Unfortunately they've slipped back into their old ways. Getting the orders correct appears difficult, and there's a noticeable lack of please and thank you. Sometimes orders get mixed up, but the least you could do is fix it without an attitude and apologize for the wait. The floor could also use a good sweep and the condiment counter could use a restock. read more

The GM here is so slow I like everything she does and always seems to be mad talking I don't know why this place can't do anything or why they can't take orders like nobody ever goes there and it's really slow she made me wait for like 10 minutes and then said oh haha I have to go to the bathroom I don't know I don't find it cute I just wish they could do their jobs like is she even the best worker out of them read more

If you read my reviews you know that I'm not a particular fan of Starbucks, but it's a decent place to get a cuppa coffee. The coffee is not exceptional but it's a solid cup of coffee, The stores are always clean, and employees are generally friendly. This is NOT a good place for coffee. I'm very disappointed the coffee is very bad at this location. Either sitting too long or not portioned properly. Protein pack was really bad too. He'd boiled eggs were old. Grapes and apples tasted off probably due to lemon they squeeze on to maintain visual freshness not actual freshness. Coffee protein pack. Juice. $15. No thanks. read more

No refills for drive-through customers, sorry! I got an iced tea via drive through at this location and came back (on the same day) for a refill. They told me it has to be from the same visit (as in I came into their store and never left) or they could not do a refill. They said it's their policy even though I explained to them that I was a drive-though customer! The denial on my refill was not the reason for the 1 star rating, the bad customer service was! My husband has a Southern accent, when he told the woman at the counter he wanted a plain coffee she made him wait. However she was on top of the lattes and coffees that take longer to make. Maybe a Californian? Didn't like my husbands Southern twang, there's a lot of that around here, especially from the Comifornians. She should be terminated and sued for discrimination. This place is like, if MTV came into town, and Xhibit came and Pimped My Ride, except my ride was a Starbucks. Way nicer than the stores in the Chandler area, big interior and plenty of outdoor space, as well as that cool new coffee machine that pretty much fills your drink with extra deliciousness. Much better than the Kiosks in the grocery store, and honestly the local shops are going to need to step up their game to compete. I hope they do, because our town is more awesome with 3 coffee shops than with just one or two. read more

I have come to this Starbucks 5 times and all at different times and have experienced nothing but bad customer service. To bad this is the only Starbucks besides the ones inside the groceries stores. The baristas and cashiers just act miserable and give you such a hard time for any modification you make to your drink or even asking for something simple like your receipt. read more

This is by far one of the worst Starbucks I have to go to. The Starbucks in a target is better than this one.... they take forever with your order. Always. Be prepared to wait about 20 minutes for your coffee, even if you use the mobile app and order ahead. 6-15 minutes? No. More like 20-30. Currently, I'm waiting for my mobile order, and am on minute 21. Also, ask them what a drink tastes like or if you can try a small tiny sample of the syrup? No. Don't even ask. HOWEVER, my favorite location who turns drinks out in about 7 minutes average will not only describe the drink, they'll sometimes give you a small sample. Bottom line this isn't a Starbucks, this is just a very overpriced place to wait for coffee. read more

Friendly and fast service every time. This location is usually pretty clean and can be bus but the baristas bust drinks out pretty quickly

It doesn't matter if there are two cars or 20 in line, you are going to wait a long time for your coffee. I have received several free coffees from the long wait here. Not sure if they have tons of turnover or just very slow baristas. If you come here be prepared to wait.......and wait........and wait. read more

Typical Starbucks. Fast service and good coffee, if a little bit overpriced. However with the price comes consistency and cleanliness. Id say that's a good trade off. This location has a large communal table that is great for students or small business meetings. There is outdoor seating available as well as a drive through for those on the go or who are handicapped read more

I came here from out of state and I must say the people here were not very friendly whatsoever. Coming from the state where Starbucks originated from, very rarely do I ever have issues. A guy named Mario rang me up and acted like he completely hated his job. I wasn't done ordering yet he kept giving me my total without asking if I needed anything else. After he rang me up, I kept observing him and on more than several occasions, I saw him roll his eyes at customers as if they were an inconvenience to him. I get people have bad days but being in the customer service industry, he should really try leaving that at home as it makes the customer feel extremely uncomfortable. read more

Large store with lots of seating! It was slow while I was here, so we got great service. Clean bathrooms. Single stall rooms-- 1 women, 1 men. Didn't use the drive thru since we needed to make a pit stop. This brand new line of buildings is very nice! read more

Hello Maricopa! After just moving here from Chandler, I was sadly disappointed that there weren't any coffee shops other than starbucks, so I took the plunge and started visiting this location. After a few trips I realized I actually enjoyed their product, but more importantly the staff. Always quick and eager to help, but the most outstanding employee we've seen so far is manny. always happy, always asking how your day is going, or what you've got planned. Please tell him he does an amazing job every morning we see him, and he truly is the best part of your store. He does the job perfectly, without hesitation. The product is great, it's convenient to visit anytime, have not gone inside yet, only used the drive through, only one issue, one CSR his name is Mario, he is the rudest, he has no customer relation skills, when at the window he takes your money, no greeting or smile, he then leaves the window open and turns his back to you and stands there waiting for your order to be made, he then gives you your order and slips back in the window and shuts it, no thank you or have a good day. I have called the manager, she said she would handle it, but afterwards follow up visits he is still the same, We cringe now when we determine coffee and we see him at the window, these visits are not enjoyable, other that MARIO they visits are great, but how long will this last, I can't be the only customer that has this kind of experience? Just moved to Maricopa and tried the Starbucks. The Barista was very friendly and got the order and my name right! But incredible thing was that two days later I went back and not only did he remember my name but also my order. Great kid, and I was very impressed. read more

This store needs more training. I have been several times and they can not get the drinks right and hand out messy subpar drinks. For $5-6 a drink I do expect my money's worth. I hope they get seasoned staff and a manger who holds accountability. It defeats the purpose when I go through the drive only to have to come in and have my drink remade because I don't feel like making everyone late behind me. This morning I stopped to get a Cold Brew and a Spinach Feta Wrap before work at 6a, not my usual shift so I was really looking forward to this cup of coffee. The cold brew tasted like old coffee grounds, like it had been made the day before and they were just using it up so they wouldn't have to make a fresh batch. Completely undrinkable, I ended up throwing it away and being grumpy until my work cafeteria opened. Also, the staff here has been "short-filling" my drinks, I always have to ask them to top me off. If I'm paying $5 for a drink, I expect it to be filled to the top. So disappointed, now I know why I usually have coffee at home. At least I can get my order right and I know it's fresh. read more

Every time I come through the drive thru it takes forever and my drink is never right. Today was the last straw, I waited in line for 17 minutes with only 2 cars in front of me and I still got the wrong drink... And got over charged. I'll stick with Fry's Starbucks from now on. read more

Not a big Starbucks fan to begin with, but at least I usually know what I'm going to get. However, I've had about 5 different drinks from this particular Starbucks, and they've all been terrible. I don't know if it's a learning curve with new baristas as it just opened recently or what. The staff is nice enough and it's nice and clean inside, although it is brand new.
