I am not usually a whiner but I am just giving this place a one star because they only have few crews and its so busy, theres only few seats the fact that its in the downtown. The people that works here looks unhappy. You cannot order in advance as this place wont show in my starbucks app. And also they wont let you use your star rewards! The only good about this place is the paints at the wall. Also you cannot use the starbucks wifi unless you are checked in at the hotel, because it will require you to enter your room # . I'm not a huge coffee or Starbucks person but when I need a jolt of caffeine when I'm at work, I take a walk to this location . It is across the street and connected to the Grand Bohemian hotel. This is a pretty busy location during the week catering to the Downtown workers and the tourists in town staying at the hotel. My last visit was around 4pm on a weekday and it was surprisingly packed. There are lots of tables available for meetings or for students studying and using the free wi-fi. Employees are always rude and sullen. We live downtown so we have to frequent this location. Sadly one of the few coffee places in downtown. The most annoying part of this location is not, however, that the employees treat you like a dumb tourist, but that they never ever fill your cup all the way up. If you want a grande, order a venti, if you want a venti? Order a trenti. Worst. Starbucks. Ever. We get it, you hate your job, you're worth more, you want to be at the festival down the street, not serving cold brew and blueberry muffins to its patrons,but join the club. Just wanted to share a few important pieces of info in regards to this particular Starbucks considering it's location on the main strip of downtown. First, they are etremely busy during normal working hours. If you pass by, you will inevitably see many people in suits and heels coming in an out with their favorite caffeinated beverage. But because of the high volume of customers they have Mnday through Friday, they are open only limited hours on Saturday and Sunday; mostly for the Grand Bohemian guests since this Starbucks is actually located within the hotel building. And should you need to use the restroom here, you have to walk through the lobby. Secondly, I wanted to mention that Starbucks has made visible attempts at drawing more crowds and keeping the customers they already have satisfied. As prices keep rising, they have seemingly been noticing and trying to lure us with more food options. The hot breakfast sandwiches didn't work but maybe their new oatmeal packs and baked goods will be the trick? Regardless, I just wanted you to know that if you are on Orange Ave. after 3pm on a Saturday, you'll have to hit up the Thornton Park Starbucks in order to get your Pumpkin Spiced Latte since this one will be closed. read more

My drinks never taste the same here as they do at other locations. They're honestly never as good but I can't put my finger on why. I don't know if they just don't follow spec, but all of my more complicated (and when I say complicated, these drinks are still on the menu - skinny cinnamon dolce latte with added caramel drizzle or a java chip frap) just taste not as good. This location is the BEST starbucks location and I'm willing to put money on it. The staff at this location are the best starbucks employees I have ever encountered. Freddy and Jenny, just to name a few, are extremely knowledgeable as well as efficient with service. Whatever training and experiences the staff has undergone at this particular location is very much appreciated because every time I happen to choose this Starbucks not only do they treat me with the upmost respect but I've witnessed them treating every customer swiftly, accurately and with a smile too. The coffee selection is very nice as well, they'll customize completely your drink here and there always seems to be something different that one can choose with all of the options available to the public. Though this may not be the largest Starbucks in the country, the atmosphere of this location is also in alignment with the purpose of Starbucks; I see people studying every visit with their technological tools with ease seemingly and there is free WiFi. This location is really falling apart. The last three times I have gone in, my order has been messed up. Two of the 3 times I ordered, and paid for, a venti drink and was given a grande. Today, my friend ordered an unsweetened sweet tea. She was given a sweet tea. I ordered a frappuccino and the barista made a ..? I have no idea. She kept putting up drinks that no one was claiming. One of them was purportedly mine, although none of the drinks were frappuccinos. I can't justify the $6+ and the wait for this anymore. Great location at the prestigious Grand Bohemian Hotel but yet casual and easily accessible location from Orange Avenue with a street-side entrance near the Lymmo stop. I have been to this location several times while visiting downtown and staff is always friendly and beverages well prepared to the best Starbucks quality. During a recent visit my colleague ordered an iced tea and the tea had to be brewed fresh as it had ran out, the Starbucks barista immediatly made the drink free despite only a 5 minute wait for freshly brewed tea. This was a pleasant surprise and a sign of good management that cares about its customers. If you find yourself in downtown and are looking for a coffee shop come here hands down! read more

how do you rate a starbucks? they are basically all the same. no complaints on the drinks, but i still prefer local coffee joints. he location, honestly, is horrible. it is only convenient for those at The Boheme and business people. the staff is "typical snooty starbucks" workers. Uh, I got loudly criticized by an older employee for ordering a bacon Gouda sandwich without Bacon (I could have mentioned that Starbucks chooses grade F meat and it is pretty gross even for a meat lover). The place is usually very busy and the cashiers seem to have a collective IQ of about 100. You can't rely on them to do more than take one request at a time; and they ring you up so fast you have to stand there and tell them everything twice. Narrow little Starbucks in the Grand Bohemian, and with the dearth of coffeeshops in the Orange Ave area downtown (seriously - what is with that?) it does get crowded at peak hours. The noise level can get up there, too, so this wouldn't be a Starbucks I'd choose to work out of unless I was stuck downtown. But they work through the backlog at the counter quickly enough and they have this amazing driftwood chandelier that I so badly wish I had in my dining room. I do not go to Starbucks that often, but I have never had a bad cup of coffee or latte when I do go. No matter which location. This was the first time I have been to this location since I had a seminar to go to at The Grand Bohemian. I stopped in and got a coffee venti, and sat down with my coffee and newspaper. The staff was friendly and quick with service, and as I watched from my seat, there was a constant stream of customers coming in for coffee or whatever hot beverage would get them through a cold day. I am impressed with the way the Starbucks staff was able to serve the rush of people and get them out the door. As for the interior, being in The Grand Bohemian makes for a wonderful experience. I really enjoyed the art work throughout. The space to the Starbucks, however is small. Much smaller than other Starbucks locations in Orlando. But with the many people who work downtown Orlando, it makes for a great location to get a great cup of coffee. read more

Located downtown on Lymmo stops and adjacent to the Bohemian Hotel. It is a mostly quite smaller starbucks, funky art gallery next door in the Bohemian. Has Wifi and relatively uncrowded for a coffeeshop downtown. read more

Perhaps one of the rudest services I have seen. Day after Christmas so not a lot of places open a few work mates decided we needed coffee. Called to ensure they were open and walked a good ways to get there for coffee only to be met by four baristas and a manager in a state of panic. Evidently the registers were down so they could not sell any products. We said all we want is coffee and the barrista started to say he would just give us coffee. The Manager stepped in and said no to the coffee and started to lock the doors. You would think 4 small coffees would set them back that much for the inconvenience of their problems but I guess so. They shoved us out and locked the doors. A good thing Barnies just opened down the street. They will now have my morning coffee business! Poor customer service and respect! read more

Went back to this same Starbucks this past week. Unfortunately continues to retains its reputation as worst Starbucks thanks to its "employees". Date was 11/21/2018 around 8:00 a.m. Actually pretty funny. 4 employees. 3 just milling around as line grew longer and longer. Finally only employee doing anything, Kendra (per my receipt), starting yelling at the other 3 to do something and everyone in line cheered. 15 minutes total for a "small dark roast no room". I'm a guest at the Grand Bohemian and went in to get a latte and had little expectations of the location because it is part of the hotel. They denied water to my medically needy teenager because she had to "purchase something first" it was a very hot day and our friends bought coffee but my daughter was feeling a but dehydrated and preferred water.
