This renovated Starbucks reopened on Monday, January 20th, 2025. The food and beverage preparation area is now much larger than it formerly was. This would allow for more employees to be on duty, but that's not the case. As least now they all have plenty of elbow room. There are far fewer tables for customers to sit at with the reconfiguration. That space was taken over by an expanded mobile pickup area. Anyway, my most recent order was quickly prepared for me. I ordered ahead a strawberry açaí lemonade refresher. When I left and went to go pour my drink into my insulated cup I noticed these big black specks. I drove back and asked if they could remake it and I tried to give the young lady at the front my drink she told me I don't want the drink I want the sticker. Since the drink was full I didn't want to throw it away in the garbage (since it would spill everywhere and was trying to save a mess) so I gave her the sticker and asked if she could please throw the drink away. She told me no there's a garbage over there then rolled her eyes and walked away. I then went and threw it away and when watching her make my drink I get these refreshers multiple times a week and know that they are usually put with the ice and shaken and they usually are a lighter color with the lemonade. I never saw her put lemonade in. So I asked was there lemonade put in it and she said I put lemonade in it and once again rolled her eyes and walked away. I don't taste lemonade, my ice was never shaken and I know my drink isn't supposed to be made like this. I will not return to this Starbucks again. read more

I am a cardiovascular surgeon here in the Germantown area. Today, June 7th, 2023, I drove through Starbucks at Winchester near Hacks Cross after 17 hours in surgery. I was hoping to get my favorite coffee and a desert. I drove through and asked the intercom attendant, what kind of loafs they had. She replied that only had a lemon loaf. That particular item is not my favorite. I sighed and kind of said to myself, thats too bad. The voice on the speaker replied to me in an extremely unprofessional and and angry way that ,"If that is so bad you can drive away and order anything else, and to not bother coming in, because I wouldn't get served. Taken aback , I asked what the problem was, She then replied, " You need a better comidic writer and that you can just drive away. I was shocked and didn't feel up to finding out what the issue was. 1 hour. 60 minutes. That's how long I've been in this drive thru. I JUST got to the speaker box to tell them I had a mobile order, and they couldn't even find it. Yeah, probably because it was sitting out for an hour and someone came in off the street and grabbed it off the counter. At least I guess that means they're remaking it so my food will be hot and the drink won't be watered down. But the one star remains, regardless of whether what I'm about to receive at the window is the best latte and breakfast sandwich I've ever had. One hour before I even got to the speaker box. The line moved about every five minutes, so that implies they're taking five minutes at the window for every single car. Back when I was a Starbucks partner, my manager would have quite literally written up everyone on the floor if we moved this slowly. The Starbucks in collierville forgot to add my almond milk and I was already so far out so when I realized it I was close to this location. I went inside and explained to the barista Kelly, who was working there at the time, and she was so sweet and helped me by remaking my drink properly. Why can no one read anymore?! I order the same every time I go to Starbucks. I don't drink coffee so I'm an easy customer. All I want is my chai tea and a cold muffin Don't ask me why. This is my go-to Starbucks in Memphis. It is usually not as busy as some other Starbucks and the staff here are great. The drive thru is hit or miss, sometimes it is lightning fast, sometimes it takes a little longer. But if you go inside, there is rarely a long line. I wish they would get some new armchairs (or at least re-upholster the ones they have), but other than that the inside is nice and clean with plenty of room to sit. read more
