Stopped at this location this morning. Parking lot is always a cluster. Very small for the volume of patrons going thru drive thru and inside. There is available parking in the rear but going thru the tight entrance to is the trick or getting it from E. Joppa is the better. I opted to go in and ordered via mobile while inside. Within 3 minutes my drink was ready. I ordered Grande Iced Horchata Oat Shaken Espresso. Unfortunately there isnt a custum tab option for less ice for this drink so I had to ask the barista to remove some ice. She kindly did so. My drink was made with love as I absolutely loved it. Pretty standard Starbucks. It's located along a busy stretch of Belair Rd, so use caution exiting. Parking lot is a bit tight. There's ample seating for guests to enjoy their choice of caffeinated beverage. Service isn't always the fastest but the baristas are hustling to get it done. Worst Starbucks I've ever been to. I live right down the street and due to natural selection, I have to go to this dump every weekend. The difficulty the staff has at reading directions makes me second guess humanity within our youth. I literally get the same thing every weekend and they find a way to mess it up. They must be pretty stingy about their caramel because out of 900 orders, I think it has been correct once. Time to find something new because the difficulty they have making a damn macchiato is sad. Apparently when they take your order wrong and you politely let them know it's the wrong drink, thankfully they correct the drink but you don't get a sorry or even a thank you. I called the store to get the name of the cashier but I was told they are not allowed to give the name of the worker. Maybe that's why she wasn't wearing a name tag? Perhaps maybe having a reputation of being a rude employee. (I'm not sure why I even frequent this store). Not gonna let one person's rude behavior ruin my day. read more

I mean, you all know I am obsessed with Starbucks. I don't frequent this particular location but when I do my experience is usually so-so. The parking lot is tiny and awkward. They have a drive they which is cool; however, combined with the tiny parking lot I think the drive thru actually was a poor choice here. The drive they line is always long and wraps around the building. Getting in and out of this location is honest torture. But I digress - the coffee. Again, I love Starbucks coffee. But I've had orders messed up, such as when I asked for a nitro cold brew with a light splash of heavy cream and 2 pumps SF vanilla and what I got was a nitro cold brew with zero heavy cream and zero SF vanilla. This location closes at 6pm as said in the picture and will not serve customers after that. I've been in the drive thru line since 5:35pm waiting patiently. Finally get to the intercom at 5:57pm. Nobody answers the intercom until after 6pm and proceeds to tell me that they are closed. I told the lady that I've been in line since 5:35 and got to the intercom at 5:57. She tells me they stop taking orders at 5:55. That is not what the sign says. Very disappointed and angry. Starbucks in Perry Hall has a friendly staff, great coffee drinks, healthy salads, pastry and delicious sandwiches. The ONLY COMPLAINT is the permissive attitude that makes it impossible to enjoy the products described above outside on a nice day. Calls to SB Corporate as well as speaking with management at this SB fall on deaf ears. To make matters worse, signs on the building clearly state that the outdoor eating area is a smoke free environment. Even each table is labeled no smoking. What am i missing? I am a Rewards Starbucks customer and this Starbucks is THE WORSE starbucks i have ever encountered!!!! I go to Starbucks every single day and spend a lot! This Starbucks was open for 30 more minutes and REFUSED to serve me in person, mobile, and in their Drive-thru! This is NOT okay! I would appreciate kindness and an apology! Saying they were closed when they still were open for 30 more minutes. The barista, Sophie had excuses why NOT to serve me when they were still open for 30 more minutes. This is my home base SB. They are usually fast and get your order right. Some employees at rock stars and some are not, it really depends on the day. Was super excited about the drive through and having a hot lemonade with dragon fruit. I ordered a venti lemonade with dragon fruit and strawberries STEAMED. I cannot drink coffee or cold drinks due to my health issues. So for the past few months EVERY starbucks I have been to has placed my lemonade in venti coffee cups and used the steam wand to heat it. Malika made my drink with ice despite how it was ordered. Didn't offer me an alternative like a hot tea. When her team member tried to help she was just like we cant do that! Whether I come in at the crack of dawn (which is my usual) or late afternoon, they still give the same great level of service. They always get my order wrong, ring it up wrong, and I end up waiting ten minutes for a basic drink. I say "chai tea" and they ring me up for a "chai latte" which is about double the cost and isn't what I wanted. I watch people come and go with their extra pumps of this or that, with an extra shot of espresso, while I am still waiting for a plain old iced tea. This location used to be my favorite but has gone down hill. The quality of the drinks for one but also the hours of operation. They have changed their hours and from Monday-Thursday the coffee house opens at 4:00am....supposedly. I was extremely excited to hear this because of the early hours my job demands. 2 days in a row I have attempted to stop in before heading to work, both times I left empty handed. Multiple problems with mobile orders from this location. Today was bad. I ordered 2 drinks at 4:23. It's not busy so the app said 4-8 minutes both would be ready. I show up about ten minutes later to pick up my drinks, one of them is ready and the other one is no where to be seen. I stand there for a few minutes and nothing. The barista (it's not busy. there is one person working the cash register, one on the drive through and one making drinks) says mobile order for someone else and asks if that's me...I said no I'm here for another mobile order for Emily( I already paid through the app) and she's like I didn't get another ticket for your second drink...It's 4:37 now and I'm like wow I'll just go get my receipt off my phone and I tell her what the drink was...I come back in 30 seconds later with my receipt on my phone and she continues to make other drinks for another mobile order while I wait to show her my receipt...On my first drink that they actually made and had ready, it said 1 out of 2 items so they should have known I had another item....Finally she finishes making the other people's drinks and comes over to me and I show her my receipt off my phone and she starts to make my second drink. She did make it quick but it was a hassle. This is not the first time I've had this issue...The other day, my friend and I ordered drinks off the app. I ordered my drink 5 minutes before she did. I got an iced tea(the tea is already premade, they just add water...) and she got a frappacino..Her drink that she ordered 5 minutes after me (a more complicated drink) was ready and mine wasn't even made...They made several other drinks first and then asked what we were waiting for and then finally made my drink which took about only about a minute to make... I often pick up starbucks before work so I don't have tons of extra time to wait. Sometimes they have a good team working but lately they have been terrible and slow. I'll just go to another location. There is no point ordering off the app from the location when you have to wait even longer than if I would have just went in and stood in line and ordered the drink in person. I always allow for adequate time when picking up and if they say it will be ready in 4-8 min, I show up in ten minutes. read more

A carryout ticket was printed AFTER the fact i was waiting in line, and the employee proceeded to take care of the carryout ticket first...and I continued waiting. This Starbucks' needs some WORK from the training of its barista's to the manager. I literally get the same beverage through the drive-thru every morning, and they can't seem to make it correctly. I only go to this location because its on the way to work. I much rather go to the new location on Loch Raven. Since the remodel this place has gone down hill. the renovation has an open floor plan, it appears to have less seating. My biggest gripe is how dirty this store is.
