I've used my nickname on my account for 10 years, after i accidentally picked up another Jennifer's order. It aligns with things I do both inside and outside of work, an inside joke nickname at work, and what my daughter uses for my name in her phone. Today, when visiting this store on a trip through town, I got to meet the manager, Brittany, who told me I had to change my nickname because it was offensive. It has no curse words, no racial slurs, no sexist slurs, no nasty names. I am pleasant when dealing with the staff. My regular stores laugh and chat with me about it. My name was Evil Cult Leader. Brittany told me that people use nicknames but it officially goes against the terms of service. I told her I was offended that I couldn't use my nickname for my coffee order but, if that's how they felt, I would save them from being offended by never visiting their store again. I'm in OC regularly, having graduated from OCHS and having family in the area, but I will not patronize this establishment again. I will spend the $20 I spent there, elsewhere. read more

Best. Starbucks. Ever. I just had the best Peppermint Mocha & the nicest Barista too! Normally I watch my carbs pretty strict during the week, but since it's super cold here right now, (Cali girl traveling / fish out of water) and my favorite coffee is in season, I really did crave my favorite coffee sweet treat and ordered a Peppermint Mocha. I'm not from this area, but the location is easy to get to and somewhat off the freeway, there are big comfy chairs by the window, standard Starbucks wifi, and yummy coffee. I had higher hopes for a new Starbucks near the Drexel Town Center, but this one is just adequate. For starters, it's just a big square box. Very unimaginative architecture for a new Starbucks. It has a drive thru (what SBUX doesn't, these days?). Would have loved to see seating not so close together, as I sat there for an hour, a nearby young couple decided to have an hour-long breakup style argument, within earshot of every seated customer. Whateves! Don't mind us others! You do you! Please breakup! A better inspired seating arrangement and store design would have given this couple (and the rest of us) a little more privacy. read more

This place either needs to get its act together, hire more help or get a new manager. My last visit was the last straw and led to this review. My order was as simple as can be: 2 grande green teas. No additions or subtractions. Just some bags in some hot water. My order was online and I placed it between 5-10 minutes before my arrival. When I got there, there was a very long line for the drive-thru, so I had to go inside to pick it up and figured there would be a little wait due to the long line. Or so I thought. I sat there at the counter for 10 minutes and drink after drink was made and they even accommodated a customer who's drink they screwed up. After 5 minutes of waiting (on-top of the drive and pre-order time, we're at 10-20 minutes) I began to wonder if my online order even went through. I checked the app and I was indeed charged and had the "we'll see you soon message". So I went up to the register and asked "Did my online order come through on your end? Because it did on mine". The entire time I sat and watched, they never checked the incoming order tickets that was by the MAIN REGISTERS. Which told me that if I never spoke up, I would have waited a lot longer to receive my order...if at all. She didn't apologize, offer compensation for waiting or anything, she simply said "oh, here they are" and continued to make my order...while burning herself and making a mess on the counter in the process. She didn't even bother refilling the part of my tea that she spilled on the counter. This is unacceptable. My wife and I are both nurses and we take the time to get up early and place our drink orders WELL AHEAD OF TIME of our arrival. There have been times where we place our online order for coffee/tea at 6:10 am, arrive at 6:25, and they're STILL NOT READY. And this is between 6-7 am where there is hardly any customer traffic. I'm afraid I will be taking my business to other Starbucks that are on the way to our places of employment because this place is just...ugh. I understand that it gets busy at Starbucks, I've worked customer service while putting myself through school, but 20 minutes for TWO TEAS is a f**king joke. Get it together, guys. read more

One would think that Starbucks is Starbucks...but that is a wrong assumption. Consistently this is the only Sbux that makes whatever drink I order absolutely correct and delicious on the first try. I do feel that the prices at Sbux is very inflated. I paid 3X what I would have paid at MDonalds for the same drink...but I am a sucker for the location and atmosphere!!! Normally avoid Starbucks, over priced and the staff is kind of snarky in some stores. That is not the case here, staff is fruits friendly. This location is near the hotel I stay in when I am in town for work so it is convenient for me and sometimes you need a flat white. The driveway situation is bad and the coffee is still expensive but once in a while it's worth it and I would recommend this location. read more

If you're in a hurry I would recommend going somewhere else. I never leave reviews and always try to give businesses the benefit of the doubt but the employees at this Starbucks seem to enjoy making people wait. I recently ordered online and went through the drive through to pick up because I have a sprained ankle from a running injury and I'm on crutches. I sat at the drive through window for 6 minutes (which doesn't necessarily sound like a long time but when you're waiting and have somewhere to be - it is!). I could see my order sitting by the register the whole time. Meanwhile the girl working the drive through walked around aimlessly instead of handing me my food and letting me go. If I wouldn't have already paid online I would have left. They seem to do this when they are busy to avoid cars advancing through the drive through and more orders coming in. I get it, they are busy and want to catch up, but they need a better system. To make matters worse, when the girl handed me my order SHE seemed annoyed and my drink order wasn't even correct. This place really is known for being slow. If you're in a hurry I would suggest you drive the extra couple of miles to a Starbucks where the employees seem to care. read more

Overview - Location is convenient but limited, current staff is very nice. Food 5/5 Customer Service 5/5 This location was added as the Drexel Town Square was just being developed and is a perfect addition. Even tho there are other Starbucks just a few miles away, it is in a good spot. It is small though. In the mornings, it can be impossible to find a parking spot or place to sit inside. Most mornings there are lines into the street for drive thru, but most times the longest I wait is 5-7 minutes. If you're in the area and need a coffee, this is a wonderful option. I have been here a few times now because the staff at the Meijer's Starbucks keeps charging me incorrectly and it takes three baristas to make my drink wrong. If you blink you will miss this location. It's weirdly situated on the end of the building. My hubby hates it when I shout my order over him in the drivers seat and I didn't want to use the app so I went in. The staff was friendly and got my drink with all it's modifiers right the first time. You can also redeem your free drinks here and not at the Meijers because the Meijer's Starbucks is a licensed store. Décor is ok but I agree that the seating needs to be worked on. read more

A brand new Starbucks, these are always good because they tend to open up with an excellent staff and that's the case here. Unlike good coffee shops elsewhere in the Milwaukee area, this one isn't right next to another good coffee shop. This is the only one, in fact, that can be considered a viable choice for MATC Oak Creek, as the only other choice in bicycle distance is the one on campus which is closed for much of the time classes are in session, and when it is open, there's only self serve coffee at a gas station level of quality. Kind of ridiculous given the fact that MATC has such an excellent bunch of culinary training programs but whatever. This new Starbucks has a drive through, plenty of parking, and lots of work spaces with electrical plugs. It's sunny and feels roomy, and so far isn't over run by students. It may never be as a lot of MATC students don't study, and the beautiful new Oak Creek Library is another good choice for studying right across the road. Wi Fi is good, the coffee is only slightly overpriced, and coffee pastries are fresh. The one problem is Starbucks wide, you can't put the tip on your credit card, so you have to remember to bring cash. read more

I'm giving it two stars ONLY because the staff is very nice. I've had it though with this location, and maybe Starbucks in general. I don't remember the last time my order was correct. Today was a grande decaf Americano along with one other drink in the drive thru. They gave me a tall, so when I verified that I had ordered a grande they made me a new one, and then when I asked if it was decaf (it's the very first thing I say, because it's the most important detail for me) the employee said no. We were already holding up the line enough so I said the one that I had was good enough, but then when I looked at the label after I drove away it was a regular. Again, I've just had it. I literally now only go when I'm given a gift card. This location used to be so much better, but to be fair the problems seem widespread through other locations. read more

Nice prompt service inside. Drive thru gets busy but keeps moving. The staff is generally very upbeat and provides great customer service. There are a couple of employees who tend to stand around and just watch over the shoulder of the younger (meaning any employee under 40) and make faces. I don't know why any employee would stand around watching other people bust their bottom, but it's not uncommon to see when in restaurants/retail stores. New-ish bakery items for Christmas season look interesting. read more

Seriously, I'm done with Starbucks and, really, this location just is breaking me. I can't get an order from this location that is correct, seemingly ever. This last straw was this morning when I picked up two drinks for students who earned them. Something went wrong with the drinks at first and they had to be thrown out and redone, but then the redos were wrong. One of them was an iced peach green tea lemonade and it was *not* what we got. I didn't know it, but my student sure did. The other was a hot chocolate where I reminded them at the window to include whipped cream, and they didn't even after a reminder. Both of my students, who earned these with hard work and behaviors, didn't get what they wanted (and the tea wasn't even drinkable). Time and time again things like cream are left out of Americanos (which I usually order), and I'm just giving up. The employees there are SO NICE and so it's hard for me to complain, but this is ridiculous, and what was once a company that cared about the quality of their products is now a shell of itself in many locations that I've used. Again, this isn't a one-time thing, but today was the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back. read more

Love this new location! It puts the other Starbucks on Howell Ave to shame. The wait times in drive-thru, even when busy, are very reasonable. The staff is very friendly as well. As far as the seating style? It's a coffee shop, and I do not expect privacy. To nitpick a standard Starbucks seating arrangement is a little sad. This is definitely the best location. read more

They're always out of cold brew iced coffee but I'm allowed to order it on my app then find out when I come in they're out - so very inconvenient when I could just go to another store that has it!! So I went to this Starbucks today, through the drive thru, and the barista and cashier were very rude. I ordered a grand English breakfast tea with one bag. I got my order and checked it, I was given a English breakfast tea latte. After I told barista it was the wrong order she questioned me!! I said I ordered a English breakfast tea, one bag . She said ya. ! I said well this has foam and she again said ya. Then I told her that is not what I ordered. I repeated my order and told her not a latte. She then grabbed my drink and turned away. Then the cashier came to the window and handed me my drink. Not once did either of these ladies apologize or acknowledge that the drink was indeed not correct. They both had an attitude and were short with me. This was not the excellent service I'm used to at Starbucks! I would think that with so many Starbucks in this small area that the service and attitude of the workers would be something that is excellent. Unfortunately this was not the first time I've gotten an incorrect order from this Starbucks location, but it is the first time I'm leaving an unfavorable review. read more

Ordered a chicken wrap protein box which is usually very good. Today was given a box which was outdated and should have been thrown out. I didn't notice it until arriving home. Tried calling the establishment and no answer, it went into the trash which is where it should have been. read more
