I've been to this Starbucks many times without any problems, but I felt like the last time experience I had at this location warranted a review. I asked for an off-menu item not knowing that it was not on their normal menu, and the barista handling the drive thru asked me for the drink recipe. I couldn't find it online, so I just accepted my losses and ordered something close to what I wanted. When I pulled up to the window, the barista actually found the recipe for me online and was making the drink!!! And she didn't even charge me for it :(( she was so sweet and friendly & I really appreciated the gesture. Really went above and beyond her responsibilities. Thank you barista!! read more

The daytime manager Jeremy is a total douche bag. He's very rude and condescending. I used my mobile app as I normally do to order my usual. I normally take a different route to work and use a different Starbucks. While picking up my drink I go to the counter and asked Jeremy to break a $20 bill that I have. He states I must first purchase something in order to break the money he would not open his drawer to simply make change. I stated that I just purchased a seven dollar coffee but I would go ahead and purchase a three dollar pack of gum as well so that I can break the money. As he rudely cashes me out I ask him if my coffee is ready? He rudely ignores me to talk to another associate who is walking out the door about her later activities. Time for a first review - this is not that new of a Starbucks. It is well-established as the purveyor of caffeine for local residents. I would have to say that easily half of their business is done through the drive-thru. The location is convenient for either northbound or southbound Davis traffic. You can turn south from here at either the traffic light or the exit near the drive-thru. The parking lot is not super big - it is shared with several other stores in the strip center. The seating area has four comfy chairs, two four-tops and the rest are two-tops. There are several tables outside as well - they are shaded from the morning sun to the east. As with most Starbucks, the team members work together very well. It's not uncommon to see drive-thru barista help out the main-area barista. read more

Some people just want to go in, get their coffee, and be happy. Well I particularly was not happy with my end results. There was more foam than drink and it was overpowering with the powder. Yes I did order a green tea latte in the drive through and out came the iced tea latte. Yes there was a line but that doesn't mean to hurry and make my drink and forget to add milk. Every time I come here, I always get the wrong item. One time I asked for a double shot, but I ended up getting a double cup. The second time I went, I asked for a venti ice coffee with vanilla and they gave me a venti with no classic. I'm 100% sure that I did not ask for no classic, I just said vanilla. When I went to this location for the first time the drive through line was so long, it was early in the morning before work, so I decided to go inside instead. I came to the drive-thru and the barista didn't know how to use little cards that say you get a free drink. Shows she was new. We all know Starbucks has great coffee, so I don't need to address that, right? I am NOT a morning person. Last week, I completed a sleep study at a center in Southlake. They woke me up at 5am! After a sleepy shower, I headed toward home, but it was too early to go there and wake the rest of my family. Then I spied the Starbucks near Precinct Line and the not-open-that-early Target. I went in for coffee, and added a slice of coffee cake to my order. There were several "regulars" in a corner seating area enjoying a discussion of old times as well as current issues. I had a book to read, but found customer-watching almost as interesting. A number of other "regulars" came in, and the staff not only recognized them, but anticipated their order in many cases, and had it ready quickly. One man came in with 3 little girls who all greeted the staff with familiarity. The girls ordered fruit drinks, dad had coffee, and all left smiling. The atmosphere was so friendly and welcoming, I will go back any time I am in the area. read more

AWFUL. This is a good location for me to meet with friends, which is the only reason I tried this store more than once. Every time I have been here, the employees are more concerned with talking loudly over you to each other while you are trying to order than with customer service. Today I drove through and they were out of the ingredients for three different drinks, all of which were basic items on the menu with no special alterations (and it was only 10am). The girl gave me attitude about it and when I finally did get my drink it was so badly made it was ORANGE. If the line had not been wrapped around the building I would have taken it back. Literally, $5 poured down the drain. It also takes ages to get your order, even when it isn't busy (and 80% of the time they still get your order wrong, then argue when you try to explain what you asked for).
