This place had the ultimate indie vibes. Lots of natural light and lots of plants all over. The staff was friendly and had a lot of great recommendations for what to try. I ended up getting an iced latte and so did everyone else in my group. The larger coffees definitely have a LOT of espresso in them compared to other coffee shops that I've tried. I would definitely come back to work in this specific Fluid location or meet a friend to catch up. read more

Incredible find! We stopped by from out of town on the recommendation of our home coffee shop -- and when a roaster recommends another roaster, you know it's going to be good. Fluid absolutely lived up to the hype! Everything here is truly handcrafted: they roast their own beans, make their own syrups, and put so much care into every detail. The service was just as impressive. Jordan (I think!) was friendly, welcoming, and happy to chat about their coffee and products. We ordered a Voodoo Latte and a drip. Both were excellent -- the drip was perfectly brewed and fresh even though it wasn't a pour-over, with the flavor notes shining through. The latte was beautifully balanced with a spot-on espresso shot. They also have an extensive bagel sandwich menu, which looked amazing. I'll definitely be back to try one next time. And the vibe? Stunning. The space is beautifully styled, with thoughtful details and even separate rooms for meetings. A perfect spot for both coffee and atmosphere. read more

Another win by Fluid! I'm all for their consistency across locations, smart menu variety, enjoyable staff, and the atmospheres keep getting better! There's plenty of parking, a good ramp and steps up to the entry, lots of space and clean well setup tables. I noticed a group chatting away in the corner and others coming and going like this places has been here for decades. My blueberry matcha was fantastic, a bummer they didn't seem to have a discount for bringing in my own glass or any rewards program. Loyalty should be a top tier handshake for the quality all round here. read more

I found myself in Valpo over the weekend for a wedding. A friend and I stumbled into Fluid while we were trying to kill some time before the festivities started. First, the decor and ambience is great! I love the dark skull edgy vibe, so cool. They have a ton of coffee drink options both hot and cold as well as a full menu for food. Great spot for conversations- lots of seating, not too close together, and even a couple of private rooms. Throwback music contributed to the nice vibes and wasn't too loud. There's lots of bright light and thoughtful decor. The avocado toast is one of the best I've had- the balsamic and bagel added another dimension. Loved everything about Fluid. From the delicious specialty coffee drink with oat milk served in a cool dark generous sized coffee cup to the super cool atmosphere and music. Love the play list! Was told it's the owners son who determines it and creates all of the wearables which are all very stylish as well. Love the light menu, snacks and donuts. This is how a coffee shop should be. The fresh roasted coffee was smooth and delicious. Will definitely check out their other locations and the roaster in Michigan City. read more

I have never had such a blatantly outstanding time, anywhere. The workers were so very friendly and thoughtful, Ms Raegan even helped me decide what to try. She and the rest of the crew left a lasting impression. This may have been my first time but after seeing just how much one "coffee" shop has to offer, well I'm going to be hurriedly running back as soon as thirst grips me. The Fluid Bosco store is amazing. Fluid is a local family owned business with a handful of locations. My favorite coffees are the Novo Ordus on the summer menu ans the Aztec mocha on the winter menu but you can get either all year if you ask.
