So I personally did not like my coffee but I'm not gonna blame the establishment because they had really good ratings and reviews so I can imagine their drinks are actually really good. First off, their establishment is so cute and cozy. I loved the different options they had. They had Vietnamese coffee and Thai tea which I desperately wanted one of those but I committed to strict keto this month so I couldn't have the sugar. I decided to get a cold brew with heavy cream and sf hazelnut syrup which is typically what I try to get anywhere I go. I think depending on what brand of sugar free syrups a business uses, determines if it taste good or not. It's always a hit or miss. This particular one wasn't sweet and made it bitter. Although I didn't like it, I still drank it. I will definitely try again when I can have sugar and try to Thai tea or Vietnamese coffee cuz that is one of my favorite! They are in the metropolitan area so please go if you haven't tried them yet.

Another Waterbean location I frequent and love! The menu offers a variety of hot and cold coffee drinks and pastries. I ordered an Americano, and it was delicious. It's centrally located, and the ambience is always great. Baristas are friendly and professional. There is free parking, but it gets packed as it's shared with other businesses. Overall, 100% recommended.

This coffee shop was so cute! Very interesting flavors, like the ube latte which was delicious. I had the lavender latte which was very creamy and good. I also had an egg and cheese crossaint sandwich which was the perfect size and super good.

This spot is perfect for grabbing a coffee or tea and getting some work done. It was quiet on a Wednesday afternoon which surprised me in a great way! Many people were in and out grabbing coffee to go but there were plenty of tables and seating indoors. I had the matcha latte which was fantastic. Parking is easy since there is a large public garage attached to the building. The staff were friendly and the cafe was very clean. Will be stopping by again the best time I need a spot to relax with a cup of coffee!

I love this place!! I am always greeted when I walk in the door, and the baristas are personal and welcoming always. I've never had a bad experience here!! It is so quiet on weekday mornings, slow acoustic music, and there is so much seating. I got the caramel iced latte with oat milk, and it was super yummy. Try it out

Great coffee spot! I got an americano with sugar free vanilla syrup and oat milk and it was delicious. This was also likely the most delicious blueberry muffin - almost like cake! The staff was very nice and accommodating. There is short term (30 min) parking right out front and then a huge parking deck at the Metropolitan so plenty of options.

Delicious coffee spot with a variety of options. Service was quick and friendly. Relaxing environment that would be great for either a get together or study day. Coffee tasted extremely fresh. They also offer smaller snack items such as macaroons, breads, chips etc.

This coffee shop is cute. I ordered an iced chai latte and grabbed a bag of Guatemala beans for my husband. The service was friendly and my drink was delicious.

I know I just left a review 2 weeks ago, but had to make an update right away. I visited on New Years Day with my husband, and again brought our laptops to work from. This time, I had ordered an Iced White Chocolate Latte & my husband ordered a peppermint hot chocolate. Let me tell you...the Iced White Chocolate Latte blew my mind. It was so so so so flavorful & it has become my favorite all time drink - even better than Starbucks! I will obviously be back but will continue getting that drink until I become tired of it. Soooo YUMMY!

After dropping my daughter off at Presbyterian for a thing, I headed to a nearby coffee place that was open for "dine-in" to hang out. Waterbean is located in the Metropolitan shopping center and there is free 30 minute parking out front or you can hunt for a space in the parking deck. Inside, reasonably spaced tables and social distancing at the counter where I ordered an easy double espresso. They had four espresso coffees to choose from. Not quite overwhelming, but it was helpful that the young lady who took my order was able to make a recommendation. My coffee was ready a few moments later and it was perfect. Hot, rich, very dark. Very well caffeinated, which was appreciated. I sat for a bit, enjoyed it and their free wifi, and then moved on. Good stuff! [Review 14762 overall, 263 of 2021, number 2813 in North Carolina.]

Paid $9 for coffee that tastes like dog water and it took 15 min to come out when the shop wasn't busy.

Around 9:20 PM, I received a call from Olivia, the shift lead. She was incredibly calm, professional, and kind while explaining that she wasn't at the store and the employees working that night were fairly new and that they usually appreciate a little advance notice for catering orders. She asked whether I still wanted to move forward with the order. I told her I completely understood the situation and wouldn't be upset if they needed to cancel since it was so late and inconvenient. A little while later, Olivia called me back to let me know the catering had turned out great and that they could still deliver it if I wanted. When the order arrived, I was so impressed! Both catering boxes looked fantastic, and everything was prepared beautifully. I truly appreciate the employees who stayed late and put such care into making our order, and I especially want to thank Olivia for her outstanding customer service. Her kindness, communication, and professionalism turned what could have been a stressful situation into a wonderful experience. Thank you to the entire team for going above and beyond!

It's right on the way to my yoga studio, so it's perfect for a quick in-and-out lunch, but honestly, it's also the kind of place where you end up lingering longer than planned. My usual order is the ABLT on rye with Boar's Head applewood smoked bacon, avocado, lettuce, tomato, and mayo. Simple, fresh, and consistently delicious every single time. I almost always pair it with the Spinach Bacon salad loaded with spinach, cranberries, goat cheese, tomatoes, toasted pecans, and brown sugar peppered bacon. The portions are huge and definitely shareable. What makes Rhino special is that it's more than just a deli. It's part neighborhood market, part coffee shop, part beer and wine stop, and part community hangout. They've got local products, grab-and-go snacks, fresh sandwiches, beer on tap, wine, outdoor patio seating, and sometimes even live music. It reminds me of the small independent spots I used to love in the Bay Area around Burlingame, San Mateo, and Palo Alto. Relaxed, local, welcoming, and full of personality. The staff is always friendly, and the atmosphere feels genuinely Charlotte. Not overly polished. Not trying too hard. Just good food, good people, and a place that locals clearly love. And if you are visiting North Carolina, you absolutely have to try Cheerwine at least once. It's basically a Carolina rite of passage. Cherry soda lovers will probably be obsessed. Me personally? Not exactly my flavor profile, but people here drink it like water, so clearly they are onto something. Rhino Market is one of those places that makes a city feel like home. Life is too short to not eat well, Charlotte. Get out there.
