My mom and I stop by the Starbucks at the market place on town east in Mesquite, TX. on 07/24/23, and I just had to give a good review on one of your employee: Mrs. Pam Lipscomb. Remind you that I visit this location several times, mostly with my daughter who loves loves Starbuck who is only 15yrs. Mrs. Pam has excellent customer service. From the moment, my mom and I enter, she greeted us with how are y'all doing today? What can I get you two and so on? My mom ordered me a drink, her a drink and two banana breads. My mom thought she had rewards with the few points she had, and Mrs Pam went on to express to her how the points work and when they expire and how she can link her card to Starbucks app and etc. My mom is older and not good with apps. The moment she help us, she had patience. She is much dedicated to her job. She meet both of our needs, answer questions and concerns that we had and even gave us pointers on how we can earn things with Starbucks. We both left out happy. I applaud Mrs. Pam for keeping up the good work that she provides at Starbucks and for excellent customer service because many companies lack that with employees today. Every time I come to this location, she has the same positive attitude with every customer I see her interacting with. I never seen her in a bad mood and that's what keep me coming to this location every time and I'm sure other customers feel the same as well. Kudos to her! read more

Terrible service from staff, super rude and chatting more than working. Unprofessional, laughing and smirking when people ask for their beverage. I'm originally from Mesquite and moved a few years ago. I come back from time to time for different stuff, but this is the 1st time I have been back into this Starbucks in over 5 years. The inside has dramatically changed for the better. Its more open and accessible for busineess/school students to study/work with a friendly staff of employees. We got 2 coffees and 2 cookies to go, but wished we would have came earlier and got to enjoy the ambiance more.. read more

I came in with a mobile order. The application didn't say out of stock on my drink or anything. I came in I was waiting and waiting and waiting for about 10 minutes to ask them about it due to the length of the line. Then I asked and was told they were out of what I wanted. Then I asked for some drink with almond milk and was told they were out. Then I asked for a strawberry refresher. Turns out they were out of strawberries. Service was just sluggish and a turn off to come back here again. I'd drive 10 minutes to another one just to have my order made right. read more

I told myself in the past never to return to this Starbucks because it takes so long to receive my order. Welp, I forgot. When I entered, I saw there was a long line and remembered how much I hated this Starbucks because they don't have enough people working, ever! However, I didn't want to leave because I was already there and decided to tough it out. I should have just left and went to another nearby Starbucks. Leaving and getting a Starbucks somewhere else would have been faster than waiting in line at this location. I waited over 25 min to receive my order. I vow never to return this time. My sister & I decided to order something on the mobile app. A plain bagel, bantam bagels, a cafe misto & a mango black tea. It said it would be ready in 5 minutes. I got there and only the bagels & cafe misto were ready. I waited a few minutes and saw them make other drinks. Finally after waiting a while i got the mango black tea. I was ready to leave & didnt check to make sure the orders were right only because i assumed they would be. (My mistake) I got home and realized that the bagel wasn't completely toasted, just warm. The bantam bagels were not the right kind They gave us an unsweetened green tea. No mango, no black tea and no sugar. To top it off when i went to drink my cafe misto it was extremely bitter. I opened it and you can tell they didnt put enough milk and probably no flavoring like i had asked. Very disappointed in this starbucks & really thinking if i should ever come back. read more

I will give this Starbucks a 4/5 rating. First off, in my experience I've never seen a busy place like this one hire Deaf people, well there is a guy that is and works here! I am proud of Starbucks for recognizing the need for people with Sign Language skills! Second, the coffee is great! They've never had issues with my coffee, and I get the almond milk in mine only! The service is good, and gets better as they hire better people. I've always had great service and the baristas see their regulars and are quite nice. To those whom they don't recognize, they are quite helpful too! When it's busy, they can be quite short, but not rude. Hope you get your fix! read more

Everytime I come to this one, it's a customer service disaster. I've been in restaurant service my entire life and amazed at how bad their service is. No management doing their job. I've been here 30 min so far and there's been a line out the door, 3 crew and no communication between them. They can't move the line let alone deal with trash and lobby. Ok so I am a Starbucks fanatic. I love Starbucks and everything about it..the staff, the drinks, the atmosphere the whole shebang! But this location is by far the absolute worst Starbucks I have ever been to. The employees aren't the friendliest and they are EXCRUCIATINGLY SLOW!! I normally use the app to order my drink ahead of time because I like to get in and get out. The other day I ordered my usual beverage BEFORE I arrived and legit waited 28 minutes until I got my drink. Great Starbucks location with everything on the menu. Had to come to this location from another that was I side a Tom Thumb grocery store due to them not having smoothie ingredients. Really? You're in a grocery store. Tons of people here working with laptops, the place is very clean and not too loud. Great outdoor seating too for when the weather is nice. No drive through at this location as it is on the end cap of a strip center in a larger retail complex. Easy to find with plenty of parking. read more

Do not come here if you have somewhere to be on time, as it will take you 20-30 min to get a coffee. I don't know if they're short staffed or if the staff just doesn't have any sense of urgency or both. They all look depressed and miserable. Not my favorite SB. Cashier did not know the about the promotion. When I told him, he denied of the promotion - even though it was on their menu/special board! When I pointed out, he simply said, "oh, I guess they've just added it." Well, the promotion has been going for 3 days... Tables and restroom were dirty. Rude rude rude rude...... why when I walk into this Starbucks I have to greet the girls at the cash register and then they cannot figure out who wants to help me. The place is dead there are maybe five people drinking coffees and one person waiting on a drink. This location needs to work on their customer service. I felt as if I was a burden coming in to spend my money. Maybe the girls did not want to work this Sunday morning but that is not my fault. Another customer walked in after me and the two girls at register were carrying a conversation on about not liking bananas, the customer went ahead said her order while they kept on. One of the slowest if not the slowest Starbucks I've ever been too. Waited over 15 mins for a simple Frap and there wasn't even a line.

I came here to do homework and for a tutoring session. The employees were very disruptive because they were being SO LOUD. I get that it's not going to be 100% quiet, but oh gosh, they were belting out lyrics to the songs playing in the background. I appreciate other locations more than this one a lot more after coming here because one couldn't concentrate with all the chaos the employees were creating. read more
