This Starbucks brews the WEAKEST COFFEE EVER. It's not even half the strength of other Starbucks coffee. I live right down the street so this is the most convenient Starbucks for me but I'm constantly disappointed. I've complained to the staff on numerous occasions and some of them even agree. Whoever is running this place, please go have a cup of coffee at another Starbucks (take notes), you are doing something wrong. Get it together! read more

A lot of new staff (at least at nights) in the last month or so. A couple of them almost seemed aggressively gleeful as they inform people that the hours have changed, the store will be closing in 15 minutes and that the customers, used to longer opening hours at that store, will have to leave soon. Unfortunately, they only say that after charging for the coffee. Time to find another place for coffee and late night studying. Also, one of them was sweeping the floor and then decided to clean the chairs by using that same broom to sweep off the seats. When another customer pointed out that that was unsanitary (and being a bit flippant said that 'at least if you are going to use the floor broom on seats you might not want to do it in front of customers who will be grossed out'), the barista answered "we have to get out of here just after closing, so I have to clean now". A follow-up comment that the point was that the practice was unsanitary resulted in the employee shrugging her shoulders and moving off. read more

A change in the General Manager at this location and the store has completely turned around. The staff has a much better attitude. Some of the staff that were an issue are no longer around. It's obvious that I'm not the only one to notice as there are more customers in the store and they were selected to be one fo the first to have the Nitro Cold Brew. read more

This is MY Starbucks :) Great group of baristas and fun manager. Though I recently moved to another part of town, I pass up two other Starbucks to come to this one. It is a busy store with a few schools (including a high school) within walking distance, so getting in and out fast in the mornings is not going to happen. Plus, it's located next to a Pizza My Heart and a Jamba Juice, so there is a lot of traffic in and around the store. That said, I come for the conversations and familiarity. This is not a review of Starbucks as a company, but of this particular location. I love Starbucks and frequent it. This location, however is the worste that i have ever been to, and I have been here a lot. They are incapable of any urgency, despite the fact that the majority of people that go into a Starbucks in the morning are looking to get in and out as soon as possible. At 7 in the morning you are looking at a minimum of 10 mins to order and get your coffee. At most other Sturbucks locations, you can expect a maximum of 5 mins. If you have a choice of locations I would avoid this one. read more

Quality control has gone down recently :-( I've been going to this Starbucks for about 15 years. Yesterday I ordered a Salted Caramel Mocha Frapuccino (I know, it's a really frilly drink but it's delicious and satisfies my pregnancy and sugar cravings). There were about 4 customers ahead of me in the order line and I stood waiting to order for about 15 minutes. Then the barista didn't put caramel on my drink...I know it sounds picky but the caramel topping is totally the best part of these drinks! He was kind and added it when I asked him to. Then I got on the road and took a sip and it was a chai frapuccino! I was pretty disappointed but too far away to turn back, already miles away on the freeway. The baristas are very friendly at this Starbucks. Some of them know my drink and others don't. I like that I don't need to really order anything to use their free wifi and get some work done. This Starbucks is usually packed with students and professionals trying I get some work done. It's also located by other places to eat and is open pretty late, which are major pluses! read more

This Starbucks location is great. Its a convenience to stop by and grab my drink before heading out to work or other places. I live near El Camino so its my road of travel. I have been coming to this location for years and have never experienced anything negative. Sometimes I stop by even 2-3 times in one day. One day, they were doing this promo where you come back with your receipt after 2pm you will get a tall iced drink for only 2 dollars. I went back and I showed the cashier my receipt. He said he knows I'm always in there so he gave me a grande instead! Most of them know my name and my usual drink so it cuts down on the time to wait in line to tell the cashier my drink! It's a Starbucks so pretty hard to go either was and bump up or down based on stars because they really don't change all that much....but this location was super convenient to our hotel. I actually should've walked because driving over took more time by the time you waited at the lights. Anyway nicely laid out location with lots of room for people to spread out and do their thing. Also what was nice was the ever so friendly barista that took my order as well as the one making my drink. I also really liked the fact that the guy in front of me looked like he crawled out from under a rock, but the barista knowing this same guy most likely comes in every day and asks for the same sample cup of coffee....met it with a smile and even asked if he wanted a little water in the coffee which lead me to believe this wasn't the first time. But smiles and all, treated with respect and dignity. Nice job! read more

No complaints except for the lady that kinda took too long in the restroom.. But, it gave me more time to relax in the cafe. Parking was packed for a Sunday of course but, I found a nice spot in the shade. Left my windows down while I was inside. While the other drink shop around the corner was packed, Starbucks had a nice calm cafe with plenty of available seats and outlets. No line when I walked in and prompt service. The guy with gauges, glasses and some scruff helped me out and even suggested a new twist to my cool lime refresher. Had it with no lime and black iced tea instead of the water. Definitely on point, smooth, cool and still has black tea caffeine and that green caffeine boost. The service is exactly what Starbucks should be, and how it used to be years passed! Legendary. Genuine. Knowledgable. He even conversed with me about the drink. The two on shift worked together, showed no stress and discretely told each other tasks. Good deployment and roles. I appreciate it. I felt like a valued person. Others had good vibes too. Strangers shared talk about a book a guy was reading and the music that was playing. Service has sped up, if the baristas know you they'll have your order ready by the time you're rung up typically, they stay open later than any other Starbucks in Mountain View, and the employees have always been super friendly to us. My mochas are always perfect, the baristas KNOW how to mix drinks. It's also one of the cleanest Starbucks around (look at the bar sometime compared to others). read more

I've been going to this particular Starbucks for quite some time and it's usually pretty good, but recently it's gone a little downhill. The staff is friendly, but I find myself having to constantly remind them to put my breakfast in the oven (usually after I've already received my drink) and they've helped a few customers. When I go to Starbucks I expect to get a certain ambiance. I expect the staff to be reasonable and pleasant. Well I got bad vibes here, in particular from an employee Vera, who was acting kinda strange. Like she was high and out of it and not well aware of what was going on around her. She was making those around her uncomfortable, lacking understanding and overall acting weird. And, why was she rudely asking a gentleman what he was doing when he was clearly looking for a table to sit at. Also, staring at a patron for an extended period of time is rude. Now this isn't the worst behavior I've seen at a Starbucks, but it's entirely unacceptable and I don't need to be seeing it when I'm at a coffee shop or otherwise. I am ashamed of you. read more

I placed a mobile order in order to beat the line and get in and out quickly to get back to work. The order was placed at 7:11 am. The app says it should take 3-7 minutes. I walked in within 2 minutes of ordering, there was about 7 people in line. I managed to use the bathroom and have all the people in line get all their orders before I had to go to the front to ask about my order. The barista said the girl was making it, so I proceeded to go to the pick up side and waited another 8 minutes as I noticed no one was making my drink so I finally had to ask the barista making the drinks about my drink. ( as I noticed she had not been making an cold drinks like I had ordered).She had apparently forgotten about it and proceeded to finally make it. When I finally got my order it had been 7:39 am. If I knew mobile orders are not put as a priority I would have just stood in line. I left pretty annoyed and lost part of my work time. I didnt like how the orginal barista I had asked about my order didnt even bother to check to see if the other barista was actually making my drink. Never coming here again for mobile orders. read more

Great service here! I order mocha frapp and coffee cake here. They get crowded during sun afternoon...but the service are pretty fast.
