Stopped by this Starbucks yesterday and was not really a fan. The biggest thing- there's no drive thru and it's a poorly laid out parking lot. I can't remember the last time I visited a Starbucks without a drive thru honestly. I hadn't visited this location before and was caught by surprise when I pulled up. Definitely not a fan of that since I wanted to remain in my car The parking lot has traffic flowing in both ways and has people actively backing in and out where it's tight. I ended up parking a bit far, in the back of the building because cars kept pulling through the front of the lot and there was too much going on to easily park. They should paint arrows and having traffic flowing in one direction You'd think since there's no drive thru that my drink might come out a little faster but no. On a weekday afternoon I was stuck waiting a while. Wish I could've been waiting in my own car -_- LOL. The place isn't horrible but I wasn't happy. There is love in this Starbucks!!!! As a frequent flyer to Starbucks, but first time at this location- there were so many little things that added to a great experience. It's also the holiday season, so you already know customer facing employees are already going through a lot, so a great experience needs to be celebrated!! There were many locals enjoying the seating area, most knew the employees by name (so sweet), my brown sugar shaken espresso was SO GOOD (perfect ratios), and my spinach feta wrap wasn't in the bag upside down!!! (I started to think it was industry standard to put them in upside down and everything fall out when you pick it up, but I was wrong!!!) This Starbucks location sits at the corner of Paper Mill and Johnson Ferry in West Cobb. While it doesn't technically sit in the same shopping center, it is basically located in the Village Parkway plaza that features Camps, Moxi and a variety of retail/business shops. Sitting in just a two business building, parking can get a little tricky here as it is limited. However, if it gets full, which it will, you can always park at the aforementioned plaza with no issues. Heads up to anyone looking to scoop their favorite beverage up via drive thru...not at this location, as they are counter service only...no drive thru at all. The place isn't massive, but it's laid out well and has a good selection of seating including a nice lounge area. Service was solid. Per usual, I never know what to get at SB so I asked for recommendations and ended up with a super tasty chocolate cookie Frappuccino and I was not mad about it at all! Overall, this location was a solid choice when the sweet drink craving hit! This location had friendly service, good drinks and was overall decent to swing through. read more

Since heading back to my office on occasion, I drop by this location because its convenient & on the way. Nothing but great things to share about this location. Usually order a grande mocha with a ham/cheese crossiant. Service is always quick, even when busy. Staff is friendly & get the orders right. Not to be taken for granted. Definitely consider this location if in the area. Only minus is there's no drive thru, but with today's gas prices, better to park & stroll inside anyway. read more

Don't get me wrong. It's a great Starbucks, I'm just a little sad that they took away a major menu item. So, everyone knows that Starbucks has phenomenal holiday beverages. I'm not a coffee drinker, so I usually like their different flavors of not chocolate. Last year, they had the Snickerdoodle Hot Chocolate during the holiday season. This year for whatever reason, it is not one of there holiday beverages. Well, on Instagram, they responded to someone's instagam comment, and they said how to order it by recipe. I just ordered it exactly how the company said here, and it is horrible. I think they put coffee in it instead of hot chocolate. I'm sure they just messed it up, so I'll have to give it another try. "Yeah, but that and 50 cents will just get you a cup of coffee in this old world." -- Boyhood (2014) This Starbucks is within walking distance from my house, except for these giant hills I would have to traverse... so I don't. However, first thing in the morning, before I start my meetings, I will run up there and get my morning jolt. The staff is friendly and they make a mean caramel macchiato - never messed it up. No drive-thru (wah, wah), but they are pretty fast at getting what you need made for you. However, they will char your pastry in the warming oven - it has happened on a few occasions and I am usually in too much of a hurry to get them to replace it (that may be their racket). There is a decent amount of seating inside and a couple of tables outside. Parking is limited and be careful of the crazies pulling in and out of the Shell station next door - they do not pay attention. read more

Went in at 6:30 to order a pre-made sandwich. A stubby gentleman with a a long scruffy beard stated they shut down ovens an hour before store closes bc they have to clean. If the store closes at 7 I don't get it. He was rude, brash unwilling to help or even offer an alternative. Not what I'm used to from Starbucks. read more

My food and drink were fine but one of the staff was rude to me. I'm a first responder and was in uniform. Typically the store opens at 6AM on Sundays but it is Christmas Eve. I arrived at 6:26. I didn't see the sign and first and no other costumers had arrived so I assumed they just forgot to unlock the door. So I knocked on the window. The girl with dark hair and glasses looked up and saw me but didn't acknowledge me. I then saw the sign with the holiday hours stating that Christmas Eve the store wouldn't open until 6:30. So I waited the four minutes and when the same girl came to open the door at 6:30 I said "I'm sorry, I didn't see the sign with the holiday hours at first." She refused to make eye contact and said "yup" as she was turning her back on me and walking away. She refused to acknowledge me any further. Until she was at the register where she said "What do you want?" I was trying to give her the benefit of the doubt and was thinking to myself well maybe she is just socially anxious. But then when another costumer came in she looked past me and gave them a cheerful "Good morning!" She then went back to ignoring me until the transaction was completed. While waiting for my drink I noticed she was perfectly cheerful and personable with all the other customers so it was really disappointing that on Christmas Eve she wanted to be rude to someone in uniform. I realize that's just one worker and I've never had an issue with any of the other workers here. I've been coming here for 8 years in uniform and never had an issue from any of the others but it put a bad taste in my mouth today. read more

My first time here. Within 10 minutes, I was greeted by roaches! :0. I am shocked because I have been to many other locations but would have never imagined that a Starbucks dirty enough to harbor roaches!! I let a barista know of the roaches and left immediately. Never again! read more

Incredibly disappointed with the remodel. My husband and I excitedly dropped in last weekend for the "reveal"...in a word, yuck. Feels like a school cafeteria or a doctor's office waiting room. When cadhier asked how he could help me, I told him I forgot to ask for ice tea and can I please have a cup with ice. I am a huge fan of Starbucks, but I was really disappointed at this location. The people who made my drinks were great, but when I left we realized my sister left her purse. She wasn't 100% sure If she had left it or just misplaced it, so I called them to make sure. Someone named Quinn answered and I asked if it was possible to take a quick look outside to see if it was on one of the tables. Within about 3 seconds of them "looking" he said they don't have it. I stopped by anyway to double check and it was sitting on top of one of tables right infront of the store, in plain sight. I have always experienced great service at Starbucks, but I was not pleased today. I understand being busy, but the store seemed not too busy when I left and it would've been appreciated for the person I talked to to take a second out of their time to help a concerned customer. read more

Usually I do not enjoy going to Starbucks without a drive through option but this location breaks the mold. The parking can get a little tricky depending on the time of day but luckily there is always a spot behind the building if you are willing to walk. The store associates are always friendly and ready to help. I've never had a bad order here and the coffee always tastes fresh. This store gives off more of a "neighborhood" vibe than a business man vibe. You'll typically run into people in workout gear and students studying. This Starbucks is like all the others basically, except that a lot of really rich people come here and hang out after yoga or whatever. So you can act like you are rich by hanging out here if you have a nice watch or maybe a Gucci handbag, or perhaps some Jimmy Choo's you want to show off. One time when I was trying to stop drinking caffeine I ordered a decaf skinny vanilla latte and the guy who took my order yelled out "a why bother" to the barista.
