I was standing at the glass for a while before being acknowledged. Someone finally came over, and I asked if the Ube Black Sesame cookie was vegan since the display writing was a bit smudged. The staff member confirmed, so I got that cookie and a Gingersnapperdoodle since I loved it before. I also asked about the Brownie, but did not receive a very helpful reply. My question: Is the brownie very rich? The response: It's like any other brownie. I'm not a fan of chocolate items that are super rich, and some brownies are fudgy, but some are more mild. I'd expect someone working there to be a bit more helpful and descriptive. I ended up not getting a brownie. Lowering my rating because the service was subpar, and the Ube flavor was nonexistent in the Ube Black Sesame cookie. The Gingersnapperdoodle was still yummy like before, but had a more sandy texture than last time.

I was still skeptical about it, but since the employee confirmed it was order, we just left after we all got our drinks. After leaving, I tried my drink (which I should had before I left) and it was definitely coffee and it was super strong (I do not like or drink coffee at all). No juices (and they've never had them) even though they're on the menu. Food came out randomly. Our 5 year old got his order last even though we asked that it come out first. When we added a hot chocolate with the server, nothing came out after 15 minutes. So I walked in. There were 5 staff behind the counter. 3 were on their smartphones. 2 were joking with each other. When I finally got one of their attention, I asked about the drink. They said it would come out. Kiddo needed to go to the bathroom. Floorboards were rotten and torn on the walk over. Grimy, gross sink with that film on the door that you see in dive bars. We wait 10 minutes. Still no drink. I go back in with the boy and stand over the the barista so that they'd hand us a hot chocolate. Food was good, but with service and ambience like that, might as well go to a Starbucks. We tried the matcha cold foam with pandan and the iced matcha latte ($6-8 a drink) with lemon poppy foam. They tape a little fresh flower on your drink too.
