Great ambiance. Great service. Lots of young college students. If your an old guy do t make direct eye contact. Safest place in New Haven. Hangout for New Haven police, Yale Police, Yale security guards, EMTs , Fire department, homeland security agents (federal building nearby), FBI .

Sad corporate mess...

This company has slipped so much from its original mission and standards that it is unrecognizable. Traditionally, Starbucks was a place where adults would find a calm peaceful place to relax and have a coffee. Now it is a fast-paced, in-and-out, poorly- conceived teenage hangout. The music is cranked to ten, ubiquitous pop, the lines are long, the service is very slow (unless you are at the drive through) and they microwave their gummy bagels. Toasted would take too long. Also, the last straw is you can't pay without pressing "No Tip" on the device that the employee (who would presumably be receiving the tip) is holding in their hand. Corporate mess. No thanks.

Just sharing my tremendous disappointment with reality vs promise One of those sandwiches looks good enough to eat. The other.... well would you spend $6.85 for that?

My husband and I stopped in this location on our way to Vermont. It's a rather large Starbucks, along what seems to be the main strip in this college town. It was clean and well staffed... the cashiers and baristas were all very friendly in what appeared to be a rather busy location. They made my drink and it tasted just as I expected. Because we were on a road trip, we also used he restrooms - they were clean enough and at least there wasn't a huge line. If I were to complain about anything, it was just a little slower than I would have liked, but overall was a fine experience. We also really thought the town itself seemed neat and will probably be back for a visit to the area

Side by side comparison. Surprisingly I preferred the Juniper. But in reality will never order either again.

Typical Starbucks with typical offerings. On a college campus so lots of seating. Unfortunately the WiFi was weak and there was a serious lack of outlets. Service was super slow in store. But super fast if you ordered on the app.

How can you dig in your eyes and wipe your nose with your hand, then serve drinks and food? I guess hand washing is not an option!!!

This was some good coffee!…read more This was our first stop off the train from NYC. We needed a pick me up and energy for that infamous food crawl we were about to get into. So thankful it was in the quiet and quaint neighborhood of New Haven. Such a beautiful area. Very close to all the spots I had bookmarked. Cool coffee shop I gotta say. Spacious and clean. Just the actual vibe alone was relaxing. This is one of those locations where you can actually come sit and not be bothered. Few people inside were working on their laptops, some were just conversing with their friends. The barista was super friendly and worked fast. One thing I noticed and was wowed on was they serve wine as well. I mean how cool is that. Felt like I was at France for a minute, where the cafes serve coffee, tea and qwasonts during the day, and cocktails at night. Very chill. Can't thank them enough for how clean the bathroom was as well. All in all great coffee and service.

Not a lot of favor and no sweet at all which I thought that was interesting. The server did over to add more honey but I opted out because I was in a rush. They seemed business though. A lot of people inside on a winter day doing work. Maybe try a coffee , but they're no Latte Pedaler, at least to me.

This place is amazing. Full stop. Would come all the time if I were local!…read more FOOD: Bagels. Interesting cream cheeses. Cookies. Yum. Sadly they were out of the Cacio Pepe bagel but I would 100% come back for it. SERVICE: 10 stars out of 5. The people here are super super nice! AMBIANCE: Some outdoor seating. Cute. I'm a big bagel stickler and having just arrived from NYC, I thought I've seen it all. My best friend suggested Olmo, claiming that their bagel is the best she's ever had. In truth, I didn't believe her, but i walk away from this experience as an Olmo diehard fan. Their bagels are absolutely brilliant. Tens, elevens even, across the board. I've truly never had anything like it. Their flavors are unique with a Zaatar and Cacio bagel; candidly, I was too much of a purist to try them this time around and opted for the safe yet mildly experimental Rosemary bagel. Stop everything you're doing. Book the flight. Try this. Its crust is crackly with a bubbly top, almost akin to that of high quality sourdoughs, yet the interior is plush with a quintessentially dense bagel crumb. God, there's no limit to the amount of praises I can sing about this. The flavors with the okonomiyaki are well balanced also with the sweet tangy bbq contrasting the luscious, creamy egg omelette. It's really REALLY hard to choose a favorite though as I tried their lox, okonomiyaki, white fish, and cinnamon raisin shmear, and all of them were excellent in their own right. The workers are also incredibly kind and accommodating, working fast to complete every order efficiently. Olmo's so good I had four of their bagels within a 24 hour period. Does it really get any better than this?
