I wanted to give this less stars but, the croissant was eggcellent! The cappuccino was ok. Small and standard with lots of foam. I wasn't offered any milk or sugar and luckily I saw some sugar at the outside table but, didn't have any creamer options. There was no coffee station. I got a chocolate croissant to-go, and having been to France, it was on point. Here's the issue, and I hope the owners fix this. At 10:45am it was busy. This place is small!!!! Very French right? lol. I was patient. I waited in a long line and finally ordered with a smile. I got the croissant and cappuccino "for here" and the croissant "to go." I saw there were no open tables except for the 2 outside and today in FL, we are just coming off the freeze and it's 40 degrees out. I used the restroom and as I came back, a table was about to open. I stood at the counter and I believe the owner ( not the woman who took my order) asked me if my coffee and food was "to go." I said, " no just the croissant, my food and coffee are for here." So now by this time other people have ordered and he is just now prepping my cappuccino "for here." Now, this isn't his fault but, because of the lack of space, it creates a hostile environment. I turn around and see the long order line and a couple that stood up to leave. So I walk over to take the "now open" table and I kid you not, a woman jumped in front of me, hands out and says, " can i take this table?" She hadn't even ordered yet and had she not been so rude, I guarantee I would have been done eating by the time she even got food. She was in the back of the line. I just said, " sure" and spun on my heel and went back to the counter. Maybe I should have said "no, I was here first" but I don't like hostility. Everyone can hear and see this happening, as it's a small, quiet place. I guess when you're alone, people don't value you as a person. Same with flights and theaters. I get back to the counter, and I ask him if I should sit down ...or do I wait at the counter for my food...? And he looked at me and was like "well there aren't any tables", at that moment, another table opens up and another single woman snags it! Hasn't even ordered! Then he says, "well there's one outside." I decide to take my now delivered coffee and sit outside. It made my coffee cold almost instantly so, I grab a sugar packet, toss it in, and chug it back. I walk in, and I then say "excuse me, could you just make my order to go?" He says yes, and a few minutes later I get my order and leave. I had to drive 25 mins to get home but, I WILL say it was still good! Even the "to-go" box is plant based and biodegradable. My ADVICE!!!! And I hope you take it! Get rid of the tables. You can have 2 outside, that's fine, but you'd be better off with a bar setting with stools all around the perimeter and a coffee station for additional things like creamer, sugar and cinnamon. This needs to be more of a grab and go place and even some Starbucks locations have implemented this. Make it friendly for single people, not families. Bar seating inspires quick service. Thank you! I grabbed a breakfast to go, but really did my omelette a disservice. Instead of the (recycled material!) plate, those perfectly fried eggs studded with spinach and tomato deserved to be savored off of a plate. Note: these are not American style where the ingredients are rolled in the middle of the eggs, more like a frittata. The lemon aioli added a lovely pop of creamy brightness, and the baguette slices were chewy perfection. I also sampled the Black Forest pastry - it was unexpectedly light and fluffy, not too sweet and pairs amazingly with a coffee. While the croissant did not last long enough to be photographed: texture was perfect...but I prefer croissants where the butter flavor is more prominent. Overall, good food, reasonably priced especially for being located near where a lot of businesses like to gouge the tourists. Get there early, seating area is on the cozy side. read more

After spending the weekend at a Walt Disney Resort, I was craving something light and delicious. I searched "French bakery" and Le Caramel came up. It was only 2.5 miles from the Disney Springs Speedway, so I sped over and was there in about 10 mins. Le Caramel is located in a strip mall, so plenty of free parking. It's a clean, brightly lit little café with a small menu of sandwiches, coffees, and pastries. My cappuccino & almond croissant were delicious, but the star of the show was my bf's croissant sandwich. It was oozing with eggy, cheesy goodness, and the lemon aioli on it...OMG! Soooo good! There was free wi-fi, so this would be a great place to come and get some work done or escape the world of Disney for a bit. I visit Orlando often, and I had a chance to stop in here at Le Caramel by Chef Setee, for a quick breakfast. The menu here is small. I loved everything it was great. My choice included a flaky croissant sandwich along with a tender spinach omelette, complemented by a rich cappuccino. The temptation to indulge in their Black Forest cake and hazelnut pastry was irresistible, and rightfully so--they were exquisite. The ambiance was initially quiet almost like a french Cafe early in the morning, but by the time I left it was pretty packed. Two kinds of tarts and a chocolate brownie, some macarons, croissants and pain au chocolate was about it.Some prepackaged "variety" goods, maybe baklava? Went one day during mid afternoon and the woman that was working was so welcoming and great. But they were out of chocolate croissants-which was the main reason I went. So we ordered sandwich and it was delicious. We went two days later early for the chocolate croissant. The gentleman who greeted us- which I hope is not the owner- made us feel like we were a total inconvenience. Not sure if the little pastries that were in the bag that said thank you were free but he wasn't offering any suggestions on trying them. We also ordered a few pain au chocolats (chocolate bread/chocolate filled croissants) for our kiddos. It was so good that I had to order one for myself. I saw they had some breakfast items on the menu and some customers had ordered them- they looked delicious as they came out the kitchen! What a wonderful amazing spot. We were staying at a nearby hotel with extremely overpriced breakfast buffet. I wandered out one morning to find something better (and avoiding the Starbucks nearby). As soon as I walked into this restaurant I was amazed at how wonderful it smelled with all the fresh pastries. I ordered a couple of cappuccinos and some pastries for my kids. Everything was absolutely delicious. The next day I came back with my wife and we had an omelette and an order of the eggs. Both of our dishes were absolutely perfect. I've only had an omelette that good in Paris and my favorite spot in Manhattan. Finding this gem was totally unexpected. The eggs also had a crème fraiche that was out of this world good. This place was great! I was craving something sweet and just found this place randomly. Glad I did! The food was delicious! I love a good fruit tart and this one is definitely included. The crust was thick which I wasn't expecting, but still crumbly and the fruit tasted fresh. The macarons had great flavor with the right amount of citrus that wasn't too overpowering. They haven't been open for long, opened December 2021 I believe. They do offer a breakfast menu, which I currently have yet to try. Le Caramel also does cakes, by request, for parties.
