When through the drive through around 2:10ish this afternoon order a small coffee with 1/2 & 1/2 pulled up to the window the coffee was not even warm. Told the nice lady at the window if I could get a new cup she said she. What I got was a steamed same cup of coffee that tasted like steamed water with 1/2 & 1/2. Mind you that I had taken a sip before asking for a new one, not that I have germs but they use those rags over and over again! Definitely nice having a drive thru Starbucks in town. Have frequented here several times and my drinks are always consistently good. Just one star less because sometimes the drive thru runs a little slow. But it won't stop me from coming back again. Getting my Starbucks fix from the comfort of my car will always win. read more

I felt very unwelcome sf by staff. I arrived with my brother and dogs at the window only to have the cashier rudely take away and hide the tip jar as we approached. She then in a very curt manner took my order. When my brother had an issue with his drink and went to ask for a remake she kept the same unwelcoming(racist) vibe. My overall experience was just weird and terrible and now just try not show up when I see she is at the window only so I won't be embarrassed by what ever micro aggression she wishes to display. read more

I've gone to this location a handful of times, every time there is an issue. First time I went they were all out of food, second the drive through was closed, third time they forgot the lemonade in my green tea lemonade. Overall this location is the worst in the area. read more

This Starbucks is one of my go to Starbucks! I know once I get in line even if it is long they will handle it and make it go smoothly. They always have their menu screen working so you can verify your drink order. They do not try to just rush you away at the window they make sure you have everything you ordered. Another reason that this is my fav Starbucks is because you can be unsure about your drink in the line and they will accommodate your order no problem if the recommendations were not what you expected. Drink consistency is always important and my drinks are always consistent every time. read more

Everyone who works there is super nice, never an issue with getting my order right or in a timely manner! My biggest issue is that it is RIGHT next to Monrovia High School so naturally EVERYONE is there in the morning. Good for Starbucks, bad for anyone else trying to weave around the line of cars down the block. Have seen a couple close calls with people in a panic trying to get out of the lot to either drop their kid off or go to work and almost clipping kids who are walking on the sidewalks. Also think it would be nice if they put some sort of cover over the exterior patio for the rainy season since there is no interior. read more

I live down the street so I'm here every other day. My recommendation is to not go to the walk up window and just hit the drive-thru no matter what. It's much faster even when there is hardly anyone at the walk up window. I've tried both, trust me. read more

I just went to the drive thru today around 3:40 and James was working and he was just super nice and had great customer service!!

First of all, I have been to this Starbucks numerous times. Yet, I have never required the level of customer service, provided today. I locked my keys in my car while I ran to get a online pick up order. Realizing I was stuck Priscilla H. , the manager at this location, took the initiative and offered to allow me to use her AAA. Had it not been for her I would still be in the Starbucks parking lot, waiting to pay $75 for a Auto Lockout. Priscilla has no idea what kind of assistance she provided me today. She was very gracious, and concluded this interaction with it happens to us all. I was extremely appreciative. And now I only go to one Starbucks. They got my back. First time at this Starbucks. I have never seen one like this and I thought the design was very nice. I came early morning so the line was pretty long but that was to be expected. It didn't take too long to get my order. I'm only giving 3 stars because there was something in my chai tea latte. I was walking the grocery store down the street, I took a swig and got a chunk of something in my mouth to where I immediately spit it out on the floor in the grocery store. I hate this Starbucks, the service is so slow and half the time the workers are just standing around. They are rude and never say thank you or have a nice day or apologize for the 15 minute wait. Let's see.. RUDE workers who fail at making a simple iced coffee. I've been here 4 times and every single time had a bad experience. The workers are SLOW and for some reason always have an attitude. God forbid you ask for some extra napkin or something. And they fail horribly at make a decent drink . Asked for iced coffee with a touch of hazelnut, and I got a cup full of hazelnut syrup and a slight hint of coffee. Terrible customer service from Brianne the "Manager" she has employees that flip the finger to each other in front of customers. The employees wait to finish a group of three orders while completed drinks sit there to give them out all at once. The employees are dressed sloppy and are very young that need extreme training on how to be professional. Wow! Starbucks takes customer service to a whole new level. I was told that the computer was temporarily down and the manager (or I assume the manager) came over to tell me that she was sorry for the inconvenience and that the drink I ordered was on them. The beauty of this is that I didn't make a fuss or even frown when I was told that the computer was down but the staff immediately went to problem solving mode--for me and others in line. I lost my wallet this past weekend and drove myself crazy trying to think of where I had left it. I retraced my steps from the point of where I thought I lost it, not even thinking to check the Starbucks that I visited that morning. After two days of searching through my car, the gas station, work, parking lots and my house I received a knock on my front door. Priscilla, the store manager was at my doorstep with my wallet in hand! I could not believe it. She said that the wallet was found at their location and when I didn't come back to pick it up after two days, she thought she would just drop it off for me (my drivers license gave her my house address). To my surprise, all credit cards & CASH remained untouched. I tried to repay her but she refused. This just goes to show there are still great people out there! Thank you so much Priscilla, you saved me from having to cancel my credit cards and visit the DMV for a new license! I visit this starbucks every morning and recommend it to anyone! I went the other day very early about 630 in the morning and ordered a snickerdoodle latte. The boy had no idea what I was asking for was very confused... and can I just say I was extremely upset when I got it. My drink tasted so disgusting. It honestly tasted like they gave me yesterday's coffee. No flavor in it all all. It was bitter it was burnt! It taste nothing like the one I had before. I have visited this location a handful of times. The last two times was within this past month for mobile orders. On both occasions, my mobile order was not started until I asked about it at the walk up window. This defeats the purpose of a mobile order. Also, today I ordered a green tea frap, and halfway through I noticed some kind of red-purple berry (I hope) in my drink. I am assuming it came from an improperly washed blender pitcher. The berry is likely harmless but a foreign object in your frap isn't something you want to see. read more

I ordered my coffee travelers for a company team building event the night before but when I came to pick them up they were not ready. What worse was that I stood at the pickup window for 3 minutes and none of the workers acknowledged me. I also didn't realize they forgot to give me the cups until I was half way to the team building event. I love Starbucks and invested heavily in the company stock. I've been coming to this Starbucks almost every morning for about two months, it's very convenient for me and definitely a plus that I don't have to get out of the car. As far as I know there isn't another drive thru Starbucks close by in Monrovia. The service is always 100% and they never once have missed up my order, my drinks and food always come out amazing. Sometimes the drive thru can be a little packed but it honestly moves pretty fast. I work far so I can't afford to be late to work, and they always make sure I'm right on time. The line has never been longer then 6 minutes to order my coffee and food, and pay for it. Which is just about the same time as any other Starbucks wait. read more
