It's not a bad location and the staff seem nice, just very very slow. It's 70+ degrees outside on a Sunday afternoon, one working counter, one working drive through. You have to add another 20-30 minutes to your trip if you want Starbucks from here. I don't understand why they can't add more staff. read more

Better than average Starbucks location, very inviting. The staff were really nice, and the summer refresher drink I got was cold and tasted quite good for a chain location. I ordered in the app at 2:44 PM on Saturday and I sat in the drive-through for a good I don't know it's 3:20 PM now and I pulled up to the window and they try to hand me the wrong drink when I showed it to her and it's on the receipt inside the store so I'll never be coming here again they obviously can't handle that many orders all I ordered was a Trenta pink drink and they try to hand me a coffee drink. Always love my Venti iced white mocha! Thee best drink ever made! I love their lemon loaf too! No matter what Starbucks I stp at, there is consistency in their beverages, which is one of thr many things I love about Starbucks! Thank you for not thinking the "white mocha" should be a seasonal drink only like a Canadian-based coffee place argues. Not gonna lie, I was a little nervous upon arrival at this location. I arrived at 3:40pm to pick up my online order (tried to avoid a line), but the drive thru line wrapped alllllll around the building. I took a deep breath and prepared to hurry up and wait. But, Starbucks has it figured out pretty well. The line went quicker than expected. Before too long, I was happily (or maybe one would say "merrily") sipping my peppermint mocha with an extra shot. I visited this location on Monday July 10th, as I walked in I saw a acquaintance/friend of mine who works there and she came out and gave me quick hug and ran back to the register and tried to take my order. I was the only person in line inside but I know they were busy bc of the drive thru BUT still I am a costumer. She was asking me what I would like when we were RUDELY interrupted by the shift leader Eric who told her " no no no you're making drinks, I'll get her in just a moment." Not only was I put in a uncomfortable and embarrassing situation, it really was just plain rude and poor customer service. I'm not sure what else he said but I heard him say something along the lines of "...work first." Which made no sense since I am a paying customer. I also work in costumer service and my manager would never. I was so embarrassed for my friend as well. I hope this changes. read more

This Starbucks has been open for nearly a year and I didn't even know! Granted, I'm only in Michigan once every 6-8 weeks :) but I always drove way out of the way when there was one here! Anyway, I love the outside- the metal siding is super cute and modern. The inside had TONS of seating and they have a really large patio outside now that it's warming up I'm sure it'll be packed! I come here often and this next bit is consistent with every visit... I wanted to wait a while to see if it was just a fluke (they ran out of supplies etc) Great service and it is usually always fast, regardless of the length of the line. The ONE thing that bothers me though is they're always handing out our "hot" drinks in the drive-thru without a sleeve or stopper. I get the sustainability and "green" side of it, especially if people just throw the stopper away. But, the hot drinks need a sleeve. Let me decide and decline it. I can clearly see the stack of sleeves and green stoppers in the window of the drive-thru, otherwise I would not even post something like this. It is easy to ask if I would like a sleeve or a stopper. Told there was honey on the stand...had to return and ask for packets because there was none. I have been a gold member since 2004. I have never had an experience where I couldn't redeem my free bday drink. I go 2 days after my bday to redeem and was told that you can only redeem on the bday. Barista had my drink in hand. I told her I did not know that. Thats where the bad customer service comes into play; batista threw it away instead of making a loyal customer happy. This is my favorite Starbucks. The baristas are so friendly and there have been some early mornings where I drive away with a smile on my face because of how nice they are! They take the time to ask how you're doing and don't act like they hate the world like most baristas do at 6 am (I get it, it's early... but you're working customer service!) Sometimes I do a mobile order and they always have it ready for me when I get there. When they are out of food items they are always apologetic and give me other options I can get. 30 min. That is how long we waited for one strawberry drink. I totally understand that we are in a pandemic and hiring/staffing is a concern. I guess I just wonder either if you can't handle having a store open and a drive through, maybe don't be open yet. OR..... maybe prior to taking someone's money, let them know if may be 30 min and then the customer can decide if they have time to wait or not. This location USED TO BE my first choice until a couple of recent experiences. A person who referred to herself as the manager informed me I needed to order extra milk if I wanted an "iced latte" with no ice. I had never heard of such a thing, and I have ordered MANY drinks. After I questioned her, she told me this was a new policy she would be enforcing, but she reluctantly filled the remaining space in my cup with oat milk (which I had already paid extra for!). THEN- the next time I visited, the barista handed me my drink, and it wasn't filled to the top. I asked for more oat milk- (truthfully I had forgotten about my previous experience) and she told me in a very condescending tone that her manager had already told me I couldn't have more oat milk! I was shocked that she even recognized me as I hadn't noticed her on the previous visit. I can't even remember how I responded, but she actually seemed to enjoy refusing to add more milk. I took my drink and left, and will not return to that location- ever! When I'm paying nearly $8 for coffee made w oat milk, extra shot/flavor they are going to harass and refuse to add more milk?? That is crazy to me- anyone who has observed the making of drinks at Starbucks knows how much waste there is; maybe they should start their conservation there! But mostly the complete lack of interest in developing customer loyalty byway of excellent customer service is epidemic and baffling! read more

I have been to this Starbucks before. I had a horrible experience and swore I wouldn't come to this one again. But then today I thought 'Weeell, maybe I shouldn't boycott the establishment based on one experience...' So I went again. I got an online order. I gave them plenty of time so that I wouldn't be unhappy (last time, I ordered an online order 20 minutes ahead of time and when I got there, it wasn't made...) My order was sitting there waiting for me. But I got 2 drinks and I already had a lot of stuff to carry. I wanted a drink carrier. I called out 'Excuse me!' twice then yelled 'Excuse me!' and no one answered. They just ignored me. I looked around and found where they were - it was clear that one of the baristas were supposed to hand those out. But no one was listening so I grabbed one myself; it was a very awkward angle. For that to be avoided in the future, one of two things can be done. 1) LISTEN!!!! 2) If someone orders two or more drinks, PUT THEM IN A CARRIER!!!! This issue of people ignoring me and being relatively rude - that's why I said I wasn't going back. But this Starbucks is 9 minutes from my house and 3 minutes from my work so I gave them another chance. BIG MISTAKE... These people aren't rude in the malicious/mean sort of way; they just have a tendency to ignore people. I love my iced blonde double shot coffee - but I'm not going there to get it... Suffice it to say - if I could give them negative stars, I would (although if all you care about is the coffee and convenience of location but don't give a damn about customer service - suit yourself; this is a Starbucks. We frequent Starbucks because they not only have decaf coffee (order a decaf pour over), but they also have heavy whipping cream for lattes. I can also order their sugar free syrups to make a couple of their fancy drinks keto when I'm having a splurge day. I've tried the other big coffee shops in town and no one else has heavy whipping cream. Starbucks even helped my Mom and Dad during their last order by picking up that they were trying to order a keto speciality drink and helped them get the correct syrup. My parents were super impressed that a normal person out in the regular world understood the dietary restrictions of our weird life and she was really happy about it. For the ketoers out there a latte with heavy whipping cream packs a caloric punch, but it also will keep you full for hours. My Dad likes his with sugar free vanilla syrup. Their plain decaf pour over with a splash of HWC is my go to beverage. read more

Left without my macchiatos - was taking way too long - didn't think it would take more than 10 min for 2 drinks when I was the first car on line at the drive thru. I was waiting to get back to work to have my first sip and was totally disappointed to find I do not have a non-fat latte. I honestly don't know what I got, but I can't drink it. Super bummed. They are nice, but the when my husband and I get our coffee, it's like a game of roulette.. you are hoping for a win but in the end, it's not what you hoped for. We called them because both of our coffees didn't taste anything like what we ordered, they were unsterstanding and said gave us free coffee. We got our coffees this morning and it doesn't taste anything like our coffees, in fact, they taste watered down. I so much wanted to give this a five star, because when you get a coffee done right, it's absolutely delicious. When we found out there was one that was closer to home, we were excited.
