    Iced Butterbeer Latte
    Fonda Y.

I really wish they had built this Starbucks while I was still attending UCF. The interior is gorgeous with its fireplace and brick-lined walls. Every so often, I make an excuse to meet up with friends on campus, and this is the perfect spot to catch up while people-watching through the glass window. Come fall, the line will run out the door - so take advantage of the summer semester! Side note - The butterbeer latte tastes nothing like butterbeer. Don't recommend it.

The most beautiful Starbucks location I've experienced.

It's Starbucks. It's new and exciting, thus the line is always long here. The staff is nice and accommodating, though.

Haraz Coffee House got its start in Dearborn, Michigan back in 2021 when Hamzah Nasser opened the first location of Haraz Coffee House and the idea of bringing Yemeni coffee to the community. So what makes Yemeni coffee so special? Well, Yemeni is considered to be the birthplace of coffee with the beans grown at high elevations. The beans themselves have an incredibly rich flavor and while a bit higher than other Coffee, such a fantastic coffee is worth a little more. The service here was friendly and i ordered a pistachio latte (hot). I have to say that this coffee was absolutely fantastic. The ambiance here is very comfortable and really adds to the overall experience. I would definitely recommend this particular coffee shop and in particular, their pistachio latte. I give it a well-earned five stars and I can say that I will definitely return.

I also enjoyed the matcha with lavender, if you are on the sweet side of things, I recommend asking for it be sweeten. The place is a great space to relax, study, or hang out. The inside design of the space is beautiful and the black and white flower paintings on the walls adds a great touch to the space. The server was kind and asked after if my items were up to standard, and everything tasted great to me. *Not pictured I ordered one baklava from the bakery there and the phone did not eat first, it was great and bite sized and I'll try to get a pic next time. I plan to come back to try new items but overall great experience.

I was really excited for the guava matcha. While I love their matcha, I was a little underwhelmed by how little guava flavor came through. You can see the tiny layer of guava in the picture, and I would have loved a bit more of it in the drink. I am willing to give it another shot with extra guava! The carrot cake croissant was incredible! I also tried the jalapeño goat cheese scone and was pleasantly surprised by the level of spice. I could eat that every day! And of course, service is always great. The space itself is one of my favorite parts of Lineage. It is bright, airy from all the natural light making it such a great place to hang out!

Also, it's a nice place to meet someone or get a little work done in a quiet and clean environment. That said, I'd probably skip the bakery items. I've tried a few over time and they've either been stale or overcooked, which is disappointing given how good the drinks are. Come for the coffee, but maybe grab your pastry somewhere else.

But be aware that is can be super addicting!!! Have them toast it for you! My other favorite was the egg tarts, the lightness and crispy edges were so yummy!! one perfect bite or maybe 2! The cinnamon roll was also a good pastry! Just enough sweetest and texture. If you are into the savory side, the ube custard crumb bun was actually a subtle choice, you can taste the ube. Their pistachio iced latte was also delish. We also got to try the tiramisu iced latte. 1 Bacon Shokupan Egg Sandwich, this had a lot of egg filling, also a great choice, I was super full from all the pastries so I'll have the other options when I'm back in town! And what caught my eye when doomscrolling through instagram and skimming through my apps for recommended food places were their sandwiches and pastries. They are as beautiful in person as they are in the pictures. One thing I can't infer from a picture very well is the size. And let me tell you, that sandwich was pretty massive. It's larger than some of the burgers I've been trying out lately in the area, so you get every bang out of your buck. I got the Beef Bugolgi Shokupan Sandwich, which was bursting with a generous serving of beef and a really large, soft, fluffy scrambled egg, all packed between 2 super thick and pillowy buttery toasted bread. I also got the Pork Belly Bao, which I honestly like better than the sandwich. The bao buns are super fluffy, and the pork belly slices are perfectly thick sliced and flavorful. It's a great menu item to get if you want to share with another person since it comes with 2 servings per order. For dessert, I struggled a bit to pick and choose, haha. Of course I couldn't just pick one, but I am a little proud of myself for only selecting 2 instead of a whole entire box. From the pastry case, I picked the custard donut, which was soft, chewy, and stuffed to bursting with a pudding-like filling. And from the cake case, I got the Raspberry mousse. I couldn't resist that glass-like ruby red skin. But unfortunately, it was too tart for my taste. There's a lot on the menu that I can't try in just one visit, so I'm definitely bound to come back again.

I was in the area visiting family and wanted to grab some coffee before the road trip home to South Florida. A local business is better than a Starbucks. Bonus is it's my favorite bakery in Orlando so I'm here for it. This Light on the Sugar is located next to the Regal Cinemas in Waterford Lakes. Squished between Charley's Philly Cheesesteaks and Zen Dumplings. What I dislike about this location is the wooden gazebo they built directly in front of these stores. It totally hides the name of the stores and it's not appealing. This made it hard to find too. They should honestly get rid of the gazebos, these poor stores may be losing potential business because people can't locate it. This bakery is the smallest one compared to the original two locations I've been to. It's ok because they still sell most of the same items, just less of a selection due to limited space. They offer the popular cream puffs, pastries, tarts, merch and drinks. On this particular day, I only got the Pistachio Latte and an Americano. My husband likes a good simple coffee with no bells and whistles. The other stuff is too much for him. Ha. I really debated getting pastries for the road but I was just at the Winter Park location yesterday and got an assortment so I was good on pastries. My Pistachio Latte was good, but it was a tad on the sweet sweeter side. I had my husband mix some of his Americano with my latte so it balanced out a little bit more for both of us. All in all, nice new and intimate location with a few tables indoors and outdoors. I still prefer the other beautiful and more aesthetic locations. Good thing this bakery wasn't here when I lived here, I would be broke! Lol.
