This is one of the worst Starbucks I have visited in recent times. The barista had a smirk on the entire time I tried placing an order. Nothing was basically available. The oven was down. So no sandwiches can be made to-go. The coffee machine was down. Oh the tea or other drink syrups for just about everything was unavailable. Oh I can't use the Starbucks card. Can't scan for rewards. No Apple Pay available either. Apparently the POS was also down too. So was my mood thanks to the barista behaving also like a POS. Jesus Christ, I have never been to a Starbucks this bad! And to top it off, my drink was sickly sweet and the lid busted open halfway between the store and to my gate. I'm not as regular anymore with cutting back on Starbucks. It's been a long time since my original and I no longer view them as a 4 star. This Starbucks is located in the main atrium. My downgrade is due to consistently slow, or absent service. On a recent visit with no one other than me in line two staff were just chatting, I left without merchandise that was a Christmas gift mug. The times had their products I've enjoyed and this is why only a slight downgrade to a 3 star. I'm sure I will be back since I'm in the airport often. read more

According to their website, this Yelp listing and the airport map, this location should be open at 850am in a Saturday....but it is not. Closed up and really a pain in the rear bc once you enter the terminal, you cannot go back out. And there aren't any other coffee options (or breakfast for that matter) on the co course. The ladies who worked here in the late morning/early noon of my flight (10/3/2023) were incredibly wonderful! They were a joy to interact with when I placed 3 separate orders of Virginia mugs, Mango Dragon Fruit Lemonades, breakfast sandwiches and pastries. This Starbucks is located at Norfolk International Airport (ORF) past TSA / security checkpoint in Concourse B near gates 17 & 18. I was able to get a late breakfast and have a pastry to eat in-flight. The ambiance is quite busy given it is in the airport but, regardless of that, it's the people that made the difference: What I loved about this Starbucks was the service. They (and not just one but all the workers) wished us a safe flight and I thought that was such a nice gesture from a a whole team of staff working at the busy airport. Since I fly Delta almost exclusively if I can help it - this is the Starbucks inside the B terminal for Delta and is right by gate B17. So I use this one the most at this airport. Lines can get long but the staff are super friendly and helpful and far kinder here than at the Starbucks just outside the TSA terminal areas in the main part of the airport. Usually well-stocked with all the baked and warm up goodies, and they do mobile orders here as well. Today, our barista was the sweetest gal. Going out of her way to answer my husband's questions and just genuinely pleasant and kind. The bar seating has wall chargers and you can set up a laptop and work for a while too which is nice. Very pleasant experience here and I've had several on recent trips. read more

Early on a Friday morning, there were only 2 people behind the counter and there was a long line. At some point, they stopped doing counter service and were exclusively serving mobile orders. Many customers in line were getting upset and left without being served because their flight was boarding. It makes no sense to leave the counter customers hanging for 45 minutes and it was probably longer but I had to go to my gate to board my flight. Managers, listen up: a simple solution would be to alternate serving mobile orders and counter orders. The are some items, for instance orange juice that can't be ordered online. Considering CV19 is an issue for lines, this Starbucks does a good job of getting everyone serviced and off to their gates. Food selection is decent and at this point it's the only place open for a "hot" meal in the morning. This Starbucks across from the A9 gate is 5 stars only in the category of Airport Starbucks. This Starbucks is like a home away from home. It actually feels like I am sitting in an actual Starbucks near home or in the cities I've been to. There are several tables and outlets where I can charge my phone or even get on a laptop if I had one. It's a fun people watching spot as well because there are always so many different types of people at the airport. The baristas are all really friendly and smile and prepared our drinks amazingly. Justin's Iced caramel macchiato is awesome and my iced venti passion tea was exactly what I wanted. It's pretty hard to screw up, but having had bad experiences I can appreciate this little thing :). This was not a good Starbucks. I picked up a venti iced coffee right after landing. While the woman at the register was friendly, the person who made my coffee kinda sucked. I just wanted soy milk and 4 pumps of raspberry syrup in my venti iced coffee. She pumped the syrup first, then the ice, then the soy milk, and topped it with the coffee. It made for a nice layering visual effect, but the syrup kinda froze at the bottom. I could've lived with it and mixed it myself, but the price increase due to its airport location was ridiculous. Here we are again. Great ole Starbucks. Just passing through the terminal needing that small sip of caffeine energy. My fiancé purchased coffee frappuccino w/coconut milk. I got two sandwiches: turkey w/cheddar cheese and ham w/Swiss and a slice of banana nut bread on the side. My brother got the southwest chipotle sandwich. Prices are just like any other Starbucks so no grunt there. Their seating is the usual tables and chairs along with a couch for some relaxation. The barista Alicia served us today. Recently revamped, this is a great little Starbucks in the A terminal (next to gate A6). The staff are always friendly to me and serve my order up quickly. I also have never had a drink made wrong or taste bad from this location! They have fresh pastries and sandwiches and even my favorite, packages Madeleine cookies. There are a few tables inside, but the interior is small as with most airport "to go" Starbucks. I've continuously had excellent experiences here and will continue to frequent it as long as they're here. Probably the best "Airport Starbucks" I have ever been to (and I've been to many) and so grateful for their 24/7/365 schedule. Born and raised in Seattle and a Starbucks Barista for many years in and around Seattle, I am overly-picky (though I try not to be) about my coffee and my Starbucks experience. While this place gets busy and are sometimes understaffed for the volume, they bust their butts to make it work! This is the nature of coffee shops. This particular location is not corporate run, but they're still subject to a set of relatively rigorous standards as a licensed store regarding product quality and service standards... I think they do a great job! I've ordered everything from drip coffee to hot chocolate here and it's always great. Even at 12:30 am, they have a smile to offer their customers and a few kind words if they feel like chatting. Keep it up! From Chicago to Norfolk to even the airport, I will follow you anywhere Starbucks! This Starbucks was great! Very fast and efficient as well as friendly. I think any place that has the time to tell me to "Have a nice day." deserves a good review! Even though this is located in the airport (where space is limited), this Starbucks was still able to fit at least four tables, a counter table which seats probably 6 people, and two cushioned armchairs. The music was also great. I dont know what they had on their soundtrack but I knew all the songs and sang along with it! A great place to lounge while you are waiting for your flight. read more
