At this time on a Sunday morning, Mrs. K. and I were the only ones in the place and that was nice. The dining area was tidy, clean and I was able to crank out a couple of Yelp reviews before the Sun started to brighten the parking lot. First of all, I didn't even get a "Welcome In" as I walked in. I got "everything will take 25 minutes." Like what the hell. I've never had a Starbucks refuse customers. I got my drink in 5 minutes, not 25. The second I sat down, they kept refusing customers, even telling one older couple "It will take 55 minutes," like bitch, coffee doesn't take a damn hour. If this is their business tactic, to only serve locals, then they need to go ahead and shut down. You don't refuse customers. You accept them. On a brighter side, my coffee was good. I got a Caramel Frappe with oat milk and whipped cream and the potato chive bakes, all of which was great. The overall look to it is wonderful. But the shitty customer service puts a veil over all of that. Either fix yourselves or just shut down. Even as I'm currently writing this, they keep refusing people. Fix yourselves. The person working the drive thru was so chipper and friendly. The Chai latte with strawberry cold foam was amazing. The little strawberry crunchies on top were a fun surprise. It came out super quick and I have no complaints at all. read more

I love coming to this location! Lets start with the service. KJ is very smart and kind. She remembers me everytime I come in and what I usually order. She always has a great attitude that brightens the day. She's awesome and the rest of the staff are all great also with smiling faces but I haven't interacted with them as much. The lobby is awesome also. Plenty of outlets to plug into with a good variety of couches, cushioned chairs, and tables. Its very comfortable and accommodating. The patio area is nice also as there is plenty of room to enjoy nice days. The coffee is great and you get a free refill which is nice when your staying for awhile to work on the laptop. The parking is also pretty good and they have a very large lot so there is always a space available outside. The bathrooms are clean and so is the lobby. 10/5 stars thank you guys! read more

Refreshers are always extremely watered down. Even if you pay extra for more base. $7 for a drink that is just colored water. This location is horrible for it. We used to stop often for drinks here, but after many times of this occurring we decided to just stop. read more

Stopped by Starbucks and decided to try the Grande Cinnamon Dolce. Overall, it was just okay. The cinnamon flavor was there, but it wasn't as bold as I was expecting--kind of subtle, which was a bit disappointing. The drink was also a little too sweet for my taste, even though I usually enjoy sweet drinks. The coffee itself was smooth and the warmth of the cinnamon was pleasant, but I was hoping for a bit more of a punch from the flavor. It's a decent choice if you want something cozy, but nothing that stands out or makes it a must-try. As always, the service was quick and friendly, but for the price, I'd probably go with something else next time. read more

It's a Starbucks. This Starbucks gets our attention because of its closeness to Publix - and ability to access it really easily off of the main roads. For whatever reason, all week, this location has been extremely slow. We gave up waiting in the drive thru, and we always order our drinks ahead with 10 (or more) minutes to spare on their estimated times. This is not the location we'd go for if speed (at the moment) is important to you. PROS: -Located right next to Publix; this makes it super-easy to grab-and-go if you're already getting groceries. -Two dedicated Pick-up parking spots. As this Starbucks is opposite the Publix, though, it's usually pretty easy to get a spot even if the pick-up spots aren't open. -Located right off one of the main drags of Myrtle Beach; it's easy to pop in. -It's a Starbucks; you generally know what to expect and the Starbucks in your hometown is likely serving the same stuff this one is. That's pretty nice. -Easy parking, nice drive-through. -Order was always made correctly. No issues with poorly-made drinks. CONS: -We've ordered our drinks for pick-up a few times, and even after arriving later than the expected "done" time, the drinks still hadn't been started. It's not the end of the world, but it definitely looks like they're shorter staff and/or training new babies. -The drive thru can be really slow too. read more

At the time I write this, I've been coming to this Starbucks regularly for over 2 years. It's my local go to coffee jam and I have way over 100 check-ins at this location. Basically, I know just about everything a customer could know about this Starbucks....so....here's what you need to know... The employees here by and large are rock stars. Sure, there's always gonna be an employee or two that hate corporate or hate customers and it can kinda show, but I've found pretty darn consistently that the workers here love what they do, which means they care about what they do, and they care about how we customers are treated. I will admit that with probably 200 visits under my belt to this location, there's been a couple screw ups with my orders, but only maybe 2x and in each instance my order was remade immediately, correctly, and apologies were made to me. I've always been satisfied with the customer service of making things right at this location if they dropped the ball. If your order is incorrect or things don't taste right, let them know! Seriously, they will totally remake your drink if necessary and they'll be cool about it too. This location is part of a large grocery store chain strip mall and at busy tourist times, even the large parking lot can be difficult to find a spot, so be aware. You can always park in the rear lot behind Peno's Mediterranean Grill/Fleet Feet Sports if you need to. They do have 4 to 5 outdoor tables at this location as well, plus 2 dedicated mobile order pick up parking spots directly in front of this store's entrance. Yes, they have a drive-thru!!!! Personally, I probably mobile order my drink/food order 90 percent of the time because I hate waiting in lines and my order is nearly always waiting for me when I arrive. I definitely suggest doing the same if you have the Starbucks mobile app. The interior seating is composed of 8 tables with chairs, and two long bar tops, each with 4 chairs and both bar tops have electrical outlets for you to charge your electronica as well as hooks for your bag/purse/backpack. The front corner of the store near the windows is equipped with 4 comfy chairs and end tables too. One thing that I love about this location too is the communication!!! The manager will put signs up in various places telling customers if store hours are changing or if they are out of certain menu items so you can choose an alternate selection prior to arriving at the register. 2 gender neutral bathrooms are located near the rear of the store as well. Finally, be aware to pick up your mobile order right next to the register and not at then end of the counter. Just look for the sign hanging from the ceiling that says "Mobile Order-- pick up here." read more

COFFEE SUCKS... I hate Starbucks but I was desperate to get a coffee for my mom who's in the hospital. The cafeteria has better crap the here. I got her a decaffeinated coffee, so simple with cream & sugar. Big mistake!! It was not only bitter but burnt. I myself even got a large pumpkin latte & now I know why I goto Dunkin' Donuts. I use to work at a Starbucks & ever since I seen had they ripped people off I knew it was time to go. The only thing that was decent was the service but the coffee went down the drain, literally. Never again & now I know why I stayed away for so long. They just opened one right by my Dunkin & I've thought about going to Starbucks but now I know it's not worth it just a waste of money. read more

This Starbucks is in a good location as it's right off the highway, and it's next to a publix food store so it's easy to grab a cup of coffee and go food shopping with. The Starbucks staff was very nice , cashier was very detail with the different drink options they have . I ended up getting my usual ice coffee which was made consistently from other Starbucks I've been too. I did like that the drinks were made pretty quick so it was definitely convenient to get back on the road as I'm just passing through. They did have a drive through which looked efficient, I just prefer To go inside and grab my coffee. read more

Visiting Myrtle Beach for my birthday weekend and waiting for our reservation at Blueberry Cafe. We're a fan of coffee and SB was across the way so why not burn some time and chat. We ordered the Italian Dark Roast which was literally luke warm which I never understand why SB serves it still. We asked for a new cup but they needed to make a new batch. We ended up getting our regular Pike which was hot and just right. The staff was extremely welcoming but I have to say when we came back to request hotter coffee we stood in an empty line for a few minutes before we were recognized. Literally had to wave the cashier down because 3 people were all huddled near the drive thru I believe. Anyway still an overall good experience. read more

If you've been to one Starbucks you've been to them all. I got a French vanilla cappuccino. It didn't have enough sweetener in it, the ones you make yourself at Spinx and QuickTrip are much better. If I could give less than one star I would. "Covid related staffing issues" is NOT the problem at the 82nd Ave location. I don't know what's going on there but it's been bad for a while and getting worse. Today for example, I mobile ordered my coffee at 1:34 pm. My friend and I sat there until 2:03pm waiting. )it was completed at 2:05) I finally went up to tell them that if it wasn't out in the next 5, I wanted my money back. Prior to my going up, my friend who was also looking for hers asked about mine. She was told that the mobile ordering had "got turned off but it's back on now" SERIOUSLY??????? How does that happen? Most recently, I've been doing everything to avoid this location. For some reason we chose to come today. There were at least a dozen people waiting for what sounded like a very long time (based on their grumblings) People in line left, the garbage bins are literally overflowing, there are no napkins. This place is the bottom of the barrel. To pay over $6 for a coffee, (that wasn't even made right) and have to deal with all the other stuff is ridiculous.
