I've been to Starbucks across the country. Some are better than others. This location was fantastic. Perhaps it was the because it was in the charming village or Pittsford, perhaps being adjacent to the public library made it unique (not a kiosk in the library, but in the same building), or perhaps it was the terrific and welcoming staff. This location is deceptively busy. There is a lot of people pre ordering and picking up. The staff are extremely friendly. I ordered a drink to pick up on their app. Because of covid they have some seating up so people don't sit in an area they can't socially distance. I love the staff and feel of this Starbucks location! Always bustling with people having meetings, families on their way back from the library, and students digging into their homework. I enjoy stopping here after errands on a Saturday, since it is one of the only coffee options nearby, and I love the community feel. My standard order is verrrrrrry boring, a tall black blonde roast. Employees are always quick with a smile even though I think they do take a lot of abuse at this location, and folks who treat them less than kindly. I also, and this is going to sound soooo ridiculous, enjoy that they actually heat their breakfast sams the entire time the oven says to. WE HAVE ALL BEEN THERE when you're very excited about your breakfast sam only to realize it is COLD in the middle. Anyways. This is a good clean location that is worth a stop in a pinch! read more

There was, at one point in time, a rumor that this Starbucks was going to take over the space on Main Street formerly occupied by Great Northern Pizza... sadly, this didn't transpire. Why sadly? Because this Starbucks could very well fill a larger space. It's a high traffic location with very few parking slots out front. Patrons of this Starbucks are often left competing for the limited spots on the street; failing that, they hie over to the ESL parking lot, where they might risk getting towed. Inside you'll find a clubby & very cozy interior. The barristas do a very nice job preparing the various Starbucks concoctions. I make it a regular stop whenever I'm out & about on my daily walks. read more

I give 4 stars because of parking lot reason. This place is in the same building as Pittsford public library. The parking lot can be sucks sometimes if it gets too busy then it's be harder to find a good park spot. The employees at Starbucks are very friendly and very helpful. I always loved to go this place more than other Starbucks because it's connivence for me to get the drinks and go to library or go to Pittsford community center. You'd love going here if you like to go to library often and study then this place is a great place for you to grab some drinks and food. read more

All Starbucks locations have about the same food options, so I won't get in to that here. Suffice to say, it's a clean and well-managed location that got me my coffee on a busy day within 2-3 minutes. Efficient, friendly and knowledgable. There's limited parking outside, but it's in a nice, semi-quiet area and is perfect in the summertime. The interior is large and there's plenty of table space. Just in my few visits, I've seen students working and studying, people meeting with friends and others working on laptops on their own. It's a great place to get work done, as the open area and space leave plenty going on around you to prevent the boredom that comes with working at home. I enjoy going to this particular Starbucks location even though its really a struggle to get in and out of the parking lot mind that you could never find parking spot empty. other than that the store is spacious and cozy Has a lot of seating inside in 2 different areas Where i see students of all ages studying and meeting No outside seating which i think would makes a big difference. its a great spot where i love to grab a coffee and take a walk on the water specially early morning and evening Hours. Pros: Seems like a nice shop, large and with plenty of space to sit. Located conveniently along the canal and in an area easy to access by foot. Cons: Well, they don't serve decaf coffee. Except early in the mornings. Starbucks is supposed to serve...coffee. As the other reviews have noted, if they find it inconvenient to make a product, they'll just refuse to sell it. And they won't be nice. I didn't ask for a triple vente half sweet nonfat Carmel macchiato. I asked for DECAF COFFEE. Rather than go "Hey sure! It might be a wait but sit tight and we'll get some brewed up," I got a pretty nasty reaction. A woman came over to tell me that it made no sense for her to serve decaf coffee "because it would sit out all day." And yet there I stood. As I left, the employee decided it would be professional to yell after me "BYE BYE NOW! Have a GREAT day!!" So, to sum it up: they don't sell a staple menu item, they'll be incredulous if you order it, and they'll halt everything in the store to sarcastically yell at you as you depart. OK, so I'll be honest... I LOVE Starbucks... and this location is cute. But, parking is NOT FUN, especially if you have a large vehicle. And it's confusing too... there are 3 entry points on the main road, but only one is correct.... and then there are only 4 (maybe 5) parking spots. If you park on the bakery side, there is a chance of being towed (the signs say it), and the other lot is secured and definitely the wrong one. And sadly, during my one visit. I waited quite a long time behind only one customer, who turned out to be an employee (I know this because he eventually went behind the counter to finish his own order). I was just disappointed in the amount of time that was spent with an obvious employee... with no eye contact to me, who had been waiting for quite some time. So, just a note to the staffer... make EYE CONTACT and acknowledge people waiting in line... you never know who it might be... it might be a Yelper planning their next review. read more

I stopped in to this Starbucks to use WiFi and it was close so I could ride my bike. There wasn't a bike rack but I noticed other people were leaving their bikes against the wall so I guess it's a friendly neighborhood. So everyone knows Starbucks. No need to review the drinks, some of which are awesome (salted caramel hot chocolate anyone?) and some of which don't have as many fans. I am personally not a coffee drinker, so I'm safe staying out of that argument. Let me pre-state that I had intended to go to Village Bakery, but when I realized I forgot my wallet, I was forced to use Square on my phone to buy my lunch, which of course severely limited my selection of places to choose from. And I was starving. Starbucks to the rescue...?? Not really. Today I am reviewing the Starbucks food menu. I have noticed the breakfast sandwiches at several Starbucks, and I have enjoyed them numerous times. They crush McDonald's breakfast sandwich (high standards, I know) any time you're on the run. Personally I recommend the ham & cheddar. My husband likes the one with bacon, though. We would give these 3-4 stars. I don't recommend the breakfast wrap at all, but the sandwiches are good. Anyway, today I tried a lunch panini; I've never had any Starbucks paninis in the past. Not even sure how long they've been around, I got the ham & Swiss cheese. The bread was crisped and sandwich warm. I was intrigued. Once I opened it though I realized no aspect of this sandwich was fresh. It's ham was ultra salty and he so lopsided on this sandwich it was ridiculous. The Swiss cheese wasn't the worst, but was obviously processed and also extremely lopsided in its distribution. However, what really sealed the deal to sandwich misery was the mustard. Completely absent on half the sandwich, which was fine, as the menu didn't even mention mustard from what I could remember. Then when I got to the other half of the sandwich it was completely overwhelmingly soaked with thick mustard. Totally bizarre and completely inedible. 1 star for that sucker. Too bad I was on the go, otherwise I definitely would have taken it back. Sorry to pin this bad review on this exact Starbucks because the service here is good, the baristas are nice, the wifi and seating are great. Main thing is it could be larger with better parking. I've come to this location many times for drinks and even the breakfast sandwiches and always enjoyed them. I just averaged the breakfast sandwiches against that miserable panini and got 2 stars. The coffee is the same as every other Starbucks, but unfortunately the baristas at this particular Starbucks just don't measure up. The service is painfully slow and I have had my drink made incorrectly many times (a non-fat vanilla latte shouldn't be that hard). With the parking issues that other people have mentioned it would be nice if there was a sense of urgency to get people what they ordered and on their way. The strangest thing is how great the service is at the Starbucks at Clover and Monroe about a mile away. I will be making the longer drive to start my morning off without the frustration. read more
