I enjoyed my croissant but disliked the drink--it was too syrupy. It was on the borderline of tasting like cough syrup. I called to get a replacement and spoke with Kale. He was friendly and so was the cashier at the window upon my arrival. Everything was all good. The second time around, I ordered an iced pistachio latte thinking it would be better. Jokes were on me. The espresso tasted bitter. I couldn't try finishing either of the drinks. Nonetheless, the personal written messages on the cups were a nice touch. Just left Starbucks on Pines & 184th. The service was mediocre as usual. This time was because the cashier in the drive thru was too busy talking to the other barristas crowded around her about how they wouldn't want to celebrate their wedding anniversary on the same day as their birthday. So because of her long drawn out conversation she and the other barristas ignored me and I was unable to get my phone scanned for points toward my order. They really need customer service training from Kim at the Starbucks on Weston Rd. Their staff is excellent and they make better coffee. read more

My favorite Starbucks branch by Pines Blvd and 184th! This location is the best if you ever decide to study/read/work from a cafe. Their internet is pretty decent, tables are evenly spaced out so that you're not on the next table's business, not to noisy (even when it's full) and friendly baristas! This has one of my go to locations if I just want to read in a cafe, the only time that I don't stay here is if they're closed or if they're full and every table is occupied. Most of the customers here are also reading/studying/working because it just has that cozy cafe ambiance. read more

I like this Starbucks for its location and the seating, but the service is awful. They actually told me that today I could not get an iced coffee. Not able to make it for me. Seriously? There are lots* of things I have not been able to get here that I can get at almost any other Starbucks. In the last few months I have been told that I can't get a Veranda after 11AM, I can't get an "off-season" drink, and about 2 weeks ago, they couldn't make me a hot* coffee. The barista insisted that it was cold because I asked for cream in the coffee? Hate to say it, but I visit another local Starbucks and can get all those things. If you have the choice of going to another Starbucks in Pembroke Pines I suggest doing so. Today was the last day I will be coming to this location, everytime I come it's an issue. Once they gave me a cup of just milk no coffee, another time my order was taken in the store and I waited and watched as people after me got their orders. Then today I noticed I ordered a grande cappuccino and my cup was half full. A nice young woman apologized and said "sorry this shouldn't be happening". Last thing to mention the drive thru is the longest line that does not move , you are better off going inside. The staff is young and sometimes friendly but Starbucks is poorly managed and I'm convinced the people do not know how to make coffee. read more

Honestly, this is my home Starbucks and despite it being the newest, it is always the most consistent. Even on their busiest mornings, they get my order right. I usually mobile order, but they pretty much know me by now and are just so kind to customers even before I became a "usual" they were nothing but respectful every time. I do want to give a shout-out to one barista though, I believe her name tag says Cozy, she has been a staple here for as long as I've been going and to tell the truth, when I see it's her making my coffee, I KNOW it's going to be fantastic. My coffee is always good from this particular location, but she somehow goes above and beyond every time and somehow makes it even better. Anyway, 10/10 definitely recommend this Starbucks. They do get pretty busy in the mornings though, so I for sure would recommend mobile ordering when leaving the house if you're in a rush. read more

over the last several months, this Starbucks location continues to disappoint. Besides the fact of sitting in line for over 20 minutes in the drive-through to get morning coffee when the line is not that long to receive a double dirty chai that taste like water and something else is very disappointing and this is not the first time. The last time I returned 3 cups of coffee and asked them to remake them the quality of serviceand the quality of taste really needs to be looked into. I have never been to a Starbucks that has been more disappointing. Come on Silver Lakes you can do better than this. read more

After the long wait, Starbucks has finally made its way to Pembroke Pines next to Walmart. Now I don't have to drive to Miramar just to buy a Frappuccino! Every Starbucks is different, but the vibe here is lovely! A beautiful interior where everyone can lounge around and get things done; however, the drive-through was a shocker! While you're ordering, you're not just talking to a voice. You get to see and interact with a barista, so don't be shy now. Their bright smile will lighten your day! I wanted to order a Vanilla Bean Frappuccino, until I saw a sign that said, "IT REMAINS TO BE SEEN! Crystal Ball Frappuccino - What Do the Mystical Sparkles Mean?" Easily caught my eyes and something I NEEDED to try! The Crystal Ball Frappuccino is embellished with a blue tie-dye swirl, and the whipped cream is peach-flavored and sprinkled in one of three different colors: green, blue, or purple. Green is for luck, blue is for adventurous, and purple is for magic. The fun part is that you can't choose your color - even the baristas don't know. What does YOUR future hold? It's sad to say that this Frappuccino was only available for four days, with its debut being on Thursday (03/22/2018). Went to the drive thru for a small treat for my daughter . She loves the caramel frappuccino. I like the hibiscus tea. The drive thru was clear loved it usually it's a long line at other places. Our server was great and hospitable very friendly. He knew exactly what we asked for and it was delicious. So I'm inside this Starbucks charging my phone. My fiancé was driving behind me and somehow he lost me along the way on Pines Blvd due to traffic being diverted from a major car accident. I remembered they built this brand new Starbucks in the Silver Lakes Walmart plaza. I walked in and ordered something that finally sits well with my palate other than tea. Iced caramel macchiato with soy milk, 1.5 pumps of vanilla & 1.5 pumps of toffee nut syrup. Delish! The supervisor informed me that there is an outlet literally everywhere... even the tables have built in electrical outlets. And an outlet along the entire wall. Usually at most Starbucks I go to I have to hunt an outlet down. Not here! How convenient. Well, now I sit here enjoying my macchiato waiting for him to arrive. I have brought this issue up to the staff on multiple occasions, and this is likely the 10th time it has occurred but nothing seems to change. I usually go to this Starbucks on the weekends because it is closer to my house versus the one I visit on weekdays is closer to work. I always order a simple bold coffee and more often than not they are always out and ask if I want another kind. It doesn't seem very difficult to ensure that coffee is brewing once it is low, but it never fails that I must wait an extra 5-10 minutes to simply wait for coffee to brew. I would like to add that there is usually only 2-3 other patrons inside and a few cars in the drive-thru as it is an early weekend day, so I'm not sure why this delay comes in and hasn't been rectified. read more

The mobile orders do not work. I've order via the mobile option (pre preferred via cell phone) like 4 times and when I get to this Starbucks to pick up the order they had not even started it. They said it only takes one minute to do the order yet they won't even start it until I get there. Frustrating when you are in a hurry to get you work and take the time to use the mobile app to order early. Worst customer service ever. Place an order on the app with an estimated time. Arrive on time waiting behind a customer that had another lengthy order. That's fine, those things happen. Pull up to receive my order, the whole time I see the three staff members walking around like they don't know what they're doing and there's nobody behind me in the drive-through line. The drive-through at this location is slow. They handle customer problems in the line while the rest of the customers wait in long lines develop. Additionally I have been in the store when the display items have had visible mold on them. When I brought it to the attention of the manager, they seemed unconcerned about changing the food out until I questioned as to why they weren't doing it. read more

This Starbucks location does a poor job at representing what Starbucks is known for. Actually, I'm curious about what was really going on in this Starbucks on Pines Blvd. and 184th streets this given time? There was only one vehicle ahead of me in drive-thru, yet it took them ( I saw 3 employees inside) over 10 minutes to serve vehicle in front of me and I watched how they had to correct his order as it took another 5 minutes for missing/wrong item(s) My turn...finally, a Grande coffee and cheese danish, incredible 10 minutes go by... danish comes out first, they did not asked/offer to warm it up, it was cold, coffee comes out and it felt lighter than usual for a Grande, so I removed the lid but the whipped cream concealed the coffee level. I drive to the front to see if perhaps the actual coffee shop was packed with patrons? There was 1 gentleman seating outside, and there were no patrons waiting in line, so I wondered what was going on for the unlike Starbucks service. I get home and again remove the lid from my coffee, the whipped cream had settled at this point and to my shock they served me half a cup of coffee. I contact this location and the person who identified herself as Virginia "I'm the acting manager" offers absolutely no response or fix to my complaint, just says "ok" several times while I'm voicing my 25 minute wait for a cold danish and half cup of coffee. I replied by telling her I would notify the owner about her indifferent attitude about the poor service I received, then she becomes responsive and (by now too late) offers me a free cup of coffee. What an outstanding Starbucks location!! The other franchise owners should really take heed to some of the practices that are implemented here. While I will not mention any location specifically to maintain my professionalism, there's a starbucks within 7 miles of this location that i would go to weekly, over the past 6 years. Over time, I noticed a decline in not only the drinks, but the staff and cleanliness of the restaurant in general. Anywho- this is not their yelp page. This new Starbucks is absolutely PRISTINE! Theres plenty of seating, and spacious area for high top seating in the area. The music is low, if any at all (like a real coffee shop!) The staff is not having a "who can be the loudest contest," and are always super respectful to the guests that walk in. I came here on a Monday afternoon between 11-3 and never had an issue with the noise, crowd, staff, food, coffee, etc. What looked to be the franchise owner, was sitting close by at a high top doing administrative work, and calling over staff members one at at time to review new menu items and other time sensitive information. You're always greeted with a welcome, regardless of how many times you walk in and out. I wish I knew her name!!! But there was a lady there who was passing out samples of new bakery items, and individually selling each piece, with a description, to every single seated guest in the restaurant. When someone made a comment about it being too sweet, she would offer them water. Then she would ask them if they wanted ice or not, and the cup size (as if water isnt simply just water!!) This is why this location will always stay up and running. Every member of the staff was more polite than even a chik-fil-a employee, the franchise owner was sweeping the floor, and had the normal barista uniform on like everyone else. Even when they had a short team meeting in the back, when someone new walked in, before the door closed behind them, that same sweet latin woman greeted them with a smile and welcomed them.
