I was just at the Marriott World Center for a conference, and I found myself at this Starbucks right by the lobby each and every day, each time for something different. There is a small seating area outside of the Starbucks, plenty of space for a long, twisting line, and a nice, large waiting area. Fortunately, each time I stopped by, it wasn't too busy, and I got a beverage or a bite rather quickly. The first time, I placed an order for a strawberry acai lemonade, my favorite! The second time, I just ordered a breakfast sandwich. The third time, a company gave out vouchers for drinks, which I redeemed (they simply swiped a gift card arranged by the company and left at the register). The fourth time, I purchased ten $5 Starbucks gift cards to give out as part of a foundation fundraiser. The food and beverages were tasty and tasted like any other Starbucks, and the service was quick, and the staff were helpful. As most Starbucks frequenters know, you should have the app with some funds on it and ideally a Gold Card. There are often deals through the app, such as discounts, buy-one-get-one-free offers, or bonus stars that can be redeemed for free drinks or food. I enjoy the games that come out about twice a year and can lead to bonus stars, sweepstakes, and more (which just ended). Came by for coffee the other week while attending at conference at the property. This Starbucks is located within the lobby at the Marriott World Center making it super convenient. The venue takes mobile orders only with payment by Starbucks card though... Credit cards are accepted for in-person orders, making it an extra step. Starbucks points can be earned via the app and payment can be made with a credit card. There were at least half a dozen staff on hand each time I visited making the experience quick and easy. Staff were always in great mood too. Some of my beverages had a hand written message on them. My lattes in the morning were usually too hot, which was bizarre as it took a while for the beverage to cool down to a temperature that I could drink... read more

This is your typical Starbucks. This one is located in the Marriott World Center Hotel lobby. I noticed that there were a lot more employees staffing this location then others. All of the staff that I encountered with was very kind and very friendly. I placed my order and it was filled promptly. I noticed that there seems to be a lot more different food choices, more than other locations. This location and seemed a little pricier than other Starbucks. On a normal day this would be your typical franchise Starbucks. However, when 5,000 of my closest work friends show up to the Orlando Marriott World, then the line has about 20-30 people out the door... And the staff were incredible. They always had a smile on their faces and never seemed to make any complaints. The drinks never seemed to lose their normal Starbucks quality. My only issue is that the old fashioned donut that I had later in the day was quite soggy, so it felt like a waste of money. If there's one thing I look forward to when traveling is waking up in the morning grabbing a couple coffee and heading out the door to explore the city. Boy was I excited to find out that the Marriott Hotel has a Starbucks inside of it !!! I'm aware that Starbucks has a partnership with Marriott and it's not uncommon to find a Starbucks in their hotels but boy this is a full-service Starbucks. They have everything in here from coffee mugs and coffee tumblers to K cups and packaged coffee from all their different types of blends. They have just about everything you need to start your morning. I was very surprised to see they have all different types of pastries including the seasonal pastries that you would get at the regular stores and a full drink menu of just about anything you want. i'm telling you I was pleasantly surprised I was able to start my morning off with my Hazelnut Macchiato and a gingerbread loaf! Talk about a total score!!! The world Center is a pretty large hotel they have hundreds of rooms so as you can imagine they are tons of hungry people waking up asking for breakfast. It's really genius when you think about it you avoid those ridiculously high prices to order breakfast in your room and you have the simple convenience of just going downstairs to a Starbucks I mean how awesome is that. I will tell you there can be a buildup in line. As I mentioned there were tons of guest at the hotel and in the morning it can get pretty backed up but the associates do an awesome job of knocking out customers and serving drinks I don't mind waiting in extra 2 to 4 minutes for my drink when I have the convenience of going downstairs for breakfast and avoiding expensive charges to the room. read more

This Starbucks is wonderful! My family has visited Orlando fairly frequently and use to come to this Starbucks all of the time. The staff came to know us and remember us - which was quite impressive. They were always kind, thoughtful, and incredibly friendly, always putting a smile on our faces. After several years of not visiting Orlando, we came back this July and the team (Jennifer, Brenda, and Madeline) still remembered us AND our drinks! They greeted us so warmly and delivered the best service; who knew a quick morning stop at Starbucks could set the positive tone for the whole day. Bonus points, this branch is well kept and moves efficiently. We continue to come to this branch even if we are staying on a different property. Kudos to Jennifer and her excellent team. read more

The good: - very quick service despite the huge conference going on in the hotel - did not hesitate to correct my order of tall vanilla blonde in a grande cup (she had initially put it in a tall cup) - got my name right! - great location and easy to find right in front of the lobby - convenient times: 6am to 9pm - the spinach and feta wrap that I got heated up was delicious despite the huge crowd The bad: - only one of the registers accepts credit cards so if you don't want to wait for that particular register, then bring cash - as with the other Starbucks, the food is ridiculously expensive! A turkey rustico sandwich was close to $10!! Summary: as a guest in the hotel I will be coming back to this Starbucks for sure. Great service and very convenient! read more

This is the worst starbucks I have ever been to but had to come as I stayed in the Marriott hotel with this in the Lobby. The staff day after day were lacking in smiles, looked grumpy, and acted unhappy with everyone. The older ones couldn't get the orders right, I asked for cake pops, they handed me an egg white turkey sandwich. I asked to have my stsrbucks card reloaded and that just caused her more confusion leading to a line build up. This type of occurrence was repeated the 3d I came with the older batistas who will not even read this on yelp to understand because they can barely operate the cash register. Normally I give good reviews, but this place created frustration day after day just for a latte. I love stsrbucks, love coffee, so how can they get it wrong here? For a hotel that hosts thousands at conferences every day of the week you would think that common sense would prevail. Marriott would make a killing if they set up mobile baristas down by the convention center and by the different towers. We waited in line for 20 minutes to get the much needed caffeinated beverages to slug through the day once again. First off, I'm not a huge fan of Starbucks' crappy burnt coffee but I'll tolerate the espresso and steamed milk option. Pull your head out of your tuckus Marriott and provide better coffee options for the masses that you serve everyday. The plus side to the lack of efficient service is that they are open late, do have 3 registers (only two were ever open), and the humans manning the registers were friendly. read more

I have been to this Starbucks "kiosk" many times during different trips while staying at the hotel. I haven't had a bad experience. The staff is generally friendlier then most places in Orlando, and in most cases I find them extremely friendly. My drinks are always prepared properly and quickly. They do accept Starbucks cards, they just don't have a scanner so they manually type the number. They don't accept the Starbucks free drink rewards, but that's because they're a "kiosk" not an official store. All in all this location is very good to me when I go there. read more

The food and drinks are fine. Wait was long, but due to a conference. My complaint: the cashiers. First, I was overcharged and noticed later: $20.88 for a water, an OJ, and a plain bagel. On top of that, I'm noticing that my receipt from a separate day was for $16.51, but my AMEX card shows $18.51. I think someone penciled in an illegitimate $2 tip, but AMEX doesn't want to bother to research, they just gave me $2. Not worth their effort I guess. read more

This is just another lovely Starbucks that sits quietly at the convention center/hotel. It is definitely a convenient store where you can get a quick coffee and some snacks to refresh yourself. There are not that many chairs in the shop, but it didn't seem like people were staying anyways, because there are plenty of places to sit around and relax at the hotel. read more

OH NO!!! I am one to LOVE Starbucks. You can always catch me at a Starbucks! This one you will NEVER SEE ME AT AGAIN!!!! I was staying at this hotel for a few night and ordered my usual drink. Which is just 3 shots of espresso with 2% milk. That's it nothing to complicated. This girl is speaking Spanish to another asking if it's a latte and there asking is it a latte. And I said you can call it whatever as long as it's espresso and milk. And she looks at me and say ya thats a latte in the most snappy way!!!! Like excuse me it's 6 am are you serious?? And so I say ok whatever. So then I say it's my birthday I have a free drink and she tells me they don't take coupons. Like ok no problem that's weird but ok. And then I told her I need to reload my card then. So I reload and scan it and something happened. She tells me. " did you only load 10 dollars?!" Like um yes I did. And something magical happened at the register. IT TOOK MY FREE BIRTHDAY DRINK. If Starbucks Corp wants this location to last then they need to fire all these rude girls and hire a brand new staff who actually like there job. I'm not sure if it's because I'm from out of town or what but I expect to be treated like everyone else especially at a well known establishment. I can't believe this Starbucks is still running.
