This is one of the few Starbucks that has a drive-thru. The drive-thru line gets long but on this occasion, it went surprisingly fast! I stopped going to Starbucks a long time ago, when they stopped serving their House Blend brewed coffee. Why did they stop serving their House Blend?! It was the most flavorful brew! You can still buy the coffee in supermarkets but it's just not served at Starbucks anymore. Someone gave me a gift card, so that's what brought me back to Starbucks. I was jonesing for a good cup of coffee this morning and decided to use my gift card. Went through the Drive-thru and the sign for their Iced Ube Coconut Macchiato caught my eye! Got the Grande size, which came out to $7. Used my gift card, which was easy-pezy. Customer service was friendly and efficient, and the drive-thru line went fairly quickly. I wish I could tell you how good my beverage was but I friggin dropped the drink in my car right after I took photos!! lol It was a big ole purple mess. It's a big store with lots of seating along the windows, along with a big cafeteria style table in the center of the store, if you don't mind sitting with strangers. I placed my order online and stood around for a few minutes after my drink was made, because the label with the order information was facing the staff instead of being visible to the customer. There were only a few customers in the store at the time but it was like the staff saw nobody as they didn't acknowledge anyone as they walked in or waited for their orders. Hello, I'd like to share some feedback regarding my experience today, June 7th, at approximately 5:50 p.m. at the Mineola, NY drive-thru location. Unfortunately, I had a very uncomfortable experience. Despite speaking clearly and repeating my order several times, I was not heard or acknowledged properly by the team taking my order. I have a soft but very direct voice, and still, I found myself having to raise it -- almost to the point of yelling -- just to be understood. That's not something I normally do, and it made me feel frustrated and quite disappointed. I love Starbucks and was looking forward to a peaceful moment with my iced coffee, but the lack of attention and communication made the experience unnecessarily stressful. As a daily Starbucks customer, I was looking forward to my free coffee on the day after Super Bowl. I made a mobile order for a tall hot coffee with 1/2 inch half n half. I went in and picked up my coffee and noticed through the lid that the coffee was dark. I opened the lid and asked the woman behind the counter if I could please have some more cream. She gave me a nasty look and yelled at her coworker saying in a nasty voice, "is the milk not out on the counter"? The woman said no and we ran out of half and half. They proceeded to tell me there was no more half and half and walked away. I then spoke up and asked if I could have whole milk. She gave me an attitude and took the milk out and poured it on my coffee which caused it to spill when I picked it up. I then had to ask for napkins since there was non on the counter. The woman screamed at me and yelled the napkins are over there! The entire store noticed this attitude. It was a horrible way to start my day. Clean spot and great customer care from the staff. I asked general questions while ordering since I always get the same thing. Being on a sugar restriction isn't easy. Entirely without prompting as I was picking up my order the manager asked me to wait. She had made me a custom plain Frappuccino and added sugar free vanilla to it. Then she detailed how to tell other locations to make it. That's not happening everywhere. Not my first experience here like that. Counter personnel are all great and the place is clean. Music makes working from here a challenge if you have calls to make. Parking is pesky here but it's my go to Starbucks location by far. read more

This location is big and bright (it's almost all windows) and the team here is as friendly as they get. People know... I like being greeted with a hello and a smile! For those who want to take advantage of it, we now have a location with a drive- through. Me, I like to walk inside. There is plenty of parking both in their lot and on the street. This location is big and there are plenty of tables and chairs to sit at, work at, and... relax at. They truly have a great team here. It's a big place with a very active drive through window. They manage to keep the crowd moving and honestly, I never had to wait too long to be served or pick up my drink. I like the community bulletin board here and the fact that their team is really community oriented. It's really a good group of people. I truly enjoy the Starbucks coffee, tea and cold drinks too. Starbucks built a great brand and team to stand behind it. I must say though, I do not understand the negative reviews??? What are these folks looking for here? Today I parked and no one wanted to let me pull out and let me exit through the exit so I went towards the entrance because I don't have 15 minutes of my time hoping someone will move out of the drive through line to let me exit, When heading towards the entrance this lady sat there blocking it so I couldn't exit she then put down her window and started being a usual Karen trying to enforce rules which isn't her job... Very disappointed in my coffee at this Mineola store. Don't mind paying almost $4.00 for a cup of coffee if the coffee taste good. One day I called to let them know how bad my coffee was and I was told that they are human and can make mistakes. That is not what I wanted to hear. After seeing a huge line for the drive thru, my husband and I went inside instead. I was very happy when this location opened. It's close to where I live, open late, and has a drive thru. What could go wrong? Lots. Almost every time I come here, they get my drink wrong. I order a Double Chocolate Chip CREAM Frappuccino. What do I get? A JAVA CHIP. I order the Cream Frap because I don't like coffee! You would think they would learn from they're mistakes, let alone learn how to read the labels that print out from the cup. Don't know how hard it is to discern "2 DblChoc Chip" from "Java Chip." I'm very wary about coming back because of this. I even went to another Starbucks near by and the staff there said they've heard a number of complaints about this store. I wish I can give zero star. It's my first time to this Starbucks, Jericho Turnpike, Mineola; and what a not so nice experience. I actually live just around the block so since I like Starbucks, I wanted to go. I've been a frequent Starbucks customer for 10 years while I was working then in midtown in Manhattan. So I had a mobile order of a bagel and an iced macchiato with no caramel drizzle which unfortunately, was served to me with a Caramel. I told the staff right away when I tasted that it's sweet and it tastes like caramel. But the smart staff insisted that its one pump of sugar. First of all, I didn't ask for a caramel drizzle and second, I certainly don't add any sweetener with my coffee. Obviously the staff was lying and was just trying to get things done without fulfilling customer's order. Good thing another staff clarified her it was specified in my order, no caramel. So I waited for them to change it and also waiting for a bagel with butter. And since it's been a while since I came to starbucks after my retirement from working in the city (3 months) And unknown to me that they have this scheme of putting a small pocket for the butter and condiments attached to the paper bag for the bagel- anyone will hardly notice it. So frustrated as I was at the very start of the situation, I tore the bag and saw there was no butter and knife for the warmed bagel I received. To my frustration, I got up and came forward to the counter and politely asked for a butter and the knife right away. But it's seems they don't seem to pay attention like they didn't hear me say something. So I'm in much louder voice for the second time I called their attention; and finally someone acknowledged what I was asking for but she passed the bucket to the staff who prepared my bagel. There were like 4-5 staff working and conversing altogether while I was standing there in the counter- plus the place is not even busy. I begged for a missing butter and knife for the the third time but this time I'm showing dissatisfaction and frustrations. Finally, the staff who prepared my bagel came up to me handing 2 wrapped butter spread and explained to me that the butter and knife is actually attached to the paper bag. So when I saw it, I immediately apologized. But one of the staff, (the one wearing a red hair band) who the whole time I was there right infront of me, who was ignoring me the whole time while I'm pleading for a butter and a knife suddenly decided to blurt out in a very condescending undertone "you have a nice day" and a smirking smile for a frustrated customer like me. I really can't believe what happened. It made me wonder how much are Starbucks employees are being paid nowadays that that they tend to miss to be courteous along with fulfilling and delighting customer's request. This is the cleanest Starbucks I have ever been to! I placed a mobile order on my way to work and this location was the most convenient. I was originally going to pickup my order at the drive-thru but there was a long line. I decided to park and go inside. When I walked in, I was pretty impressed. This location was very bright, and it just looked different from other locations. There was a sign that directed guests to mobile orders and the cashier to place an order. I also saw a long wooden table with hand sanitizer. Now this Starbucks' system with mobile pickup, especially during coronavirus, is the way it should be at all locations. Other locations have a bunch of orders at the pickup counter, and people go and grab their own drinks. Recently at another Starbucks, there was a guy basically touching EVERY SINGLE cup and looking at the name on the label. Like you should have an idea of what your drink looks like, why you are touching both hot and cold, coffee and tea, cups? So gross. Anyways, this location has the drinks behind the counter, when you walk up, they will ask you for the name on the order and then hand it to you. This is much more sanitary and efficient. I definitely don't want some stranger's grimey fingers touching my cup. The staff was very pleasant and everyone had a mask on. The lot is kind of a mess though bc of all the drive-thru traffic but overall, this location is great! read more

7 out of 10 times I go to this Starbucks they seem to get something with my order wrong. Last week, I went through the drive thru and ordered a "guava white tea" and what I got was white tea with no guava flavoring. I chalked it up to a common mistake. Today I went through the drive thru and asked specifically if they still have the "guava white tea" available, the cashier went to check for me and said they do. I placed my order and got my drink and AGAIN no guava. Now the guava is an additional cost to add but both times I was in a rush to be somewhere else so I was unable to go back and complain. I feel like either one of the baristas has NO idea what the guava is or they're just trying to bank on the up-charge but I'll definitely be avoiding this location if possible in the future. read more

I super appreciate this convenience when I NEED that cup of morning brew, but don't want to keep taking my little one in and out of the car a million times. It was quick and delici-o-so! (Sometimes it's hot or miss with coffee unless you get to make it yourself.) I know timing matters with drive-thrus, so FYI, it was Sunday morning around 11. I have been inside this location as well.
