It tasted like focus, with subtle notes of questioning my life choices--in a good way. The atmosphere felt like a place where time either slows down or speeds up depending on how long you stare at your cup. The barista seemed to understand my order before I said it, which was comforting and mildly unsettling. I left more awake than when I arrived, but not entirely sure if it was because of the coffee or the existential clarity it provided. Either way, I'll definitely be back, unless I already am.

The area was clean and the cute interior makes for a good social media photo op. The menu has good variety and explorative flavors that encourages repeat visits. I got a Mango Milk Tea and was not disappointed. It gave a Mango Lassi vibe and was very refreshing. My only downside was the bottom of the drink tasted gritty and had a white residue left at the bottom. Also, I initially wanted the drink with light ice and this was my first encounter at a shop that charges extra for light ice (45 cents). Not a huge deal and I understand that companies incur more costs for light ice or no ice. Maybe I could justify the additional charge for getting the drink without ice, but I still wanted ice---just not a lot of it. I just would've like to have been told about it or seen some signage about the additional charge since the toppings and other add ons are listed out. I could've missed where it was listed out, but I don't think I saw anything written out. Nonetheless, after a few healthy gulps, I was sad that the drink was gone. I would come back to try other items.

But the moment you…read morewalk in that all goes away, you're greeted by intoxicating aromas that satisfy the doubt of "just another trendy coffee shop", especially if you catch them baking the incredible sweet treats that they offer! As basic as it sounds, get the chocolate chip cookie and DONT scrape off the salt. It's INCREDIBLE!! Above that the coffee they serve here is truly top notch, so many different notes in so many different brewing methods... if you truly love coffee, come here and don't be afraid to explore something off your usual path. The incredible team behind the scenes at the Highland Creek store has been absolutely incredible. Welcoming a new patron with open arms and making sure I leave completely satisfied gives you that feeling that you're not just another customer. Especially if you engage in conversation of their offerings. Summit might be classified as a "chain" due to their multiple storefronts... but this one runs like a small business that cares. Some working, some ordering to go, some hanging out with friends. The playlist was jamming! Was my first time here and was easy to order. The menu is on the wall and they have the seasonal menu there as well. I got the brown sugar cinnamon latte, warmed. It was good but not super strong in flavor. A hint but not milky if that makes sense. I'd order jt again. And it's reasonably priced. A little over $6 for a 16. oz. THEY DO NOT CHARGE EXTRA FOR MILK SUBSTITUTES!!!! I love that concept and wish all places did the same.

I read through some of the other reviews and I want to set the record straight. Yes, it's inside a church but there is a separate entrance. Yes, there are Christian books but also other genres. Yes, the coffee is very affordable BECAUSE all the staff are volunteers. No one is getting paid and they LOVE what they do. All smiles and great service. The proceeds go to local and global missions of the church. Win, win all the way around. The place itself is very spacious. Two levels. The seating areas are comfortable and far enough apart you can have some semiprivacy if you need it. My friend who brought me says she comes here all the time to study (she's in college). All of the staff knew her by name. (love places like that) I'm not a coffee drinker so I can't really speak to the coffee (although my friend says it's pretty good). I am a tea drinker though and they have a variety of flavors, some refresher juice drinks, a few pastries. Please support. Every now and again if you're thinking of getting coffee or a pastry, choose them. Why not? Do some good for the community through others who are committed to giving back.

Little Granddaughter who is coming up on six months and just beginning to reach out and show signs of breaking free and becoming independent and walking on her own. Won't be long. Idea was to get her a walker for Christmas. Used to be common but with the demise of Toy R Us and Babies R Us, there is a vacuum. Shopped a number of the big box stores but very little to offering. On line, Target has what we want to get little Haylee but when you go to the store, they only stock around 2 or the probably 20+ offering they show on line. Started at Northlake and did not have what we wanted. This was our second stop and this one had a Starbucks which helped work out the fact that they only had two in stock and like Northlake, not what we wanted. The Coffee was the high point of a very tedious and tiring day and it helped relax things and bring a sense of calm to the Holiday Chaos. Did not find what we wanted here but on the following day, found what we wanted in Mooresville which I believe was the fifth Target we went too. This Starbucks made my day and I strongly recommend anyone at this store, stop, take a moment and relax with a nice warm cup of Coffee before going forward. It will totally change your perspective and peace of mind.

I have ordered this for years but will never have it any other way. 5 stars for me. Very nice.
