Hi, I just wanted to share some honest feedback because my family used to really enjoy coming here. The girl who normally works there is always kind, welcoming, and friendly with my daughters, which makes such a difference. But the newer man who's been working the last few months has honestly made the experience feel uncomfortable. He often comes across rude, unfriendly, and not very helpful. A lot of times we're told there are no sample cups, and every time I try to use rewards in the app, he either can't help or won't apply them. I've actually lost two rewards because of it. I totally understand everyone has off days, but customer service and helping customers use the rewards system should really be part of the experience, especially in a family place. I just wanted to make management aware because it's gotten to the point where I don't really want to come back, which is disappointing because my daughters love frozen yogurt. read more

Perfect treat any day you're in the neighborhood! Seems to be a popular spot whenever we drop by. Yogurtland is my favorite frozen yogurt so when we're anywhere nearby, we always try to visit. Their yogurt has a nice smooth consistency and it has never been overly sweet for me. I'm sad that the one closer to us has closed. They always have an incredible selection of flavors and toppings sure to please anyone's taste. They have a few tables inside and out to enjoy your dessert. The inside is decorated with pleasing greens and pinks and clear signage with photos above each flavor. The employees today were sweeping and wiping down areas to ensure their guests had a positive experience so everything looked clean and tidy. As always, we enjoyed our treat and look forward to coming back next time we're in Petaluma. read more

Writing to formally report an upsetting experience I had at your establishment today, March12/26, I have been a loyal customer for many years, but the treatment I received from one staff members was completely unacceptable. While visiting, I sampled a small item that appeared to be new. An employee called me out for this, and although I apologized immediately, his response was unprofessional. When I mentioned that a machine appeared to be broken, he responded in a very rude and dismissive tone. Most distressingly, while he was attempting to take my phone number, he literally put his hand over my daughter's mouth to tell her to be quiet. This last act tower my child a serious line. It seems we had the same negative experience as a few others. We haven't been there in a while and decided to treat ourselves on this warm sunny day. Asked for a few sample cups because the kids weren't sure which flavor they wanted. Male working the register was super rude and gave us 2 sample cups. Been here hundreds of times. Today was our last. The owner - or whoever it is that is here EVERY time- was berating my husband accusing him of spilling yogurt while he was filling his cup. Unfortunately, this place isn't what it used to be. We have been coming to this location for years. Not sure if it changed ownership or what but we had to wait and wait for anyone to come out so we could ask for sample cups and then were told no more than 1 per person pretty harshly when we asked for more. The sample cups are half the size they used to be, absolutely teeny tiny, to be so pretty much sure thing you get yogurt all over your hands, gross. If you have kids, you know that only getting to try 1 flavor is a recipe for disaster. The prices have gone way up so a cup of yogurt my kid got was over $10!!! And guess what, they didn't like the flavor they ended up getting. So we won't be back. The place in RP is way more friendly, they change their flavors more often and you can try as many samples as you'd like. read more

I stopped by Monday night around 8:30pm because I was craving froyo and I also feel like all the Yogurtland locations are closing nearby. This location is located in the same mall strip as HomeGoods and Target. I would say it is at the optimal location considering those places tend to have a higher foot traffic. When I walked in, there were 2 people sitting and enjoying their froyo and there was one worker working on cleaning up one of the machines. She walked towards the back and I had to flag her down so I could ask if they had sample cups so I can try some of the new flavors before committing. Similar to another review, the girl working did not really present herself with a friendly vibe. She seemed annoyed or tired to be there... Anyways, I opted to try a few of the flavors. The strawberry one was VERY sweet, similar to the one you may find at the Costco Food Court now. The astro pop was exactly like the popsicle you get at the grocery store. Similar to an icy consistency. The chocolate cookie dough tasted like what it seemed but this too was VERY sweet. When I tried to get the mango tart in the sample cup, it was so watered down that it ended up all on my fingers. The flavor was good but the consistency was not there. I opted for the original tart and my boyfriend wanted the mango tart for the flavor even though it was a bit more watered down. I usually get the same few toppings, mochi, cookie dough, toffee bits, diced strawberries and diced mangos. When I looked at the topping bar, it was a tad sad. It did have some of these toppings like the mochi but I did not see the toffee bits. The strawberries were anything but diced, it was literally strawberries cut in half. Decided to stop here late night on the drive up to Santa Rosa for a wedding. We noticed they are right off the 101 and open until 11pm on a Saturday, which was perfect! Getting into the lot was a little roundabout from where you exit the freeway, but there was plenty of parking as things were mostly closing around 10pm. It's located in the same shopping center and to the right if you're looking at Target. The place was clean and mostly empty. There was one guy paying on our way in and a group of 3 high school aged kids walking in as we left. The girl at the counter was friendly, and we greeted each other as I walked by. She let me know they were out of sample cups, which was a little disappointing. They are still doing self-serve, with regular and large sized cups. They have space for 16 flavors, with 4 empty ones at the time of our visit. They have a pretty good variety of flavors with options like Madagascar Vanilla, Dutch Chocolate, Strawberry, Cookie Dough, Cheesecake, as well as some more exciting flavors like Birthday Cupcake Batter, Peanut Butter Cup, and an Orange Blossom White Peach Light Ice Cream. The toppings bar is also self-serve, with a wide variety of labeled options. Everything from cookies, to crushed up candy bars, to gummy bears and worms, to fresh cut strawberries, lychee, boba balls, plus sauces and sprinkle-able toppings! You can get as much or as little as you want since they charge you by the ounce. The tables and chairs inside were not set out for people to use. Unsure if that was due to the time of day, but it seemed like they were to-go or deliver only. Definitely stop by this place if you're in the area and looking for some quality self-serve fro-yo! read more

Dishonest! I thought I had signed up for the rewards program, and when I went to log my points, the young man, (who I believe is owner son) told me... Oh, you don't need to use the app, I'll log them for you with your phone number. I gave him my phone number on at least six different occasions and every time he made me believe my rewards were being logged. When the owner waited on me the last time I was there, he told me I didn't have an account, which was confirmed by their corporate offices. So, when I saw the son again, I asked him for a discount on the yogurt I was purchasing that day, he rudely said... "You'll have to talk to the owner" then walked into the back room ending the conversation. If he plugs in a phone number, and there is no account attached to it, it clearly shows that on the register. I will NEVER go back to this yogurt shop unless it's under new ownership. The next time someone asks for a minimal discount on the yogurt they're buying because of your dishonesty, you might want to consider giving it to them or risk getting one-star reviews on both Yelp and Google. PS... This is not fixable, so don't tell how sorry you are for my experience and to reach out to Yogurtland, (who needs some serious competition in Petaluma). read more

Who doesn't love frozen yogurt Yum! I have a three-year-old grandchild and she was over the moon to have frozen yogurt after a shopping trip. The shop was almost too clean if that's possible. Some candy sprinkles were spilt while we were getting our toppings and the person working there stopped and cleaned up the sprinklers before he checked us out (little hard to wait when you have a three year old.) Also every time we pass there you look inside and you see Nobody the sales person hides in the back.... Several times we passed by and thought they were closed. So upon entering nobody said hello how are you today. We actually walked all the way in and got a frozen yogurt cup filled it up and walk to the front before we saw anybody. This review is based on my past experience ( it has been about 2 years ), but I still think that I should say something about it. Last time I was here I got some frozen yogurt with gummies ( sour patch kids) as a topping. The gummies were so hard ( I guess they were old ) that while I was trying to chew on them, a part of my tooth filling cracked and fell out... I came here Monday evening at around 10:15 didn't think of it much as the place said the closed at 11, however the young lady at the front had the mannerism of person who doesn't want to work or cares about their costumers i understand you got to pack up for the night but rolling your eyes when someone comes in 40 minutes before you close up just for them to be there for less then five minutes is making me turn away from here. The floor was soaking especially by the yogurt dispensers. Most hostile place I've ever been to I felt unwanted. You don't mop the whole thing up an hour before you close up. Wow! We've been going to Yogurtland every Sunday after flag football for the past few weekends and have always had very pleasant experiences with the lady behind the counter. Not today! The person behind the counter was EXTREMELY RUDE. I asked if they had a loyalty program and the person said no and rolled their eyes at me. Then, I asked where they get their yogurt from and the person completely ignored me and when I asked again they said, "how should I know?" And gave me a dirty look. I was shocked. All the machines were turned the other way so you cannot self serve due to covid. You only see tubes. It's like getting the back of someone's head. The flavors are still listed on top of the machines. Why can't they just have a laminated list of flavors at the cashier's or a magnetic board with list of flavors. Why have us walk back there and read the flavors? To order, you tell the servers what you want. The fun for me was to pull the lever and get as small a portion as possible. No longer free to do that. Someone determines how much you get. Then it is weighed and 60 cents per oz. The chocolate flavors were smooth. Plain was icy. Mango had good flavor. Strawberry had no flavor. I live on the east coast and no Yogurtland near me. So when I'm in Petaluma visiting family, this is a must go to spot.The flavor offerings are great. I tried the plain/original, a favorite. Tried the toasted coconut and deep chocolate both deliciouse, all yogurts but they also have some ice creams as well. The toppings looked great and the place was clean and tidy. This was a much welcome stop on our 200 mile run through town. It's your standard Yogurtland with 14 or 16 self serve machines and toppings bar. Reason this only gets 3 stars because it wasn't particularly clean or tidy when we came, there was trash on the floor, trash can full to the top, big dollops of Yogurt in the drip trays and the male staff members wasn't welcoming at all. Oh and when we got back to our van I noticed my team mate had been given the limited edition spoons (without asking) while I got the standard one. Boo. I collect them too. As for the Yogurt itself it's the usual delicious flavors and much welcome after running so many miles. read more

First time visiting this location and their yogurt was delicious and a nice thick consistency. I love their tart original and coconut was really delicious. Service was prompt and friendly. Only thing I would suggest is to have hand sanitizer ready for customers since it is self serve and everyone touches the machines. I didn't like touching it right after other people just used it and there was no hand sanitizer available. read more

I love froyo and this place is my favorite spot to get some at here in Petaluma. It's been around a few years and it's been a great addition to this area. It's a pretty popular place! Many flavors to choose from and toppings aplenty! Sometimes they don't have strawberries which is a bummer, but other than that, I'm never disappointed.
