Today was my first time tenuring this location...definitely my last. I have been to locations all over the US and today was the first time I've received a burnt croissant. It was very hard even though it was piping hot. And what really has me frustrated is that they weren't even busy. Additionally my mocha tasted watery. I generally don't care for chain stores but I will make an exception for this one. I love visiting it. The staff is super nice and helpful. There's an excellent selection of drinks and snacks. The shop itself is roomy and sunny and feels very inviting. Im a musician and a writer and for some reason the outside tables are the perfect place for me to write. Im working on a new play and Ive probably written half of it at this Starbucks location, sustained by coffee and snacks. Warmly recommended! read more

This location has the usual foodstuffs and coffees offered by any Starbucks. It is located in a beautiful "new" clean store, this is my primary reason for coming here. The coffee's best attribute is its consistency. If you like Starbucks, you will find this location's coffee very good. The location itself is staffed by people who are for the most part efficient, and can be on occasion pleasant, but are more often indifferent even to regular patrons. Assistant managers are likewise efficient. The general manager is not always considerate, or consistent, in her ability to address a patron's concerns. read more

Usually I would put 5 stars but today I found out they discontinued the glazed doughnut. I am beyond angry because I have been eating these glaze doughnuts since I was 4 years old. As a Starbucks lover who goes everyday this has hit me hard. BRING BACK THE GLAZE DOUGHNUTS!!!!! read more

OK! Atmosphere Unfortunately this is the type of generic buildout that discourages casual discussion. The one-size fits all space is too cavernous to be intimate. The loud acoustics make personal conversations difficult. Contactless App One of the few spots uptown where you can order ahead and pick up a hot breakfast sandwich. Regardless, I do miss the $4 egg, sausage, and jalapeño cheese burritos at the old Circle K across the street. read more

Mr. Hunter took care of me soon as I walked in. Greeted with a smile and can I help you. This location has very limited street parking but has a parking lot on the side of the establishment. If walk ins in the morning are a rush I would prefer to order ahead of time like the majority of the locals do with no drive thru. Also this location is a block away from a school zone so drive slow and be mindful of the pedestrians. read more

It seems like the customer service at a lot of these Starbucks locations is on a serious decline. Either they don't make the drinks right or they take forever to make a drink when there are not many people in the lobby. And the leadership is just... inadequate. At this particular location, they both didn't make my drink right, and took forever to make it because the two baristas working were holding an entire conversation with their coworker who came in as a customer on his off day. I watched as they stopped making the drinks for customers who came before the coworker, to make the coworkers drink that he didn't even pay for, and then proceed to hold a 10 minute conversation while the line of customers who'd ordered before him piled up. When I finally got my drink, it wasn't made correctly and was way too hot. I asked to speak to the shift leader, but was met with the GM instead. I explained to her that I watched her baristas hold a 10 minute conversation with their off-duty coworker, while customers were waiting for our drinks to be made and served. She spoke to me in a very condescending tone and proceeded to explain to me that when coworkers come in on their off days, they are customers as well. I explained to her that I used to work at Starbucks, so I'm very well aware of that. I told her that I, and other people ordered our drinks before he got there, but had to wait until he left to get them, and since he was customer, he should have been treated like a customer and made to wait in line for his drink like the rest of us. She apologized to me and proceeded to say "I understand it's frustrating when you're not being seen." I will add here that I am a black woman and the GM was a white woman. I'm assuming with the rise of discourse in racial issues, and a lot of black people expressing that they feel unseen and unheard, she assumed I was complaining about that, but I wasn't. My issue was not with being "unseen." My issue was with being poorly serviced after spending my well earned money in this establishment. And it's not just this Starbucks location. It's seems like it's ALL of the Starbucks locations. I have friends who live in Florida that complain about the same issues.. poor service. It doesn't really matter much to me if a barista holds a conversation with me while I order my coffee, as it does that my order is put in correctly, my coffee is made the way I ordered it, and it's given to me in a time frame that is reasonable for the amount of customers waiting in the lobby. read more

I really don't like to write bad reviews but I just have to get this off my mind. The African American lady (I am also African American) that work the front cash register, she seems to be in her late 30's. She always get my order wrong and my name. I feel like she does it on purpose. I always have to get my drinks remade Every time I go there, I feel like she only does it with me and she must be jealous or something because if she did to it everyone else I doubt she would be there still.. This location is closer to me but I'm sorry to say I won't be back anymore. read more

I just moved to NOLA and this was my first time coming to this Starbucks. I was pleasantly very surprised, the inside is so open and amazing to do work at. It's very clean, modern, and amazing. Victoria at the cashier is so sweet and so is Cher who made my drink. My drink was made perfectly, with light ice, exactly how I wanted it! The service was very fast and it made my day. Thank you Victoria and Cher! I highly recommend coming here to do work! Also, everytime someone comes in they say Hi to them, so sweet! read more
