We hung out for a while chatting with him, and even asked if he knew of a place to watch an English Premier League game the next day. The closest was in Fresno--until Oscar went above and beyond. He told us not to worry, that he would open the brewery just for us on Sunday, even though he's usually closed! The next day we showed up, and Oscar not only opened the doors but let us use our camping stove outside to make tacos. We all enjoyed them together--Oscar included! We expected to stay for about two hours but ended up staying close to five because we were having such a blast. Oscar gave us a tour of the brewery, made us feel like family in his home, gifted us a round on him, and even let us put on some music where we sang at the top of our lungs. I know this is a long review, but it's for a reason. Most breweries can feel impersonal--serve the beer and move on to the next customer. Shuteye Brewery is different. Oscar connects with people and shows, through his actions, that he truly cares about making sure you have a beautiful experience.
