I'm from Bloomington so my visits here are infrequent. However, they do awesome all the times I've been there. I got my free birthday drink from them this year and it was AMAZING. I don't understand all the bad reviews because this place is awesome.

So this Starbucks gets pretty busy, because it's the only one around for miles. I know sometimes it can get hectic and so maybe they're off, but personally I am a big fan. They do a great job with customer service and if you are unhappy, they are ALWAYS willing to fix any problem. Service is with smile and fairly quick. Also, I've noticed how clean their store is - always see someone sweeping, and they always use new cups/lids for refills. 5/5 from me (:

This used to be a pretty good Starbucks but it has really changed. Service is extremely slow - expect at least a 15 minute wait for your order inside and even more if you are going through the drive-thru. I travel back and forth between Bloomington and Indianapolis often and every time I drove by the drive-thru is slammed. I attempted to go through a few times but when the line didn't move for more than 5 minutes I just left. Drinks out of the drive thru have definitely been sitting and melting. Staff are friendly for the most part. The inside of the store is really nice too with a lot of seating. But due to the time and how the drinks aren't made well, I rarely go here unless I'm desperate. It's too bad because the interior is really nice!

Seriously. avoid. 10 minutes for 2 frappucinos and no "hello" or "thanks for being patient." Just a blunt "$8.10." followed by a "here you go.." I should add that we were the ONLY car in line!! If I wanted to be treated like crap I would go to McDonald's, but then again at least they say hello and thank you at the golden arches. In addition to forgeting to hand me the ice water I ordered, and I forgot about it because I waited too long the drinks were off. Pretty sure they were not following their recipes!! Martinsville... do you really wonder why Indy questions your existence??

This Starbucks has always left something to be desired. Their staff is a little bit kinder than they used to be but, their service lacks the professionalism and the speed required they handle the level of customers they get. The Baristas all appear to get along with one another but, instead of focusing on the customer they focus on each other. This makes for an awesome work environment however, the customer starts to feel ignored. The drive thru is a hit-or-miss. There are times when it is quick and you can expect to get out of there within 10 to 15 minutes and there are other times when it could take up to half an hour. Consistency is what they lack.

I had the breakfast platter with a bowl of gravy on the side and ended up ordering extra biscuits - worth every carb! Room for groups of 4-10. Pet friendly with street side dining available and definitely kid friendly. True gluten free and vegan folks might struggle a bit but vegetarians would be ok. The fried potatoes were excellent. We will add this to our places to return in this area.

They opened in May of 2022 and I just now saw it even though there are a couple of tables on the sidewalk. I ordered the Turkey Club on the Croissant because it was a hot sandwich. The sandwich consisted of thin sliced turkey, crisp bacon, Swiss cheese, honey mustard, mayo, lettuce and tomato served on a flaky croissant. It was a very good sandwich except there was too much mayo for me. It was dripping off and making for a messy eating. No worries, I will hold the mayo next time. The sandwich came with "house" chips which were plain kettle potato chips. Now for the truly great find, desserts. Their desserts are not listed on the menu and some are by the pay counter, some in a little refrigerator and some in a "jewelry" case. I ordered the Chocolate Caramel Hole Cake out of the refrigerator. A "hole" cake has holes in it with, in this case, caramel poured into the holes. Absolutely the bomb! PLUS, I was served two pieces because the server thought the portions were small and got the bosses' permission to serve me two. Many thanks!

She explained how the smoothies are meal replacements in terms of protein, not calories (they are low in calories). She asked if I was hungry and I said no. I said I was thirsty and she said I should get a boosted tea, so I did. Then she asked if I wanted full caffeine, or half, or none. I went with none this time. So the tea I picked out was the Lemon-Lime Lemonade. It was tart just like real lemonade and I really couldn't taste any difference. I liked the one I picked out this time but I see others I could choose next time for sure. I like how they do their lids. It's not a lid like you get for a fountain drink. It is like shrink wrap and it seals very well. The black straws are pointed to help spear a hole thru the lid. They had just finished hosting a benefit over the weekend and still had silent auction baskets available. I see lots of people coming and going out of this business all the time and hope everyone continues to patronize this small local business.

So it's kind of loud with kids running around everywhere. There are quiet spaces however I think the design is weird with having that play area close to the counter. You can't hear them call your name for drinks and it make waiting around awkward because they put the drink out at the counter directly across from the play area but if you don't had kids, you don't really want to wait down there. If I owned the building, I'd flip the spaces to have the play area on the other side of the door to the cafe and then people could have a more streamlined area for coffee. The artwork on the outside is adorable and attractive and changes based on the season. My drink was off the spring menu - I got an Irish Cream Chai and added an espresso shot. It was incredibly sweet. Much too sweet for my liking and I am pretty sure they used a store bought chai concentrate, which kind of bummed me out. Also, the cost for a large (with tip) was $12. That's pretty outrageous. Would I go here again? For sure. I just wouldn't get and extras or get the large because paying that much for a chai (that isn't even freshly brewed) in this economy is very much a luxury spend.

There was no wait to place my order and it was made pretty quickly and accurately. Nothing special - just a cafe miel with oat milk and extra hot. They even made a fancy design with the milk/froth on top but of course it ends up getting covered by the lid but I did appreciate the effort and attention to small things.
