Drive thru customer. Disappointed as the breakfast menu was unavailable at 7 am. But otherwise quick and friendly service. Speedy pit stop and easy access to the expressway. Several fast food options and gas station near by.

    Strawberry Lemonade Refresher

They took 30 minutes to make a lemonade. We came July 20 and left on the 21st of July . But in all seriousness, they are very slow. And I usually get the Strawberry lemonade refresher, and let me tell you this wasn't refreshing. It tasted okay at first and has a terrible after-taste, and whenever I get this drink this never happens...

I have only been here a few times as i travel between Michigan and Chicago. Reading the reviews have me puzzled. When I arrived this last time they did not have what I ordered in my mobile order and they were attentively waiting for me to let me know and offer an alternative. The staff were very friendly and the service was great. The store was clean and I actually like the layout. Being someone who has been to MANY Starbucks, it comes down to the people on staff. As i am writing this I am sitting at a Starbucks in North Park, IL (Foster and Sawyer), a place that I frequent when in the area. I feel at home here due to great staff. That is the same feeling I feel whenI go to this Starbucks. The coffee is the cofeee at any Starbucks. What makes a great Starbucks? A staff and management that love their job. If I lved in the area I would make this my home Starbucks.

This Starbucks is right off the highway and across from a gas station, making it the perfect place to stop and fill up yourself and your vehicle. I did this every time I drove through. It didn't hurt that there was a Star Dash going on one weekend (bonus stars for 'bux cardholders), which served as extra incentive to pull over at this exit for gas. There is ample outdoor seating, which I unfortunately didn't get to enjoy but that, plus my drinks not being screwed up, earn it four stars. Service was meh. The baristas didn't seem thrilled, but they delivered what I ordered, and there is a clean bathroom. The first time I stopped here was pretty hilarious, though -- Every person in line ahead of me would have easily topped the list of "Most Annoying Starbucks Customers." Super-specific orders, last minute changes while and then after paying, buying a mug - just a mug, no coffee (who does that?!) and then having it gift-wrapped, little kids running with chocolate milk from the cooler... Glad I wasn't in a terrible hurry. (That may have been slightly laced with sarcasm, but I ended up laughing in my head more than screaming, so all was well. :))

    Flat tire.

Order always made wrong and always takes forever to get through the drive thru. Worst Starbucks I've ever been to.

It was suggest by a friend but I had never been. The experience was wonderful! The entire staff was attentive to our party and there were other large parties there. I had the salmon salad and 2 espresso martinis, both were delicious. The food was so good we all sampled each others' - apple French toast, chicken biscuit with cheese grits, fries and the grilled PB&J. I should have ordered one of those to go. The coffee bar is quite large on the inside with two sides and a nice size bar. Matt, the owner, communicated with my friends to make sure everything para perfect for the shower. We got to meet his mom who was lovely as well. Tiny's is clearly a gathering spot for the community. It's worth the trip to Gary.

Very cute place, and the waitress was very attentive and gave us recommendations, came back often to check on us and refill our drinks. Lots of drink options, including cocktails, wine, beer, cider. I got a grapefruit radler which I don't see too often. Several yummy looking things in the menu, and vegetarian and gluten free options. I went with the recommendation of vegetarian fried rice, topped with a fried egg. My friend got the chips and guac and pork belly side. We both liked the food quite a bit! A great find! Lots of people were there, and there was live music which was a bit loud, but definitely recommend this spot.

I asked for my eggs over medium and even specified the whites full done with the yolk runny. I got hash browns that were very soft and barely warm and eggs that were cooked with a very hard yolk. when the waitress returned I asked for the eggs to be recooked how I ordered them and hash browns that were hot and cooked. I then watched what I assumed was the manager at the kitchen window dissect them with his fingers and become very defensive with a poor attitude that I would send them back. when the food came back the eggs WERE correct (they did a very good job on the second set of eggs) but my hash browns were mush like they poured oil on frozen potatoes and chopped onions then stuck them in the microwave (I was literally able to make mashed potatoes out of them with my fork) and the onions were raw and crunchy. If breakfast for two is almost $40 (2 eggs, 3 sausage links, 2 slices of French toast with a side of hash browns) and ( French toast and 3 sausage links) and 2 fountain drinks. I should not get better food at McDonald's at that price and a sit down restaurant.

I loved the taste. I purchased a $17.00 key Lime, Lemon was out. I also bought a Lemon Slice, was not as good. The young lady with the noise piercing finished my sale. Within ear shot, I heard the lady behind me order a Chocolate Pie. The young lady says $8.00. I leave out the store confused as to why the person behind me charged only 1/2 of what I paid. I looked for a sale announcement, nothing indicating such. Went back in to inquire how this could happen at 6pm. She explained; because the pie was a day old....I asked her was this advertised anywhere as an I option? She looked at me like her hand was caught in the cookie jar and says "no". I left the store with the pie I paid full price; which I had no problem paying for, just wanted fairness. As a retired black elder, I just wanted to believe things could change. I guess Indiana just hasn't caught up yet. I probably will not spend my money there any longer.

We were greeted by a friendly person behind the counter and found lots of goodies to choose from. Their pies look great, and are bargain-priced compared to what we are used to in Chicago. They had a holiday table with toffee and other goodies. It wasn't until we left and I read the reviews that I knew that they are famous for their toffee. Something we missed out on. We ended up buying two blueberry muffins and a nut-laden banana bread. When decided between their zucchini bread and banana bread, we asked the counter person which one was better. Her answer was that she had never eaten either of them. Not a great help, and my suggestion is that employees should sample and be familiar with the product they are selling. That said, we went with the banana bread and was absolutely delicious--moist, flavorful and with a generous coating of nuts. Marilyn's banana bread was much better than the banana coffee cake that we had given our La Porte friends from a fancy-schmancy Chicago bakery--and it was a third of the price. The blueberry muffins were good, too. Not sure when we will ever be back in Hobart, Indiana, but Marilyn's is worth a stop if you're in the area.
