I was mostly very happy with our visit. Our food was delicious, pics included. Both ladies at the greeting desk were great. Not a long wait, about 15 minutes. I Loved the atmosphere and space. My only negative was our server. She was not very pleasant to begin with. Warmed up a little during our ordering. Once the ticket was placed on the table she vanished. I finally went to the hostess stand to ask for just one more cup of coffee for my mate. They do leave a small carafe on the table, he just wanted one more. The adorable hostess followed me back to our table and even offered a "to go" coffee which was actually what he had hoped for! The service was great. Very friendly young woman who was also attentive but not too much. The menu held many wonderful selections, and the three of us enjoyed great tasting, nicely presented breakfasts. Perfect location near a lot of other stores. Came over for brunch. We have been here before. I had the avocado toast, but it wasn't great. When our server Sebastian asked how was everything and I mentioned to him about the avocado toast he did not hesitate on collecting my plate and replacing it with anything else just to make the experience better. Everybody else in the table got their own breakfast it all looks delicious. The fact that I didn't even have to say anything more about my breakfast was perfect. He not only replaced my breakfast for anything else I want but added a muffin. That was very thoughtful. The restaurant was very busy, there is some music on the background. We were able to check in on line so the wait time wasn't too long. Which is nice. The facility is nice and I do like the choice with both booths and tables. In additional there is outside seating for the warmer months. The staff is friendly and our server Danielle offered some great choices. We orders the Carna Asada Hash and Raspberry Ricotta French Toast that was suggested and in addition we ordered Eggs Benedict Classic and one side of hashbrowns. The Carne Asada Hash was delicious as all of the flavors blended together for a rich taste. Not so big on the lemon flavor over the eggs benedict as this is not the usual recipe. The service here was absolutely phenomenal. I was actually at this location because I wanted coffee while charging my Tesla, and it's only a short walk away. They have a little breakfast bar facing the parking lot, which I sat out since I was by myself. I ordered the avocado toast...the toast wasn't toasted, and the avocado was ice cold, but the eggs were cooked perfectly and honestly, I was so hungry I didn't care. They absolutely would've redone it had I asked, but I was kind of in a rush. This server made me a fresh coffee to go as well, so I will definitely be coming back here. They even have a really nice outdoor area with little shade umbrellas as well if you're wanting to sit outside. This was our breakfast spot on our way to ikea in oak creek, Milwaukee. A recommendation from a friend and it did not disappoint. Walking in this Saturday morning was packed! We popped into First Watch on a recommendation from family. The place is larger than I thought from the outside, but on a weekend it gets packed so be willing to wait. Our wait was short for six people during a busy time, so don't let that dissuade you. The ambience is cute, it's a modern rustic feel. It's a little noisy when full but you aren't yelling to each other, so it's not bad. We ordered the Million Dollar Bacon because we were told it's amazing. I mean, it's bacon, so it's hard to really ruin it. Basically it's thick cut applewood bacon with brown sugar, pepper, cayenne, and maple syrup. It's good, of course, because it's bacon with a sweet and spicy angle. Our server brought us out a Holey Doughnuts order they had extra and those were amazing. I really liked the mixed berry compote more than the chocolate sauce, but there were both good for dipping. I had the quinoa power bowl and an elevated egg sandwich. That's more food than anyone needs in one sitting, just a heads up. The elevated egg sandwich came with seasoned roasted potatoes that I liked. The sandwich itself was really good. It's eggs, Gruyere, avocado, and arugula. I liked the flavors all together and it was plenty filling on its own. The quinoa power bowl was amazing and super filling. Italian sausage, mushrooms, tomatoes, and kale with quinoa is a winner in my book. I will definitely order this again when I go back. The chickichanga (I probably biffed that spelling), is eggs, chicken, chorizo, cheese, onions, avocado, all rolled into a tortilla and covered in a tasty sauce. You won't be sad for ordering this, it's flavorful and keeps you coming back for more. Overall, there wasn't a bad dish at the table. I visited this particular First Watch location with my husband and we both had prior experience at a First Watch in the metro Washington, DC area. Food: Offers a lot of the same items from other First Watches- seasonal options, sandwiches, omelettes, salads and more. I ordered the 'farm stand breakfast tacos' that came with seasoned black beans. It came out as great tasting as I remember it to be. Think breakfast/brunch food as they are only open from 7am-2:30pm daily. Beverages: coffee, juices, teas, hot chocolate and coke products. At the time, this location did not have a liquor license to be able to serve mimosas and such. Waiter stated that this was supposed to change, so it could be an option now. Reserving a spot in-line online was really helpful. Remember to check in with the person at the front once you arrive. The service was completely overwhelmed but great people. The temperature inside was a bit chilly and very loud. Such a big space. I was happy to be able to set outside. I visited again in winter on a Thursday and it was a much even better expensive. The young man that took my order was very nice. I ordered the waffle which per the menu included a very compote on side which my order did not come with it and I was told that it was included with it. We had another 30+ wait for our food but the server was apologetic and checked in with us. I think they were just short staffed. Understandable and not an issue because we were in no rush. Nonetheless service has room for improvement hence the deduction on starts. I had one of their fresh juices. Presentation is pretty, it was very sweet but I like sweet once in a while. My wife and I went to First Watch for breakfast on Saturday, Dec 9th. What started out as a wonderful experience crashed hard at the end. First, the good. The young woman who waited on us was efficient, polite, and friendly. The food too was excellent. I ordered the "parm" skillet. The potatoes were done just right, and the eggs over easy were perfect. The fruit had a good taste, and the whole grain toast was cut thick and added a nice touch. Now the crash. When I got the bill, I saw that the cost of my one cup of coffee was a whopping $3.85!!! My wife's tea was also about the same. We paid over $7 for a cup of coffee and a cup of tea. That is nearly double what I pay anywhere else. Our bill came to $35. When I went to the counter to pay, I inserted my credit card and was assaulted by the suggestion that my tip should be 20%, 22%, or 25%!!! To top it off, the young woman who waited on us miraculously appeared behind the counter where we were paying and where she could observe the entire transaction. This is what I call a "guilt tip." An older man was also behind the counter. I am not sure if he was the manager or owner, but I resented the focus on the transaction. I have news for these kinds of places. I don't tip percentages. I use a flat tip and tip the same for all meals regardless of cost. The next time (if there is a next time) I have 3 people watching how much I tip, I will tip ZERO and tell them why. Tip to the owner: Pay your people decent wages and stop asking us customers to subsidize your labor costs!!!!! read more
