Starbucks 90-496 Mecca locations drinks are not the same as other locations, the frappe looks like an ice coffee and they put extra whip cream in the bottom of the cup claiming that is how is should be in the bottom and in the top of the cup making like half of the cup of frappe but so liquid!!!! Even the taste is not the same, I wonder if they use the correct ingredients? Wish I would've read the reviews first. We ordered drinks and they came with the wrong lids and short straws which was very tricky especially for children to drink. The drinks themselves were less than stellar. I stopped at this Starbucks at 9:20 pm to order a coffee and a hot chocolate. There were a few signs that I noticed that my stopping here was going to be a mistake and that me trying to give this place my business was not going to as I planned on my drive home. First sign, the lights inside were almost all completely off, so I proceeded to go through the drive thru. Second sign, the screen was completely damaged and just flickered so I believed the speaker didn't work. Third sign, I pulled up to the drive thru window and there were two employees, one was mopping and the other was standing in front of the front register. I waited there for a couple of minutes to be acknowledged to no avail. I pulled over to get off and place the order inside, as I walked to the door there was a sign on the door that stated "Drive Thru Open!" and the door was locked. I knocked on the door and the two female employees that I could see through the drive thru window, looked at me and waved their hands across their necks as to gesture "no service or closed or I don't know" so I pointed to the drive thru and they put their hands up in this ‍‍ manner. I stated that the drive thru wasn't working and they couldn't care less. The employees that worked the night shift on Saturday 12-16-2023 were rude and couldn't care less about closing the store early. Why list business hours if you're not going to respect the hours. Made a quick restroom stop on my way home from the Glamis Dunes and initially, it took about 2 minutes of me standing at the register to be acknowledged. No one in front or behind me in line inside the location. The drive thru seemed pretty busy but I could observe that cars were at the window for several minutes. Anyways, I ordered two frappuccinos, and as I am ordering I ask the girl if the medium size cup is a grande and I get the weirdest look. Yes lady, I guess I don't speak Starbucks. Big deal. The seating area was unpleasantly dirty so I stood and waited 10 minutes for my drinks. I had to really pay attention to when they called out my drinks, which at this point I forgot what I ordered, since they didn't ask for a name. Eventually my drinks were placed at the counter and I took them after I asked what they were. Overall, the experience at this Starbucks was a good reminder of why I prefer to stick to small businesses, where better service is offered. Oh, and my drinks were pretty basic in flavor. read more

Stopped by at this Starbucks to get something to drink with my boyfriend on our way back home. I ordered my usual favorite drink... an Iced Green Tea Latte! We went through the drive thru and placed both of our orders through there without a problem. When we got to the window to pay and get our drinks they forgot to give us our straws! Luckily I noticed before my boyfriend drove off and left the drive thru so we were able to remind the worker, but it would have been a waste of time to go back and get them if no one noticed. That's the main reason why I gave them four stars. I really enjoyed my drink though! I liked the way they prepared it more than other Starbucks. The drinks also didn't take too long to prepare and we were in and out of the drive thru quickly. Let me just start off by saying that I live by the area. This place is literally the worst Starbucks in the whole valley. It really pains me to write this but honestly it's the truth. They NEVER have anything. It's been several separate occasions that I've came here because I do enjoy their drinks, however, this will be the only place that they tell us that they don't have something. Or that since they are about to close up that they can't make a certain beverage. I've tried them to give them the benefit of the doubt but at this point it's frustrating. Not only do they not have stuff but they will take forever. Their drive-thru is the worst. I have never had to wait in any other Starbucks line like on this specific location. This place should be permanently closed. There were multiple straw papers on the floor and tables completely covered with food.
