When you first walk in, there is an impressive display of teas and coffee available to buy, which is fun to browse. You order at the register and then wait for your drinks or pastries, all of which looked delicious. I also loved that their coffee roaster is on display, so you know the coffee is fresh. I had a Gibraltar and it was perfectly made. My wife picked up some tea to take home and has been enjoying it ever since. If you like a milder matcha flavor, you'll probably enjoy it. The flan was my favorite part of the visit. It had a great texture and wasn't overly sweet, which I appreciated. A lot of flans can be a sugar bomb, but this one felt much more balanced. The cafe itself was clean, comfortable, and a nice place to sit for a coffee, pastry, or meeting. I enjoyed it, although it tasted almost like a healthy drink because of the bee pollen! I typically enjoy their gluten free pumpkin muffin, which is delicious! This location of avid doesn't have as many food options as their Santa Rosa location, but it's all still very good.
