordered a simple ice coffee classics and cream. The barista girl handed me a black coffee. I told her I asked for cream also. She said there was half and half on the table and I could serve myself. Then I asked - nicely, if she could at least dump a little of coffee on the sink because it didn't have room for cream. She answered me, " there is a sink here (behind the counter), you can dump yourself." She said that without even looking at me. Seriously? All that for free. I didn't disrespect her at any time. What i usually get was out, so I ordered a hot chocolate. It took a very long time for me to get. It was definitely mine, too. My hot chocolate tasted like mango coffee. It looked extremely light and puffy compared to a normal hot chocolate. This is preposterous. They wouldn't take it back for another one. I'm flabbergasted! This is not even real service. The coffee at Starbucks is always consistent. On my way to work I will always stop by. Sometimes the service can be extremely slow. The line will get so long it almost goes out the door, but this is the only downside of starbucks. I would recommend. read more

Worst starbucks I've ever been to. Barista was clearly swamped but there were plenty of other workers who should have been helping that were doing things that could have been done later. When you have 20+ people waiting and even more at the register, you don't need to be emptying the trash (and oh so slowly at that.) After 25+ after a mobile order telling me 9-18 minutes, I attempted to ask the barista about my order. She rudely said "I don't have your order here." I said well here's my mobile receipt but she didnt't care and just walked away, refusing to acknowledge me. I asked what looked like a manager, who had a bunch of orders she clearly wasn't doing (as it seemed she was intent and happy just filling cups with ice and pre-made iced teas, nothing any harder.). What I got instead of a Caramel Frappacinno was milk and ice and only milk and ice. I'd have said something, but they didn't care. Stop taking orders if you can't fill them! I know it was busy but if you don't want to do the harder work, don't take the job. The worst starbucks I've ever been to. Every other starbucks I've been to has been great. I went in to the lynnfield market street Starbucks to get a coffee and sit down. It was 8:15pm and they had already mopped the whole store and turned the chairs upside down on every table (including the counter), except one. I asked what time they closed, and at first, the barista didn't answer me, so I asked her again and she said 10pm. I asked if I could take a chair down at one of the high top tables & she rudely pointed to the ONE available table in the middle of the room (next to a bunch of loud kids) & said "well, you could sit there." I couldn't believe this - they had the whole store cleaned up an hour & 45 minutes BEFORE they closed. This was just awful customer service & not what I expect from a Starbucks. I left without getting anything. I definitely won't be going back! read more

I love going to this Starbucks, the baristas are always smiling and friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend trying their flat white and new latte macchiato it has 3 shots of espresso rather than the 2 shots you would get in a regular latte. read more

The coffee is fantastic but the service at this location is horrible. When they first opened, everything was great (see previous review), however, my last three visits have been terrible. The line never moves. I expect a line in a Starbucks but I don't expect to have 1 employee serving a line of 10+ while another employee fills the orders and other employees are standing chatting. If you're busy, both registers should be going and multiple people should be filling the orders. That makes sense. I went the other night, and no one was in line, however, I stood at the counter for almost 10 minutes and no one came over to take my order. I ended up walking out because I don't want to pay for that sort of poor service. The last time, randomly around 11 in the morning, I decided to pop in and it was the same long line with only 1 person so I ended up walking out after five minutes of standing in the same place. Pretty much done with this location as there's one in Reading which is a bit further away but has really good service and fast moving lines. read more

I don't understand why they have to be so loud?? What I mean is that the baristas slamming the microwave/oven door and pulling the metal covers forcefully and scooping the ice with such force, it doesn't not create an environment to have a conversation. Don't get me wrong, I am not asking for library silence, but I am a frequent visitor of the 'bucks and I've never visited a store that creates as much noise from its Baristas as this one. This Starbucks is notoriously busy with lines going across and outside of the store. I've been to other Starbucks just as busy but they are always very efficient, and my order is correct. However, I've watched numerous times more than seven people get their orders ( including venti frappuchinos and other large mixed drinks) before my one ice tea gets prepared. When they take your order, they put your cup in line behind others before you which makes sense, but then I watch multiple drinks that were ordered after mine get made and handed out before my order. It's even worse when my drink is made incorrectly and taste different every time I go. I can understand getting frustrated working in customer service when it gets really busy and hectic, but I don't appreciate having my drink shoved across a counter covered in someone else's whipped cream because the "barista" is in a bad mood. read more

This location is great, ample space inside as well as nice outdoor seating with couches when the season permits. The service is average, nothing to complain about there. It can get busy due to the fact it's in a busy location at Market Street. All considering I would recommend this Starbucks to anyone, and the staff is always friendly, never had an ordered messed up here. read more

Starbucks at Market st. Is a great store with great friendly service. The only problem I've had is not getting stars for my purchases and having to call Starbucks to get my reward credit. I now know why Starbucks is still in Business, this location is very new, clean, however, I think something is up - false advertising, for one. I went in yesterday after shopping in the Lynnfield marketplace, Noticed a huge sign: buy 1lb xmas coffee and receive a $5.00 gift card. like getting two presents for one. when I got to the counter, I was told that promotion was over, and asked why the sign was still there. they just hadn't gotten around to taking it down. So I reluctantly purchased the coffee grinds just the same. Proceeded to order 2 Gingerbread Latte,TALLS. As I was waiting for them to be made, I noticed my slip read 2 Gr (grande's which are 4.55 each) After looking at the long line I decided to wait - if they made me Grandes, I would just take them an walk away. BUT, they made me 2 talls. and what charged me for GRANDES? Absurd. I questioned it an asked for the manager --- who asked me if I'd just like the difference on a gift card. which at that point I said whatever is easiest - as I ? the sign (which was still there/$5.00 g.c. for the coffee) there was now a huge line. (she ended up handing me a one dollar bill) I think she needs some math classes, and decided I would just write this review instead of continuing with a discussion. My time is worth more than .50. Let's just say - I wonder how long this starbucks will be in business or yes they will - if they continue to rip people off, who don't notice. ASK for your receipt and review it! and I wouldn't be writing this if the barrista's weren't so rude, thinking about the next customer. read more
